Check in was prompt at the easy to find office. At boarding, the Skipper Jeff was friendly and welcoming, as were the other two crew members. We were welcomed with some wraps, nibbles and drinks before setting off. We were told we were free to wander anywhere on the boat and the crew never made you feel like you were in their way at all. Our stop on Low isle, via glass bottom tender, was great with a very informative guided snorkel and short tour round the island. We were lucky enough to meet and chat with the friendly caretakers of the island as they were setting up for a Bird count. The weather turned a little on our return to the boat making re-boarding a little difficult for some passengers. But the crew handled the situation with patience, expertise, and professionalism ensuring all passengers were re-boarded safely. The crew were attentive and helpful and made you feel right at home. All the views were stunning; the views on the way to the low isles, the reef itself, and the suns

Amazing snorkelling experience with great crew who we're enthusiastic and helpful. So tranquil sailing there. A must do to see an awesome undersea world. Buffet was sumptuous and plentiful. The sail back was exciting as we had a swell.

Must-do activities in Cairns. First, let's talk about boat selection: The Sun Lover is actually quite popular with Chinese tourists, but after some research, I found it's more suitable for families with children. My husband and I opted for the Reef Magic, which has slightly better snorkeling conditions. We saw a lot of fish, and Nemo was darting around among the corals—so cute! We even saw a giant giant clam! Regarding facilities, there are glass-bottom boats, semi-submarine boats, marine life lectures, and much more. Optional paid activities include a 10-minute helicopter tour/helicopter jump. A quick tip: If you're worried about seasickness, definitely fly there and back! It depends on the weather, but a 10-minute tour is definitely not enough, haha! Also, the boat ride there was incredibly bumpy 😭 I never get seasick or carsick, but today I threw up in three huge vomit bags! Especially in the last 30 minutes before arrival, almost everyone on the boat was vomiting… Regarding service, the staff were professional and enthusiastic. When we went snorkeling, not only were lifeguards constantly in the water, but there were also safety officers on the second floor constantly monitoring and rotating shifts to ensure high concentration. This was really good and made me feel very safe. Regarding the food, it was actually quite delicious, but my husband and I were so focused on snorkeling and watching the small fish that we only managed to grab a quick bite near the end of the meal service.

Great trip. Just confusing in the booking a little as to whether lunch or not included.

It was a great travel experience. The Great Barrier Reef is absolutely beautiful, and the whole trip was smooth and enjoyable. The buffet was delicious, and the helicopter ride was fantastic. The only downside is that seasickness is quite common when going out to sea, so it's best to bring seasickness medication.

The so-called "Chinese-speaking tour" is actually just a confirmation email sent to your phone by the merchant after you've successfully purchased and paid for the tickets. It lists the activities included in the package. However, there's virtually no Chinese-speaking service throughout the trip; it's essentially like buying two packages and then traveling entirely independently. On the boat and on the Great Barrier Reef platform, those who speak good English can learn more about the activities and have a smoother experience, while those who don't can just go with the flow. The overall experience of this tour wasn't as great as I had imagined beforehand; this varies from person to person because everyone's past experiences and expectations are different.
