Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque is located near Pettah Market. Construction began in 1908 and was completed the following year. Due to its striking red and white striped exterior walls, it is colloquially known by locals as the "Red Mosque" and is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Colombo. It is said that in the days before high-rise buildings emerged around the harbor, sailors entering the port often used it to identify the port of Colombo. The entire building is a two-story structure made of red and white bricks, with stripes, domes, minarets, and a clock tower stacked in layers. St. Mary's Church is a very beautiful Catholic church with a very nice surrounding. If people here hold weddings, most of them will choose to hold them in St. Mary's Church, which is also a local landmark historical building.

Niganbu lagoon, rich in fishery resources, abounds in shrimp and crabs. The lake is surrounded by lush vegetation, surrounded by large coconut forests and paddy fields, with beautiful scenery. Along with your whole journey, crows can be seen everywhere. In Sri Lanka, the crow is called a divine bird.
