•234m seaside tower, Fukuoka landmark •The cityscape of Fukuoka and the beautiful scenery of Hakata Bay unfold in a panoramic view Fukuoka Tower is located by the seaside and stands 234 m tall, making it a landmark of Fukuoka. The tower's body, covered with 8,000 mirror panels, is designed as a soaring triangular prism that radiates light day and night with an extraordinary presence. For enjoying the night view, there is no better place in all of Fukuoka. Take the elevator to the observation deck at 123 m, and through the 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, the dazzling lights of the entire coastal city flicker right beneath your feet. Night light show: walk down one floor along the stairs to reach the café, order a cocktail and sit for a while, quietly taking in Fukuoka's bustling night scenery. In addition, on evenings during Tanabata or Christmas, the mirror windows are decorated with neon lights, presenting an impressive nighttime light show. A dating spot for couples: on the 3rd floor observation room there is also a heart-shaped arch; when a couple holds hands and touches the arch, they will be surrounded by a heart shape that lights up. △ In "Fukuoka panorama," you can enjoy the sparkling Hakata Bay, the enchanting sunset, and the romantic Fukuoka night view through time-lapse videos... △ Enjoy lunch and coffee under the blue sky, and in the evening, savor a romantic moment while gazing at the sparkling night view.

What travellers say about Saga City

There are not many places to visit in Saga, but Saga Castle is worth a visit. In the evening, the setting sun falls on the Saga Castle History Museum like molten gold, giving this ancient city a soft and mysterious golden coat. Stepping lightly, stepping into this land treated gently by time, it seems as if you have traveled through the tunnel of time and space and returned to that turbulent era. Saga Castle, whose history can be traced back to the early Edo period, was once the location of the Saga Domain Office. However, after many wars and fires, Saga Castle has been damaged several times. Especially in the Saga Rebellion in the early Meiji era, most of the buildings in the city were burned down, and only the city walls and gates were preserved. The Saga Castle History Museum we see today was built on the basis of the reconstruction by the then domain lord Nabeshima Naomasa in 1838, and has been maintained and restored. The History Museum stands quietly under the city wall. Without the hustle and bustle of the day, it is more solemn and quiet at this moment. The city wall, the mottled stones, every brick and tile are engraved with the stories of the past. They have witnessed the changes of countless dynasties and the baptism of wind and rain, but they still stand tall, guarding the memory and glory of this land. Walking along the city wall, you can still vaguely hear the echo of history Walking into the history museum, the lights are soft and the atmosphere is warm. With more than 700 tatami mats, it is one of the largest wooden restoration buildings in Japan. The museum displays a variety of exhibits, from ancient weapons to exquisite works of art, from documentary records to daily utensils, each of which carries the weight of history and tells the past and present of Saga Castle. In particular, those historical materials related to the late shogunate and the Meiji Restoration period, through materials, images and models, present the history of this period in many ways, making people feel as if they are in that turbulent era.

The Yoshinogari ruins were discovered in 1989, overturning the common belief that there were no large moated villages in Kyushu! 2,000 urn coffins and the first Japanese bronze castings were unearthed from the ruins.

On the first day I arrived in Fukuoka, I went straight to Saga Prefecture next door, visited the ancient tombs of the Yayoi period and the hot air balloon museum, and climbed to the top of Yutoku Inari Shrine. When I went back to Oo Shrine, I discovered the coin-operated store. The rice machine is really interesting. After walking all day, I had Saga beef as I wished in the evening🐮The waiter was worried that I wouldn’t be able to eat 200g of meat. Later, he saw that I was enjoying my meal and said that I could add rice for free😂I returned to Fukuoka with a bulging belly😅Kyushu’s train🚃Although Very retro, but very comfortable and beautiful, but it is inconvenient to have to sell tickets manually. And it only accepts cash, which is a bit unexpectedly backward😋

[Scenery] Recommended Aomori attractions to visit in summer [Fun] Visit the Prefectural Museum of Art in early July. The weather is cool and the scenery is lush. You can take the shuttle bus from Aomori Station. The shuttle bus time is subject to the time (it was changed on the day of the visit due to sports competitions). Please note that you cannot take photos in the Nara Michiho-hei area. You can only take photos of Aomori dogs. In addition to the above exhibitions, there are also irregular art exhibitions. It is worth spending an afternoon to visit.

This shrine is associated with the Nabeshima clan, lords of the Saga domain, and I visited to see the restored Armstrong gun. The significant role Saga played in Japan's modern history is conveyed quietly yet powerfully here. The grounds are spacious and well-maintained, and the magnificent sacred tree and shrine building are well worth seeing. It's not as flashy as a tourist destination, but it's a place where you can feel the weight and pride of history. If you visit the nearby Saga Castle ruins and history museum as well, you can gain a deeper understanding of Saga's greatness. Seeing the real thing is impressive, and you can really see the advanced technological capabilities that the Saga domain used to support Japan's modernization. The quiet grounds allowed me to really feel the weight of history.
