The "Hundred-year-old Korean Tribe in China" is located in Bailong Village, Yueqing Town, Tumen City, Jilin Province, 10 kilometers away from the town. It is an antique tribal group with distinctive Korean architectural characteristics. 13 Korean houses with different styles and uses have been built for tourists to visit. The "Hundred-year-old Tribe" building is in the shape of a large roof, with a flat ridge in the middle and two ends standing up. The middle is flat like a boat, and the two ends stand up like a crane. There are rope patterns and auspicious characters on the tiles. The round or semi-circular lotus-patterned tiles, neat black tiles, towering ridges, and snow-white walls give people a fresh, comfortable, and neat aesthetic. The tribe is a traditional "farmhouse" tourist area that integrates folk food, farming life, and folk performances and entertainment. The predecessor of the "Century-Old House" was built by Korean immigrant businessman Park Rugen in 1880 and completed in September 1883, which took three years. The house is built with earth, wood and tiles, without a single nail, and the tools used are primitive large adzes, small adzes and axes. The wood used is high-quality logs from Changbai Mountain, which are transported here along the Tumen River by rafts, and the tiles are shipped from North Korea on the other side by boat. The neat green tiles, towering roof ridges, and snow-white walls give people a fresh, comfortable and tidy aesthetic feeling.Tumen · 18.7km from downtown

Sun Mountain is located on the China-North Korea border in the southeast of Tumen City and is a spur of theChangbai Mountainrange. It is named for its sunny aspect and the rosy clouds that bathe it at dawn. The attraction features unique peaks, strange rocks, forests, and border scenery, blending ecological conservation with cultural landscapes to create a unique geographical advantage where you can "view two countries from one mountain." The mountain is composed of granite, which has weathered into figurative rocks likeBuddha's Hand Rockand Screen Rock. These, combined with century-old Korean pine and oak forests, create an ecological wonder of "trees growing from rocks and rocks embracing trees." From the observation deck at the southern foot of the main peak of Sun Mountain, you can overlook the winding Tumen River. The cityscape of Namyang, North Korea, is clearly visible across the river, where a railway bridge and a road bridge stand side by side, serving as a testament to the trade and cultural exchange between China and North Korea. Halfway up the mountain, Huayan Monastery is built against the slope, with its blue tiles and red pillars set against lush pines and cypresses. The monastery retains traditional Korean Buddhist architectural styles, and the morning bells and evening drums add to the serene atmosphere. The attraction features wooden boardwalks and hiking trails that connectLion-Watching Terrace, Immortal Terrace, and other attractions. Along the way, wild lilies, rhododendrons, and other vegetation bloom with the changing seasons.Tumen · 4.4km from downtown

Almost everyone who visits Tumen will stop by this square. Firstly, it's very close to the boundary marker, and secondly, standing here offers a view of the opposite side of the border. Transportation from the train station is very convenient; don't worry about taxis, just take the bus.

When you come to Tumen Port, you must visit Boundary Marker No. 86. Boundary Marker No. 86 is an important geographical landmark on the border between China and North Korea, which has both historical significance and tourism value, and the scenery is also very beautiful.

The highlight here is that there is a century-old house with a relatively complete courtyard, which reproduces the living environment of the Korean people. It has a sense of history. There is a flush toilet. There is a snack place. The variety is simple. Korean characteristics, cold noodles, etc. Clearly marked prices. There are folk song and dance performances. Personally, I think the drums are good. In the same direction as Nikko Mountain.

Riguang Mountain is located six kilometers southeast of Tumen City. Standing on the main peak, you can clearly overlook Tumen City in China and Nanyang City in North Korea. Across the street, North Korean soldiers are singing military songs during drills, and their voices can be clearly heard. Dogs are barking constantly, smoke is curling, and the sun is bright and peaceful.

Although it's an artificial photo spot, it's still quite interesting because I've never seen architecture like this before. The garden is actually very small; you can walk through it in no time if you don't take photos, so you don't need to stay too long.

When traveling to Tumen, it is necessary to see the other side. The best location is at Riguang Mountain, and the best location at Riguang Mountain is Nanyang Pavilion. Take bus No. 9 to the terminal. Across the road is the entrance to Riguang Mountain. On the left hand side there is a plank road under construction. You need to climb over a wooden plank road railing to get to the end. This road is the shortest and you can quickly reach Nanyang Pavilion, which is actually a two-story viewing platform with a good view.

😱The log flume was thrilling!😄 🎢The roller coaster is a favorite among young people❤, but the weightlessness of the drop tower made me hesitate. Kudos to the brave riders!😃 🏃Amusement park worth a try!👍

Continuing along, we reached boundary marker 87, which marks the highway border crossing. This crossing is open to visitors for 25 yuan, but only for Chinese citizens; foreigners are not allowed. We went to buy tickets, but there was no one at the ticket office. A staff member sitting at the entrance said entry was free with an ID card—no charge today! Great! Continuing along the riverbank, we arrived at the border crossing. There are two bridges here; the older one is for tourists, and the newer one is for vehicles, with its entrance connecting to the customs building. The highway border crossing bridge is 514.92 meters long in total, with the Chinese section being 98.08 meters. We used the pedestrian bridge, which was our closest point to North Korea. The two countries are separated only by an iron gate. Many people were taking photos here.
