4.7/5

143 reviews

Sanqing Shanwai Shuangsie Ropeway is a ropeway used for transporting passengers in Mount Sanqing Scenic District. It was built and began operation in September of 1996, and is still in operation today. There are many points of support along the ropeway, and movement along the ropeway is quick. Over a thousand people can be transported every hour. In China, it is a relatively fast and high capacity ropeway. During the lift, passengers can see the Three Layer Mountain in the distance, and it is quite a view. When the cloud rises, it seems heaven-like. Between mountain crevices, dense Yingkesong can be seen on the surface of faults.

Sea of Clouds Sightseeing in Yushan

4.6

Yushan is a majestic mountain with overlapping peaks and is surrounded by clouds all year round, forming a magnificent sea of clouds. Every morning or evening, the clouds roll in the mountains, like a turbulent ocean. The ideal seasons for viewing the sea of clouds at Yushan are spring and autumn, when the climate is pleasant and the sea of clouds is particularly spectacular. Visitors can walk along the cliff plank road in the Nanqing Garden Scenic Area to experience the magnificence of the sea of clouds up close; or enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea of clouds from different angles and at different times in the West Coast Scenic Area, which is very healing.

One-Line Sky

4.5

4.3/5

63 reviews

One-Line Sky is located within Nanqing Park. It is named for the sliver of blue sky visible through the gap between the two towering cliffs. You will pass through here on the way from the spectacular Shenlong Xisong Scenic Area to Yunu with Open Arms. It has a vertical drop of nearly 100m, a slope length of 120m, and the canyon is only 0.7–1m wide. The stone steps here are steep, and climbing them requires some effort. The 299 steps are a homophone for 'love forever' in Chinese, symbolizing everlasting love. Near the handrails at the top of the steps, the most eye-catching sight is the dense collection of love locks engraved with the names of countless couples. Couples shouldn't miss this opportunity to attach a love lock to the chains and pledge their eternal love!

Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain

4.4

4.6/5

384 reviews

The Python Mountains are located in the Nanqing Park Sanqing Mountain Scenic Area, facing the distant Goddess of the East. They're included among the three great sights of the Sanqing Mountains. They are naturally occurring granite stelae, with flat heads and slightly thinner necks. Thus they resemble giant pythons that have burst forth from the mountain. They've stood tall for more than 100 million years through wind and rain, and are extremely mystical.

Oriental Goddess

4.4

4.8/5

203 reviews

The Oriental Goddess, also known as the Goddess of Spring, is the iconic landscape of the Sanqingshan Scenic Area. The entire mountain looks like a girl with beautiful hair draped over her shoulders. For billions of years, the goddess has sat on the mountain, silently watching all living beings with a peaceful expression. It is really a masterpiece of nature.

Sunrise Sightseeing in Yushan

4.1

The sunrise at Yushan is a natural wonder that makes people feel relaxed and happy. When the first ray of sunlight penetrates the mist and shines on the top of the mountains, the whole valley seems to be embraced by the golden light. Yutai is located in the east of the Nanqingyuan Scenic Area of Sanqing Mountain, with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters. It has a very wide view and is a good place to watch the sunrise. The Jinshaxi Observation Deck is also a good viewing point. There are not only clear streams, but also a wide view. When the sun rises from behind the mountain, the golden sunlight and the sparkling water surface complement each other, which is very pleasant.
