Guests should be aware that, although the webpage clearly states that rooms are equipped with a 21 inch television including cable service, this is deception. Technically yes, there is a tv, but no cable or antennae service, and no remote control. The front desk clerk told me that no rooms have tv service due to sidewalk re-construction , however no construction was evident at the time of my stay. I was checked into a 3rd floor room, and the internet signal was too weak. When I complained, I was moved to a 2nd floor room, so problem solved. If you choose to stay here, be forewarned that there are no elevators. Also, be aware that Pub Street is very close (across the street) and the very loud music persists throughout every night, until 6 AM. A good pair of ear plugs is an essential requirement. On my last night there I could not use the earplugs because I needed to set an alarm clock due to early morning travel obligations, and it was a sleepless night for me. On the plus side, the prices are reasonable considering these faults. The staff were friendly, including front desk clerks and the house keeping persons. On two occasions, however, the housekeepers failed to lock my room door after cleaning, so my belongings were vulnerable to theft until I returned to the room. The second time, the door was left ajar! I brought this to the desk clerk’s attention, so it didn’t happen again. The rooms that I saw were kept clean and well maintained, except TV service, as well as the lobby and hallways. I did not use, nor see the pool area, and was not advised by staff upon check-in, of its existence, so I cannot comment on that. This has a policy prohibiting you from bringing anyone to your room, unless they are a registered guest at the hotel. I would give this hotel a 2.5 stars rating, out of 5 possible stars, overall. There are numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk. Khmer Kitchen, just a three minute walk, on San Sok Road, was one of my favorites. The night markets are also close by as well. Tuk- tuk drivers are always readily available should you want to visit Angkor Wat or other sites.

A friend had booked a room for me in this hotel for four nights. I was on the ground floor, and was very happy with the room. Air conditioning worked well, and although I was close to the reception area, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable A large double bed and some oversized furniture is used to furnish the room. Cambodian furniture is massive, a cherry red color and practically speaking, immovable. Had NO problems with the internet and had a good nights sleep. Outside the hotel are tuk tuks - dedicated to the hotel - ready to whisk away any visitor to any part of the city one chooses to vist. The drivers do speak English. Breakfast is served on the roof of the hotel, and for a vegetarian the selection was adequate - barely. Cost of the buffet is USD 5.00 Alongside the rooftop breakfast room (terrace) there is a small swimming pool, more suited to those who wish to cool off, rather than those hoping to swim laps. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. A couple of major markets are within walking distance. Vit KIng restaurant (exclusively vegetarian) IS close by, but the selection is pretty limited unfortunately. Siem Reap is a nice town, well worth spending a few days in. Pretty much wherever one would want to go (with the exception of some attractions like Angkor Wat), is within walking street - the entertainment hub, and tourist market - Pub Street is nearby. If staying more than a night, ask for a discounted rate. The reception desk staff are helpful and well informed.

We had the best welcome i think we have throughout any stays in Asia. On our arrival we were greeted by Nevine, one of the staff, who made us feel extremely welcome. we were seated and bought a lovely cool drink, nibbles and a cold Menthol infused flannel to cool down. We were then given all the details for the hotel, given a map of the local area and Nevine talked us through this in excellent English, we were then given a sheet which had local dialect and had a great time learning how to say hello, thank you, and such like. The hotel was really clean throughout all the areas communal and the room and room cleans were offered daily if you wanted them, we ended up staying an extra night as all the staff and the hotel was great for what we wanted. our room was also spacious and in great state of repair. I can not recommend this hotel enough and would definitely return. The only downfall i can see, which actually for us was not a problem. was the hotel is right next door to a primary school which is open from 7am - 5pm and obviously comes with some amount of noise, but again this was explained to us on arrival and a room change offered where possible. The hotel is close to pub street, but this did not cause any problems with noise and was close enough to everything if we wanted it. Great little hotel, fairly priced for what you get. Loved it

We spent one night at Bayon Shadow Villa. The room was ok, the door of the bathroom was broken but everything else was ok. The swimming pool was perfect for a hot day. The hotel is located near the old Market and next to many cheap restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Yes cheaper stuff near pub street but none as modern, clean and peaceful as this place been here 7 days so far 3 days to go my experience here has been outstanding!!! Lovely pool side oisais great for chilling and soaking up some sun before hitting the hustle and bustle of Siem reap. Walking distance to everything... Download the pass app and get a ride in for as low as $1...but I've enjoyed walking meeting the locals and getting a real feel/ local cultural experience people are so friendly and interactive!! They even organised my tuk tuk driver to pick me up from the airport to the hotel and was waiting there for me with my name... I didn't have to trouble myself with haggling for a deal at the airport as known as for Hoklin his great knows the area well ... I even did the sunrise tour with him... He had true knowledge of the temples and took me to each site, waited for me and supplied cold water every time we stopped at a site. The pool is cleaned regularly. Place is fumigated for mosquito's Great breakfast and dinner when not bothered to leave the hotel. Wifi is fantastic Printing ablative Dat house cleaning!!!

”I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sinaka Angkor Hotel during my visit to Siem Reap, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine smile from the attentive staff. The hotel's location is ideal, situated just a short distance from the city center, making it convenient to explore the vibrant streets and nearby attractions. Additionally, the proximity to popular sites such as Viti English Speaking Private Driver, Ammo Jewellery Workshop, and Claycult Cambodia was a definite plus. The rooms at Sinaka Angkor Hotel are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The attention to detail and cleanliness were impeccable, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay. The bathroom was well-equipped with modern amenities, and the availability of toiletries and a hairdryer added a touch of convenience. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning city view from my room. Waking up to such a picturesque sight was truly a delight. The hotel's outdoor spaces, including the sun deck and terrace, provided a peaceful oasis to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The hotel staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs. The concierge was incredibly helpful in organizing tours and providing recommendations for local attractions. The 24-hour front desk and express check-in/out made the whole process seamless and hassle-free. Dining options at the hotel were exceptional. The restaurant offered a variety of delectable dishes, and the bar provided a cozy atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink. The coffee house on-site was perfect for a quick pick-me-up before heading out for the day. I was impressed by the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The free Wi-Fi throughout the property ensured I stayed connected, and the daily housekeeping service maintained a clean and tidy environment. The outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing retreat, and the attentive pool bar staff made sure I had everything I needed for a relaxing day by the water. The spa services were top-notch, providing a range of indulgent treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated. Overall, my experience at the Sinaka Angkor Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, and convenient location made it a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap, and I look forward to returning in the future.”

I had my friends staying in the nearby Onederz hotel and Angkor Sand hotel was amore affordable and better option for a double bedroom in my opinion. The room had just been renovated. It was clean and tidy and had a bathtub in it which is very uncommon and much appreciated. The bed was also very comfortable and the A/C was super efficient. Good wifi network as well. Location was perfect, right in the city center and everything I needed in a walking distance : a mini mart a few meters away and 5mn from pub street. The pool area is great, it is a sandy poolside with coconut trees so it like being at the beach right in the center of the city, perfect to cool down when it's hot. It is now my go-to place in Siem Reap and I can't wait to be back.
