MMcKibbin: This place has really nice rooms and seems very professionally operated. The swimming pool was nice and the American breakfast was better than expected. There is a bar and restaurant very close. I was visiting nearby family. This is probably your best option for Exton, Pennsylvania. They do require a credit card on check in, but do not take Unionpay. This is a bit inconvenient. Good Hotel!

There’s a romantic French estate hidden near Philadelphia! Longwood Gardens is about a 1-hour drive from University City 🚗 and is one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen in the eastern US! ✨ Fountain area 🕑 The best light is early morning and late afternoon! The fountain show here is amazing! 🎶 The music fountain changes the height of the water jets to the rhythm, and sunlight passing through the mist creates stunning rainbow halos 🌈 The French symmetrical garden design is very meticulous, with neat hedges and open lawns. Every shot looks like a postcard 📸 🌿 Greenhouse area 🕧 Recommended visit time: 1–2 hours I was amazed when I stepped into this plant paradise! Rare species from around the world 💐 The light through the glass roof is super dreamy, and every corner is incredibly beautiful 💥 There are comfortable seating areas to rest. When you’re tired, just sit and relax, soaking in the greenery—it’s very pleasant~ 🗓️ Recommended 3-day itinerary nearby: Day 1 | Longwood Gardens day trip Morning: shoot fountain photos 📷 Afternoon: stroll garden paths and enjoy peaceful moments Day 2 | Brandywine River Museum An art-filled museum 🎨 In the afternoon, explore the surrounding countryside~ Day 3 | Philadelphia Museum of Art + city stroll Visit famous artworks 🖼️ Afternoon coffee in the city is just perfect ☕

#arrivalguide walked the full 100 miles west-to-east over seven days in late May, sleeping in Exton, Buriton, Amberley, Southease and ending in Eastbourne. The South Downs Way is a bridleway the whole length, so you share chalk with cyclists and horses, but the ridge itself is broad, yellow with tormentil in June, and drained perfectly—I never had wet feet despite two rain days. Winchester cathedral close to Cheesefoot Head is 11 miles of gentle farmland climb; the real downs start at Butser Hill (270 m, highest point on the trail) where I caught a bus connection mistake: I’d booked a B&B in Petersfield 3 miles off-route and lost 90 minutes each evening to the shuttle—stay in on-ridge villages like Cocking or Amberley if you can. Amberley to Southease crosses Chanctonbury Ring and Devil’s Dyke; water is scarce on top, so I carried 2.5 L and refilled at village pubs (tap water is free by law in UK pubs, just ask). The last day, Southease to Eastbourne via Cuckmere Haven, the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head, is the payoff—20 km of cliff-edge walking with the sea finally appearing. Trains link both ends to London (Winchester from Waterloo, Eastbourne from Victoria) and intermediate stations make section-hiking trivial. A common error: underestimating cumulative ascent—around 4,200 m over the week, more than people expect from “gentle downs.” My question: do you walk it for the chalk ecology and silence, or mainly to bank the Seven Sisters finale?

Today, we visited a new and fascinating venue – the Palace of Entertainment. I was amazed by the variety, interactive activities, and cleanliness in every zone. It felt like being a child again, wanting to touch everything, jump around, and dive into a ball pool. Plan for about 1.5-2 hours because there's so much to not only see but also try, experience, and discover. They also offer guided tours, which is a great bonus, making the visit even more engaging. The variety of zones on the first floor was fantastic, especially the ball jumping area! The ball pool was the ultimate childhood dream come true – spacious, full of balls, and delightfully uncrowded. We were absolutely thrilled!

Many people think Philadelphia only has historical American buildings to see, but surprisingly, the nearby small towns offer plenty of picturesque old money spots. It's leisurely and pleasant, perfect for both tourism and weekend getaways… 1️⃣ Longwood Gardens (Photos 10-13) An English-style garden about a 45-minute drive from downtown Philadelphia, walkable in one visit. It features several different plant areas (floral art, bonsai, tropical, indoor, etc.) and a large fountain. Several nights a week, there are themed musical fountain shows (such as Taylor Swift specials, movie OST specials, etc.) with lights and music—definitely worth watching. It’s recommended to enter around 3 PM, stroll leisurely through the garden, have dinner at the on-site restaurant around 6 PM (the food is excellent), and finish dining before 8:30 PM to catch the fountain show starting at 9 PM upstairs. 2️⃣ Winterthur (Photos 2-6) A century-old family mansion hidden within over a thousand acres of gardens. Taking the small train to visit each stop is much easier than walking. There are countless varieties of flowers, trees, and landscaping, with millions of azaleas and autumn foliage 🍁 throughout the grounds. Every corner reflects the lifestyle and traces of the old money family. Sunlight filtering through the treetops onto vintage fountains makes you feel like a lady from Downton Abbey with every snap! 3️⃣ Nemours Estate (Photos 7-9) The largest French-style garden in North America, featuring fountains, golden statues, and maze lawns. Every corner exudes French romance. You can also see vintage Rolls-Royce cars! Fewer people than Winterthur, so no need to fight for photo spots 📸. Every shot captures the European old money vibe, and the best part is it’s easier to photograph and less crowded than European estates!

Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania is a famous botanical garden on the east coast of the United States. This botanical garden was opened to the public a hundred years ago. In addition to fountains and statues, Longwood Gardens also preserves more than 4,000 species of plants.
sculptor🗽 Statue of Liberty, New York —The Statue of Liberty is one of the most famous landmarks in New York City, USA. Standing on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, the iconic statue symbolizes freedom, hope, and opportunity.
Wahiduzzaman SadiA truly iconic building that’s absolutely worth a visit, especially the 86th‑floor open‑air observatory. The views were jaw‑dropping and easily some of my favourite I’ve ever seen. Just love it ♥️
Wahiduzzaman SadiPerhaps because the summer holidays are over, there were no lines. It was very convenient to scan the code to enter. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is very large, so you can stroll around at your own pace. If you get tired, there are places to grab a drink or a snack. The US is a large country, not crowded. Even in very lively areas, there are plenty of places to rest, which is very thoughtful.
