Stayed at this lovely hotel, right on the sea front, for 10 nights. We booked a Superior room with sea view, not sure what was superior about it apart from the sea view and bath robes (no belts) and slippers, but it had everything we needed. The shower was good apart from the water draining away, itcwas very slow so we had to keep turning the water off until it drained. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed even though we had left them hung up. Having mobility issues I really appreciated the ramps all over the hotel inside and out. We were AI and the three buffets per day were varied enough not to get bored and the food was good. The AI drinks were OK apart from the wine, which I think was Retsina and too harsh for us. We mainly drank beer ( not bad), and the local brandy and ouzo which were fine. It would have been nice if one or two cocktails were included on the AI menu but the cocktails we paid for were good. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Angela and Valarious (apologies if I've spelt it wrong) on the bar in the evening were efficient and friendly. A big shout out to Mr Nikos on the fruit juice and coffee machine, he was a ray of sunshine each morning at breakfast with his big Kalimera greeting to everyone and always ready with dietary advice. The pool is very small and we didn't use it but the sunbeds on the lawn at the back of the hotel were the most comfortable sunbeds we've ever come across and we've tried a lot. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't be averse to a second visit.

Came + stayed at this hotel early October. The hotel its self is lovely very boujee + aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We came as a 3 (3 adults) 1 goes on the sofa bed. The sofa bed is hard + uncomfortable the bed isn’t that much better. The pillows you may as well not have any. The 3rd person has just paid as much as us other adults so why don’t they get a bed. The sofa bed is more for a child. The room kept being set up for 2 people with towels + pool towels left when you can clearly see it has 3 people in it. Only 2 chairs on the balcony meaning someone sit on the floor or 1 stands The cleaner she does as much as making the bed that’s it. We had to keep asking for tea + sugar to be left. A daily thing that should be replenished you don’t even get a fresh bottle of water left to fill the kettle each day. A basic in any hotel let alone what’s meant to be a 5 star. We had a birthday cake left in our room untouched for 4 days you can clearly see we weren’t going to eat it especially after this long in the end to get rid we put it outside the door to make it known to take it. She does a little water flick around the sink but the taps & mirrors didn’t get touched or wiped down This hotel is not a 5 star by any stretch. Take the asthetics away & it’s a 3 star. I travel alot staying in 4-5 star hotels that are definatley that. The resturant is very small at full capacity I’d love to see how they cope with tables + the amount of people milling around. The food was often bland so samey. I don’t think much option as well either Tables set up mostly for 2 when we sat at a 4 table staff got funny but tables that would sit 4 only made up for 2. They were slow in setting it up for another person 1/2 the time we got cutlery from the table next to us. 80% of the staff are just so miserable. 90% of time no little spoon for stirring cup of tea & never got a spoon at the bar by the pool in the evening. The hotel lacks atmosphere massively, only a few shows a week. Outside it’s just the same shops repeat after 1 another after walking them 3 nights in a row was enough. There isn’t much going on. We tried other hotels in the evening but the entertainment there too was dire. We paid to change rooms as the room urban chic is too small for 3 adults. We moved to the front over looking the beach. It’s so noisey with the bins, chairs being dragged at 4am from outside. We had a screaming baby next to us that just cried all the time. This place isn’t for kids. I have a 13 year old & he would have been bored as hell here TBF I was 3 days in I was ready to go home. The hype on tiktok does not live up to what you expect in real life…. For what you pay it’s not worth it at all. Would i recommend NO much better places for this kind of money where you do get a 5 star hotel + service is top notch

The manager here helped me when I was stranded, I had no phone, no bank card and he heard my story and helped me. I am so grateful to him and his hotel. He reserved a room for me and when I was able to get my card and paid for the stay along with my partner. The hotel decor was very nice, the room was comfortable and perfect ( this is the only place I did not get mosquito bites) the location is superb and I had a sea view room! A quiet place on a busy street, their breakfast was free 🫡🫡 I love food and this made my heart swell with joy. I will definitely be back to this place. Thank you so much for helping me and providing me with shelter ❤️‍🔥 The staff were amazing too!
Heronissos Hotel

When you arrive and see it from the street, it is very underwhelming! Left wondering what on earth I had booked. But once inside it all changes. Large reception area and then out into the actual resort itself. No big hotel buildings here. Instead the rooms and complex is built in the style of a quaint village. The rooms themselves are fairly basic inside but the doors have good locks, the wifi works well, air-conditioning is good, two single beds moved together....comfortable enough. Fridge, free bottle of water each day, plenty plug points, balcony with table and two chairs, kettle with coffee and tea sachets, shower foam in the bathroom. Bathroom towels and pool towels provided. Beware if you are larger sized however as the shower cubicle is fairly tight. The negative? Having to pay an additional 3 EUR per night to use the room safe! Why at an all-inclusive resort do they do that? The pools are clean enough, the staff are friendly, the beach is a small affair with a rocky shoreline. No fine, golden sand here but there is at least a small beach. Although there are two a-la-carte restaurants open on certain nights, I never went just sticking instead to the main buffet restaurant. Maybe not the biggest selection/variety of a resort and rather repetitive with some dishes, but it tasted great. I thought that some of the dishes were as good as I have had at any resort hotel anywhere. There is pool bar down at the lower pool but it closes before dinner. The main bar however is open until late. The staff there are hard worked! But friendly. Local beer is fine but if you want foreign beers then you have to pay extra (e.g. Heineken). But be aware as drinks ordered after 2300 hours have to be paid for. Not included in the 'all inclusive'. Also beware that some popular drinks are also NOT included in the 'all inclusive' package. If you want an Aperol Spritz, a Pina Colada, a Mau Tai, a Margarita then you also have to pay extra and if I recall correctly it is an additional 5 EUR for these drinks. One other to bring to notice. The resort is on a slope and there are numerous steps to go up and down for restaurant, bar, pool, reception etc. Where there are slopes they are on uneven stone slabs. I saw a couple of people with mobility issues having difficulties. The resort is graded as a 4 star and I suppose that or maybe 4- or 3+stars would be about right (if such a thing existed). It does not pretend to be something that is not. It's clean, food is very good, staff are nice, rooms are OK, pools are decent, can walk to go anywhere in town. Would I consider going back? Yes, I would. For the price I thought it was decent value for money.

We went from 28 May to 4 June. We arrived just before midnight and so were advised to go straight for something to eat and then we were shown to our rooms. Good points - the resort is spotless, I think I saw two items of litter the whole holiday. The food at the buffet was the best of any all inclusive hotel I have been to. Being able to eat at the a la carte restaurants was also a treat. We managed to eat at them all and our favourites were Mademi and Pithos. You can only book one day in advance so top tip is to download the app and at 7.30am bookings for the restaurants open for the following day. This way we got to try all of the restaurants and the food at them all was very impressive and beautifully presented. We weren’t a fan of the main pool which was very busy, Sun loungers were saved early on. But if you explore you will find a pool that suits you. We loved the Pithos Pool, there were always sun loungers available and at times we had the pool to ourselves. Other pools also had loungers available throughout the day. We also weren’t a fan of the beach which is more pebbles than sand and packed with sun loungers but we loved the spot by the sea next to the Medemi restaurant. We always managed to grab a sun lounger and the view of the sea was much prettier here. Great spot for snorkelling. The gyros bar by the main pool is worth a visit for chicken or pork in a pitta wrap with salad and fries. There is also a smoothie/juice bar and ice cream bar next door. The outdoor cinema was also great although we got bitten a lot by mosquitoes so wear protection. The tv in the room had Netflix and YouTube which was great for the day of bad weather we had during our stay. We did struggle to find shelter during a thunderstorm because the bar area was busy but in the original reception area opposite the Estia restaurant we discovered another indoor bar area with lots of seating. The entertainment is less visible than other resorts but I suspect it is just because the resort is so big. They are based by the pool near the water slides. We watched the circus show one evening and the Disney show, both were very good. The staff are all very friendly and clearly take pride in the resort. On one evening my daughter left her bag in a restaurant and as soon as we realised we went to reception and were very impressed that it had already been handed in. We also left a tv fire stick in our room. My husband emailed the hotel to ask for it to just be removed and destroyed. The hotel replied within a few hours to say they had retrieved the device and had posted it back to us. Assuming it arrives back we are very impressed by this level of service. Few ******s if we are being picky… We booked sea view rooms but were on the side of the hotel so had to stand at the edge of the balcony and turn our heads to see a little bit of sea, which was a little disappointing. We were only ever offered one drink with the buffet meals and even with the a la carte book
