Whispering Palms Hotel
3.8/510 Reviews
Well to begin with on tui recommendation we went to this hotel believing it to be 4/Star which it is not.it does not even rate a 2 star.most of the staff are polite some are not.my wife tripped over a raised threshold and fell to find a Male staff member standing watching her try to get to her feet and not even attempting to help.the rooms allotted to us room 107and 114and our friends where terrible and we insisted on a better room or we would insist on a move to another hotel.the food was adequate but mundane.whispering palms they should have called it SCREAMING HORMONES considering the Indian students staying there and taking over the pool area and the noise was so unacceptable we decided to go to the beach everyday to get away from the noise. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and we waited a year for this disaster of a 2week break.the students issue was annoying to say the least and I felt we had landed on a university campus. We and others staying here felt the management where catering for their Indian neighbours rather than the rest of us.i would never go to this hotel ever again and will be taking tui to task for this.our first week was a tour of indias golden triangle and was very good, only to be let down with this final 2 week fiasco considering this cost us a lot of money.if you are considering this hotel dont you'll be dissapointed.

Nyne Hotels - the Muse, Bentota
4.7/510 Reviews
The Muse property is cosy and private, ideal for couples or travelling with a baby or toddler. Having visited several times for weekend getaways and special occasions, we have our favourite terrace room. It is the perfect spot with its own balcony, sun bed and mini dining area facing the ocean. The Bentota beach is wide for long sunset walks. Like all Nyne properties, the food is simply divine, especially the Italian-inspired dishes and desserts. Service is on point, welcoming but not intrusive. We love the magical Muse and have never been disappointed!
Thaala Bentota

Breakfast is still good. But the room really feels that the price is very low. The room of 500 is shown below. Two 0.9-stitched beds, no place to put the suitcase, so moving out of the balcony can only say that the room is really small, the balcony to see is the picture is very scattered. This hotel is really lively, I feel very depressed, so I checked out after one night. In fact, Bentota has a lot of family-friendly B&Bs with good value for money. Generally, the breakfast is good for 250 packs. Come to Bentota and recommend staying at the B&B. This hotel is the second worst tourist in Lanka. There is no clothes to dry clothes. People who may live here do not wash clothes. It’s not good to go into the whole person. The swimming pool is a nice view and very close to the beach. This price is not recommended. Can be better.
Taj Bentota Resort & Spa
4.4/545 Reviews
Indian hotel service is not too warm, the environment is very good, the room is not big but very style, the lawn is very suitable for walking and leisure. The biggest problem is that the food is all Indian food and not used to it. The price is not cheap.
Cinnamon Bentota Beach - Signature Selection
4.3/58 Reviews
It's really a hard-to-describe experience. No wonder not many Chinese people stay here. The hotel belongs to a local chain hotel. Although it is rated 5 stars on Ctrip, the hotel walls are covered with tripadvisor sgs and other certifications, and it is a legacy designed by Bawa, but it is really disappointing after checking in. It happened to be a small peak when checking in. Several tour groups checked in at the same time, and the front desk seemed a bit busy. Fortunately, the passports and luggage were not messed up, and the room card was safely obtained. The hotel is a bit large, and the building where the front desk is located is really 5🌟. Bawa's skills were definitely epoch-making works 50 years ago. But as soon as you leave the main building of the hotel, it's like going to another hotel, and the sense of age hits you. Especially the lawn in the middle looks like a prison yard. The lawn is undecorated and bumpy. There are a few wild dogs wandering around. After entering the room, it's just okay, but compared with the main building, it's worth 3🌟 at most. But because it is very close to the sea, the ground on the second floor will also be damp for no reason. Although the hotel was renovated in 2019, the facilities in the room are also very illogical. There is only one empty power socket in the whole room, and the rest are plugged in lamps, kettles, TVs and other equipment. The switch of the ceiling light is very interesting. The switch on the left bed controls the light on the right bed. When I checked in, I also took my child to the children's playground, which is the kind of indoor children's playground in domestic shopping malls, but the maintenance inside is really not good. The most terrible thing is that no one cares even when the cover of the electric box is opened. If it were in the United States, it would have been sued for compensation. The food is not expensive, but the taste is not online. But to be honest, the waiters here are more local and down-to-earth, probably because most of the hotel guests are locals. There are less than 10 white and Asian people in the whole hotel who stay for breakfast. It is obviously different from anatara where I stayed before. There may be more European and American customers there, and the employees are used to tiptiptiptip for everything. Bentota is more sincere
