Batu Ferringhi Villas

It was a great experience staying in PARKROYAL Penang Resort. Greeted by their staff named Faisal and Shah at the entrance who assisted us to their waiting lounge. Served us with unique welcome drinks while waiting to be check in. The rooms are well maintained and the most important thing is.. it's clean. The housekeeping team did a great job too. Thumbs up to all the staff. Not to forget , the hotel location is surrounded by the street food and night market which is good for those who want to get a souvenir. Overall, am pleased with their tip top service. Well recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring the city together. We especially enjoyed the pool and fitness center. We highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and comfortable couples' getaway.

As always, this hotel never fails to impress me. Huge room with great views. Superb food service and excellent service from all the staff. Enjoyable pools for adults and children. Will definitely come again!

We stayed there for three nights with two connecting rooms with two children. The children enjoyed playing at the swimming pools for kids. However, the demarcation for the children's area to play is rather small and cramped, worse when smaller baby with parents joined in with their floats, this left the bigger children with standing and walking space.. It has two water slides at the storm area, is unexpectedly deep at the end of slides, my children play there only once, swallow some water and struggle to stay balanced and stand up. They sense the deep not worth the fun, and not going again, in fact, rarely got children playing at the water slides. We have a good view of sunset at the beach. The hotel is walking distance to nearby pasar malam in the evening, also many night activities in surrounding areas. We have the seafood dinner promotion at 1 for 1, it has good variety except no mud crab but with only the flower crabs, btw they are also of little meat. Overall, is a good 4-star hotel for families to stay..

Breakfast and evening cocktails selection has becoming less compared to years ago. Bed and pillow is not that comfy. However our overall stay is excellent. Kid loves the slide at the pool.

Hotel maintains its usual high standard with staff always make a smile to guests. Health club can accommodate sufficient guests with cool and dry towels. Pool is large with plenty of armchairs. Breakfast is of high standard with efficient staff clear up quickly. You may swim with a lizard but don't worry, he's cooling off for a while 😁 A small long tail black monkey may sit in your balcony😅 The only problem is room sound proof is bad, adjacent room guests were chatting loudly at 1am, I called front desk and they came up with the proposal of moving us to another room in the middle of the night! That shouldn't be the solution, if the guests are partying, are you moving all the others?

Love everything about Lone Pine. It has all i must have for a family beach stay. Nice location with lot of eateries in a walking distance alongside the road; quiet, simple yet elegant luxury hotel and bedroom setting; ample of outdoor space to stroll opens to beautiful garden and beach. Recommended.

Firstly the staff, they are all really lovely and cannot do enough for you. When we checked in we realised that we had accidentally booked the wrong week! But this wasn’t an issue as we were given a better room for the same price! In fact, we actually enjoyed our stay that much we ended up staying for 14 nights! The location is great, there’s plenty to do, lots of great cheap restaurants and the beach is less than a few minutes walk. Initially it was hard to find as it’s placed in an old shopping centre on the 2nd floor. We took the escalators but there is also a lift. Once you get inside, the secure front door the reception is modern and clean, 24hr help is always available and the rooms lock with a physical key. You get way more than you’d expect for the price. Modern clean rooms with refurbished en suite with rainfall shower. Hot water at all times and reliable WiFi. Tea and coffee 24/7 too! And breakfast everyday until 11am!! Every 3 days we got clean towels, fresh sheets and the room was cleaned. Some guests have complained about the noise from the charaoke which is on the same floor but our room was the closest to this and we were never kept up, the latest would could just about hear it was 23:30 but this was on a Saturday night! The only downsides, albeit small, were the lack of variety at breakfast, lack of natural light in the rooms due to the windows facing into the shopping centre so the curtains should be closed, and the WiFi was a bit slow, but only noticeable if streaming HD videos, for general web surfing it was more than capable! Overall me and my partner were very happy with our 2 weeks we spent here, we felt very safe and relaxed and you can’t argue with the price! It saved us a lot of money on our 6 month trip and was one our favourite place we stayed in Penang! Thank you once again, if we are ever in Malaysia again we will be sure to visit :)
