We have just returned home from a 10 night stay at the Callista. We had a great holiday at the Callista, the service we experienced is the best we have had and we have stayed in many of the luxury hotels in Turkiye including Barut and Rixos. The rooms were absolutely enormous and cleaned to a high standard everyday. It was great having so much space and not have to squeeze by our suitcases in the room everyday as so many of these hotels have small rooms. We had no problems getting sunloungers in the morning and the sunloungers were extremely comfortable. The pools were on the cold side and it was disappointing that the only heated pool was the small outdoor pool at the spa as towards the end of the holiday the other pools were just too cold to go in especially with a 4 year old. Again like the rooms the poolside was kept immaculate. The evening entertainment in the hotel was good, we saw a selection of shows including Michael Jackson and Moulin Rouge. The shows were all done to a very high standard. The pool bar also had a singer and band every night and at 10pm in the beach bar Charm there was a party night or dj most nights. Overall the entertainment was pretty good however I feel like the entertainment for children in the evening needs to be improved as not everyone wants to put their children into the kids club in the evening. Now the biggest negative of our holiday the food. We felt that the food really let the hotel down, the food seemed to be catered more for the Russian clientele and there was a lot of stew type dishes. There was a section of pizza and a great selection of salads however the food at the main section was extremely repetitive with almost the same thing being served the full 10 nights we were there. Overall we had a great holiday and would definitely come back in the future if the food was improved.

ONYOUR DREAMS HOTEL BELEK

A small, cute, cozy family hotel. Completely new, modern design, snow-white bed linen, lots of consumables, tea, coffee. I really liked that there was a professional hair dryer in the room. We took a standard room. The reception staff are very nice, they always come to help with any question, Olya is a nice girl who speaks Russian, the owner of the hotel kindly drove us back and forth to the beach. The next day we walked to the beach (45 minutes). When leaving, a free shuttle appeared (to the beach at 10:00, back at 19:00), we did not use it, but it is there. Breakfast is a weak link, but there is a wonderful store 101 nearby. If you want your own car - this is a great location, we had problems with taxis, the hotel is not on the map, mark the market - and then no problem. I repeat, the hotel staff tries very hard and always helps with everything. Wonderful clean pool, you can swim until night, new sun loungers

Tui Magic Life Belek

This was our third magic life hotel in the past 18 months and loved staying at this one. The hotel is well laid out and the food and service are both excellent. We enjoyed the 'relax pool' which meant we always had a bed and quiet space to, well, relax in. I also took part in plenty of the activities - these included: darts; boccia, shuffle board, beach tennis and volley ball and also a daily work out at 4pm in the fitness area. Thanks to so many of the entertainment team - especially Guney, Kiwi, Sarah and Oscar. I feel like I have left friends behind! We only had minor problems during our stay and the guest service team were always on hand to resolve very quickly or do their best to sort things out. Thanks all for a fantastic holiday and we hope to visit again soon - October in Turkey was certainly perfect from a weather point of view. Next stop though is Tui Magic Life Africana next April/May.
IQ Belek Resort

I have visited Turkey 3 times now, the last 2 times to different places but due to the pandemic they were closed so I selected the IQ Belek as it was all inclusive and as a solo female traveller it's generally better to be in this style resort. I arrived late at night, staff are in reception 24 7 so there was no issues. Lots of staff speak some English which was fabulous. I never expect anyone outside of England to speak English so this was a bonus. I was shown to my room and shown how to use my key card and the Aircon, which was a definite plus! It's an absolute essential, it's effective and nice and quiet too. The room, large real king-size bed, not twins stuck together. Lovely clean bedding and firm pillows. As is the tradition, there were thick cotton weaved blankets, trust me you don't need anything more, it's warm enough no duvet is required and once you find your ideal Aircon setting it's more than adequate. Bed was very comfortable and the curtains nice and thick so no light leaks. There is a mini fridge in the room and water is put in it every day for you. I selected what was described as a double for solo use, it was well sized with a little balcony that looked out over the amusement park behind. The bathroom was good, shower has a main shower head overhead and a shower attachment too. Ideal if you don't want a full on soaking. Toiletries provided in the room included soap, shower cap, shampoo conditioner and shower gel. Plenty of towels, 2 large bathsheets, 2 lare hand/hair towels and 2 smaller hand towels and slippers in a netted bag for use too. I was given a towel card, this is exchanged at the spa for a large blue beach/ pool towel. You can change them as you wish in the spa so if you want a fresh towel you just go to the spa and swap it for a clean towel. I visited the spa twice while I was there. Once for a Turkish foam massage and face massage and then again for a face shoulder massage and foot massage. Definitely an experience!! I slept like a log afterwards and my skin squeaked I was so clean! The cleaning staff visit every day and empty the bins and replenish any toiletries and remake your bed and give the room a sweep and wipe through. If you leave towels on the floor they are replaced. The room was fully cleaned a few times which on top of regular daily visits I think is more than enough. They visit around 11-1 each day. The restaurant exceeded my expectations. I visited out of season but it still provided a full service each meal time. Due to covid staff fill your plates for you with your selections. Breakfast has a mix of hot foods, some days including scrambled eggs, toasties, sausage mix, and then cold platters of cheeses meats and breads along with cereals and fruit. Lunch had a selection of around 6 hot dishes with accompanying rice and pasta and potato dishes, a full salad bar with dips and oils and sauces, fruits and then the most amazing cake bar I've ever seen. Evening meal again a selection of hot di
