Our check in was on a Saturday. Reception is not manned for weekend check ins - received a text with a code to the key safe at the front door which contained envelopes for guests checking in. The envelopes contained two sets of keys and fobs, plus instructions for parking and access. After parking the car we made our way to our unit on the fifth floor, using the fob. In the unit, was a well appointed kitchen, living room with dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and large screen TV. The bedroom had a king size bed and side tables, a two door wardrobe, and a small adjoining ensuite. The location of the Meridian Tower was excellent - across the road from the beach, and close to several restaurants and cafes.

The best one in Australia for more than a month, the invincible sea view, the kitchen weapons, the bed is not bad, although only live for two days, but I will not bother to live for a week, when you enter the house, you will feel full of relaxation.

Excellent location opposite Kirra Beach. Small pool and gym, close to restaurants and a short walk from Coolangatta. 5 mins drive from Coolangatta Airport apartment is clean. Stayed on a 2nd floor two bedroom apartment, comfortable beds with a very spacious balcony. Great cafe downstairs. Cable TV, Kitchen, Laundry. Recommend for the price it was fairly decent value for money in an area which can vary greatly in price and quality.

A crisp, white apartment but only one towel to last for the week. When I asked for additional I was told it was going to cost $10 per towel. Talk about disappointing. I have never stayed at a place that is so stingy! My daughter uses two towels when she showers, one for her body and one for her hair. We also had to use the towel to mop up the leaking shower. When I mentioned this they couldn't have cared less. With two Queensland Blokes running the show, it's no wonder they had no idea what the needs were of their guests. They told me ”You have a washing machine and dryer”. Yes but I am ON HOLIDAY do I want to be washing and drying every day, the short answer is NO. Again, did they care, nope, not an iota. The swimming pool looks lovely but its freezing cold so using that was out of the question. When we left I asked if we could stay another 30 minutes and depart at 10.30am. Their answer, (big sigh) I suppose so. Gosh, sorry, I have just stayed here for a week, paid you a big sum of money and that's a problem. When we left, we dropped the keys off and politely said ”goodbye”. In return, we got nothing from them, not even a ”we hope you enjoyed your stay”. We will never stay here again. If the vibe at Reception is bad then not much else is better with this type of accommodation. The only advantage to staying in Coolangatta is the closeness to the airport, the rest of it is a retirement village. You certainly wouldn't go here for the fun and entertainment that the Gold Coast can provide.

Yearly we holiday. This would have to be one of the best so far in the 10+ years we've been travelling to the Sunshine and Gold Coast. Our room had everything we needed and more. Beautiful beaches, plenty of shopping precincts nearby and great places to dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the pleasure of chatting with the Manager, Tina. She was very informative about what was around the area. Her pleasant manner and conversation was what added to us coming away with wonderful memories. We do hope to return again. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment facing the complex’s pool deck and beachfront reserve, and the view was wonderful all day. The apartment is clean, light and airy and has a large fully appointed kitchen, dining and living room, and a wide deep balcony. It is just so good kicking back in the patio chairs with floor to ceiling glass and thick aluminium extrusions all around you watching the passers-by on the beachfront cycleway, listening to the surf. The apartment has three separately controlled zones for ducted aircon and is super quiet. The main bedroom has walk-in wardrobes and a full size bath with turbojets. Don’t use too much bubble bath in there or else you could lose your partner in the suds. Our apartment also came with a basement car space and two sets of keys, so it was easy to come and go as we wished and do our own thing and also get some good rest.

Great views. We stayed on the 12th floor with a waterfront view and, as it was the humpback whale migration season, we were able to whale watch from our balcony. What an added bonus to our trip. TIP. Take binoculars to see these magnificent creature up close. The location is great for walking to Coolangatta or just a walk along the beach. There are enough good choices for good coffee and meals along the *****. It’s not far to Currumbin and the Wildlife Park by car and we had another bonus of there being The Swell Sculpture exhibition along the Currumbin beach and foreshore. I found the staff friendly and accomodating when booking and during our stay. The apartment was clean, fresh and had plenty of room and facilities with comfortable beds and pillows. Great for two couples as we had a full bathroom each. This is my third stay at Iconic Kirra Resort and I would, and have, recommended it to friends and family.
