the room was beautiful, tho its not as clean as i expected it to be... there's blood stain in the couch and window nooks. a lot of long hair strands in the carpet. i know they can do better. i still like the hotel, the shuttle service from hotel to train station is big help for guests. since there is no free bottled water on rooms, at least have a water dispenser on some floors. the breakfast is buffet but... sorry but its so bland. im not a picky eater but... its really disappointing. if you gonna ask me, if i will stay again on this hotel, probably not. 1000+ rmb for family room and the experience is just so so... sorry. ✌

My stay at Two MacDonnell Road definitely lived up to its reputation. Located in Mid-Levels, it's an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle; it was incredibly quiet at night, with no city noise from Central at all, allowing for a very comfortable sleep. The room was much more spacious than most Hong Kong hotels, laid out like an apartment with a small living area and a basic kitchenette. There was plenty of space to spread out my luggage, making for a very relaxing stay. The view was a definite highlight. From a high floor, the expansive city and greenery views were stunning, both day and night. The staff were also polite. However, there were clear downsides: transportation isn't very convenient. It's a bit of a distance from the MTR station, so getting around mainly relied on taxis or the shuttle bus, which could be a bit troublesome when returning at night. The soundproofing was also quite poor. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking peace and quiet, comfortable accommodation, and who aren't planning to rush through tourist sites every day. It's well-suited for business trips or short stays of a few days. If extreme convenience is your top priority, you might want to reconsider.

Facilities: Really quite good. The room size is considered large for a Hong Kong hotel. They don't provide bottled water, but there are water dispensers in the hallway where you can get drinking water anytime, which is very convenient. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, cleaned daily. Environment: Located at a crossroad with convenient transportation to the left, right, and opposite. It took about ten to fifteen minutes to walk there from Causeway Bay or Wan Chai with luggage, which felt a bit far. However, safety is definitely guaranteed. Service: The service attitude was excellent. When entering for breakfast, the staff politely helped us find a table. Unfinished plates were promptly cleared away. The breakfast selection was quite rich, with dishes, drinks, pastries, fruits, dairy products, etc., ensuring you could eat well and be full.

The room was spacious, fantastic, and very comfortable. However, the downstairs restaurant isn't as good as it used to be. The portions are much smaller, and a lot of the delicious items are no longer on the menu. It's the same old stuff; an updated menu would be great. The breakfast buffet was good and very suitable for kids, and the complimentary birthday cake from the hotel was also delicious.

1. The location is excellent. It's just a few minutes to the Science Museum and History Museum, and about 10 minutes to the Avenue of Stars. It's only one subway stop from West Kowloon, making immigration very convenient. There are many eateries near the hotel with reasonable prices, and the surrounding environment is quite pleasant, with a large plaza right downstairs. 2. The staff were polite and had a good service attitude. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and no deposit was required. 3. The room was clean and hygienic; I stayed for several nights and felt comfortable. The housekeeping auntie was very responsible. 4. Regarding online comments about the hotel facilities being a bit old, this is understandable given the hotel was built in the 90s and has a bit of a dated feel. Aside from the toilet flush button being a bit stiff and the water pipe connected to the toilet making some noise after each use, there were no major issues. In summary, this hotel offers one of the best value-for-money options in Tsim Sha Tsui.

A perfect experience! We originally booked a Deluxe Seaview King Room, but the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Seaview Suite and, as per our request, provided a twin-bedded suite. The lady who checked us in was very gentle, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. I can't sleep on soft pillows, and the Four Seasons has always remembered this, providing me with a firm pillow and proactively asking if I wanted to switch to a harder mattress – very thoughtful. The welcome amenities from the hotel were also very generous, including pineapple cake, pineapple buns, and milk tea cookies. My friend and I both agreed they were delicious. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh, and the grapes had just the right amount of sweetness; even as someone who doesn't like sweets, I ate a lot. The mini-bar in the suite was also complimentary, and my favorites were the chips and coconut juice. We also visited the Argo bar. Even on a Saturday night, it wasn't overly crowded, and the Hong Kong Punch was impressive. Our booking included breakfast, and we chose the à la carte restaurant. I loved the waffles and bircher muesli, and my friend highly praised the Japanese set meal she ordered. All in all, a perfect hotel and a perfect experience.

I used this hotel for a transit layover in Hong Kong. There's a shuttle bus to the hotel every 30 minutes or so from Shuttle Bus Stop #9 at Terminal 2. The ride takes about 5 minutes. The hotel is stylish, and my room only had a shower, no bathtub. Toiletries like toothbrushes and shampoo are provided. There's a pool on the 3rd floor, and on the 12th floor, there are stairs leading to the rooftop. The rooftop feels like a small gym or park, and there's even some grass that looks like you could play putting golf on it. However, it's too hot in the summer for any real training up there. It's convenient for its proximity to the airport, but there are no convenience stores or other shops nearby. Inside the hotel, there's only a vending machine, as shown in the picture.

I stayed in the Premier Seaview Room. It was newly renovated and came with a smart toilet. Although it didn't feel like the stated 45 square meters, the layout was cleverly designed. The toilet and shower room were completely separate and independent. Even though the toilet wasn't large, it featured a cleverly designed mini-washbasin, and both washbasins were equipped with wall-mounted hand soap dispensers, which was a thoughtful touch. The shower room had glass on two sides, and the Dyson hairdryer was conveniently placed on a small shelf. Despite the heavy rain in Hong Kong these past few days, the sea view was still quite nice. The large sofa by the window was very comfortable, and the wardrobe near the entrance, though seemingly small, had storage compartments, making it very practical. Compared to other luxury hotels in Hong Kong, this one offers good value for money.

It's rare to find a hotel with such spacious rooms and a reasonable price in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong. The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to Wan Chai MTR station. The staff service is good, and the rooms are very spacious. The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective; I woke up feeling hot in the middle of the night, and the AC fan was quite noisy. Everything else was great. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I recommend staying here.
