All is good except for the longer queue when checking- in and at breakfast. Maybe because of the holiday season that there are so many guests. I think they need to improve their system coz it really takes a longer time. Thank you for accommodating us.
I'm completely satisfied during our stay here. The essential twin room that we stayed in is far larger compared to other competitors, the room also has more life in it. Staff were all helpful and greets you everytime, it gives you a sense that you are always welcome. Location is very strategic but you have to walk 300-500 meters to reach Runway Manila if you're staying because of a NAIA T3 flight (this is it's only downside compared to Belmont) but a plus is you're staying in Newport City and it has plenty to offer.
The gym is also well equipped and it is located just adjacent to the hotel pool.
Breakfast Buffet is excellent. The taho station is a nice Pinoy touch for anyone returning to the country when they've been away for years.
Book this hotel if you want convenience and value for money.
I recommend this hotel especially for someone who prefers staying near NAIA airport. The staff are all professional and helpful. I arrived past 10pm already from travel and they accommodated me without any delays. The area is also safe compared to other places in Manila. There's a coffee shop nearby as well.
The housekeeping also makes sure I have my daily supply of water which I'm very grateful for, no need for me to call additional service for that.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
P.S please hug the guard sniffing dog for me. They are all well trained.
I get it, I booked a budget hotel and shouldn't really expect much. And I didn't. But was pleasantly surprised with how nice and courteous their staff were. From the security guards to the front desk clerks - they were all so pleasant and accommodating. Now for the ”bad” part: the check-in process was tedious! Granted it was New Year's eve and they probably were overbooked - but they really need to figure out a better system of booking. Tempers flared and voices raised! The Titas were not pleased! haha! Also, they could use some refurbishing: floor tiles literally taped (as in scotch taped!) on the floor! The desk in the room is wobbly and broken. My biggest beef though is this: I had my room cleaned thinking they would replenish the toiletries or at least keep the ones I partly used. Instead I returned to a room without toilet paper and they took out my used towel which was hanging on the rack (isn't it a universal rule that if you hang your towels, you intend to use it again?) so now, I'm left with just 1 (the extra) towel. I mean, why remove the toilet paper?! If they were not going to replace it with a fresh, new roll, at least leave whatever was left from the previous day! It really took them more time, energy and effort to remove what was there - which I barely touched, by the way. Just seemed odd! Also, the breakfast buffet, while quite affordable at P450 per person, is really not that exciting. You're better off going to the Jollibee next door or get one of those microwaveable meals from 7-11 (also at the ground floor). Checking out was quicker, except for the super long wait for elevators!
We stayed at the Grand Westside Hotel as a family of four in two connecting rooms, and overall, it was excellent value for money. Since the rooms are brand new, the space felt fresh and modern, and we especially enjoyed the great breakfast selection. However, we did notice a few small things that could be improved. There was a stain on the corner wall near the window, our table was quite uneven, and we noticed there were no bathrobes or an alarm clock provided. We also had some trouble reaching the staff, as no one answered the front desk phone between 9:40 AM and 11:30 AM. Despite these minor ”punchlist” items, it was a comfortable stay for our family, and we’d definitely recommend it for the price and the quality of the rooms. I loved the logo too, placing it on their walls and accessories, gave it a touch of premiumness. Additional couch/stools around the lobby can also improve the overall feel.
This has been my go-to hotel in Makati. You get 5 star facilities and more for the price of a four star hotel. Plus, the location is also great as well since this is located in between two major thoroughfares, Kalayaan avenue and Makati Avenue. The only thing I say that needs improvement is the breakfast selection.
The location is perfect for SM Aura or High Street or Uptown, very walkable! The bureau of immigration is also inside SM Aura office building. The staff told me if you chose 1 person to stay, you'd get a queen bed. but if you chose 2 people, you'd get a single and a double bed. So just choose 1 person next time to save some money! The room is very decent and it has everything, but the type of AC they use can be loud but it didn't really bother me.
stayed for just one night and overall the experience was positive. The location is convenient — about 15 minutes from the airport without much traffic — and the room was quiet. The windows could not be opened, but the temperature remained comfortable even with the air conditioning turned off, as the unit itself is quite noisy.
The room was spacious and modern, which I really appreciated. However, cleanliness is an aspect that clearly needs attention. I am attaching photos, as it is easier to understand: the floor did not seem properly cleaned, there were stains on the shower floor that could likely be removed with the right product, fingerprints on the TV, marks on the mirror, and the glass surfaces were not clear. The bedsheets also had visible stains, which was disappointing.
The hotel has good potential thanks to its convenient location and modern rooms, but housekeeping standards should be improved. I did not try breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

Perfect location for Poblacion or Glorietta Malls! The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was surprised how the room is like a regular studio apartment with kitchen area (microwave, induction stove and stuff) but is actually a full fledged hotel.

We chose to stay here for one night because of the good reviews. The location is convenient, the check-in process was smooth, and the staff provided good service. The buffet was okay. We enjoy staying in hotels, but I don’t usually leave reviews, however, this experience stood out. This is the first high-rated hotel I’ve stayed at that charged ₱150 for the use of a plate, spoon, and fork (per set). The room itself was average. It was big and spacious, but it felt like it hadn’t been used in a while. The furniture and fixtures looked worn out and could use some updating. The bathroom, in particular, was unpleasant. It didn’t smell when we first entered the room, but after using it, there was a noticeable odor that lingered. There didn’t seem to be proper ventilation or any odor control to address this issue. We also encountered a lot of mosquitoes inside the bathroom, which made our stay uncomfortable especially since we have a child and dengue is very prevalent this season. Would definitely say that their room rates did not match what could be their rating standards.

MMhike BravoVery comfortable and clean room to stay. But I don't want the front desk agent attitude! They are all not accommodating! Kudos to the doorman who always greet me.
SShenlan314Overall, it's pretty good, though the value for money is just average. I was a bit hesitant to book after reading some reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I expected once I checked in. The breakfast was decent too.
**Facilities:** There are 6 elevators, making it convenient to go up and down. The hotel is highly automated with modern technology.
**Cleanliness:** Typical Philippines style – a moldy smell, poorly maintained, and the sheets looked dirty. (This is a common issue in many places here, so I'm not surprised).
**Environment:** Although it's close to the airport, there wasn't much noise in my room.
**Service:** The check-in process was inefficient. There were only two customers in front of me and two staff members, but I waited for almost 20 minutes (this aligns with what other reviews said). However, I wasn't asked for a deposit upon check-in, and check-out was quick – just handed in the card.
MMiranda and Purag TravelThis was my third stay at The Bayview, and once again it didn’t disappoint. My room on the 11th floor offered a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset—truly the highlight of my stay. The Christmas decorations around the property added a beautiful, festive atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast featured delicious Filipino food along with great coffee. Transportation was easy, as taxis and Grab rides were readily available after checkout. The guard and hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Another wonderful stay!❤️💪

GGuest UserThe place itself is good, but transportation is a big issue. During our 2-night stay, it was the rainy season, and getting around was very difficult. We asked the guard if they could call a taxi or help book a Grab, but they said none were available, which was not helpful at all.
We chose this place because it was advertised as being near BGC, but we couldn’t even go out during our stay due to the lack of transportation and the inability to book rides online.
The management should consider providing a shuttle service for guests, especially during bad weather, to improve the overall experience.
AAnonymous UserWe had a great experience during our stay. The room was very spacious and comforting, which made it easy to relax. The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, so it felt peaceful throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the pool – very clean and well-maintained. The location is also very convenient, close to everything we needed. The only downside was that the TV in the room wasn’t a smart TV. It would be great if the hotel considers upgrading this in the future to enhance the in-room entertainment experience. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay – would definitely return!
