I requested an ocean-view room, but my English wasn't good enough to explain it properly. I was disappointed when I got a room on the opposite side of the sea. However, they put me on a high floor, and I could see the World Heritage site from my window, which was amazing! 😊 Although it felt a bit old, that added to its historical charm. It was clean everywhere, and the breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. I made some wonderful memories there.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lub d Manila Makati. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-organized for our short trip. The quality of the bed was really great the mattress and pillows were soft, which gave us a relaxing and restful night's sleep. Having a working mini refrigerator in the room was super convenient for keeping our drinks cold. They also provided clean drinking water, which was very helpful. The bathroom was spotless, and the hot water in the shower worked perfectly with good water pressure every time. Overall, it was a great experience with complete basic amenities.

We booked a Fort King Suite for a celebration. Here's what stood out: The positive feedback: Ground floor staff and the security team were warm and welcoming. Housekeepers were kind and helpful, though they didn't replace our toothbrushes and slippers during cleaning. Not a huge issue, but should be a standard for a 4-star hotel. Food was great, and the breakfast buffet trainees/new hire outshined everyone—they actively greeted and assisted us while old staff just stood by watching. The negative part: No welcome chocolates at check-in despite what was advertised for the room type booked. The AC had weak airflow even at max settings and was leaking; the maintenance guy tried but failed—same airflow as before. We then asked a lady housekeeper for help, and she managed to fix the issue, which was unexpected since maintenance should have been the one to handle it. But it eventually returned to its original weak airflow after an hour or two. We decided to let it go rather than ruin our trip. The real problem occurred from the 3rd floor and 5th floor—it felt hostile. One non-straight/fruity guy receptionist rolled his eyes when I smiled at him and a female colleague glared at me then looked away. Most staff looked miserable. I could sense that there is some kind of feud among the staff that is affecting their behavior, because I saw them gossiping with each other while they were on duty. They're either gossiping about their colleagues or about other guests, and it's very off-putting. It ruins the vibe and is not very professional. This must be stopped. Most of them will just ignore you when there’s less guests around, but if there are too many guests around, only then will they perform their duties and show hospitality. I've stayed at many 4–5 star hotels; this was my worst 4-star experience. I would not mind if the property were in bad condition—you could have saved the reputation by being kind and warm to your guests. Instead, the negative energy made the experience even worse. Wish I'd trusted those bad reviews. To management: Retrain your old employees. The new hires remember what hospitality means; your tenured staff don't. Thanks to ground floor staff, guards, security dogs, housekeepers, trainees/new hires, and kitchen crew—you saved this stay from being a total loss. Hope that 3rd floor reception team learns basic courtesy and hospitality from you.

Nice hotel. Stayed in premier king room and very satisfied because the room has been updated and looks and feels fantastic Nice big sized room Ordered room service and there was nice Malaysian food menu and the food was awesome In a neighborhood that has restaurants, cafes everywhere all within walking I would recommend the management to update or upgrade the reception area because it would make the hotel look better The reception lobby is First Impression, however currently it doesn't correspond to the quality of the room.

My recent stay at this hotel was a big improvement. There's security at the entrance, it's easy to get a taxi, and the staff are very polite and patient. Just one minor complaint: the coffee machine at breakfast, all three coffee options tasted exactly the same. I suspect the pipes might be incorrectly connected. The management should really look into that.

I cannot count how many times we checked in to kingsford. This is our go to hotel. Whenever we feel the want to relax we book our stay here.People and service here are superb. They also respond quickly to emails. I just wish they have this loyalty card for us who frequently book a stay here.

The room we stayed was very spacious but very poor internet connection. Even if you bring own coffee or tea, there are no kettle to boil hot water. You have to go downstairs or request it to bring it up to your room, not convenient if you have seniors with you. No mini refrigerator so we place our liquid milk to their kitchen. towels and linens are old but clean. Our room is along Edsa, so if you are a light sleeper, not recommended but for me its OK. They offer breakfast buffet, limited options but there are so many food shops outside the hotel so finding food is not a problem. Staffs are all polite and very accommodating.

Budget hotel Positive: Comfortable Room & Excellent Housekeeping: Overall, my stay in the hotel room was very pleasant. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team—they did a fantastic job keeping the room spotlessly clean, fresh, and well-stocked throughout my stay. Their hard work and warm attitude truly made a difference! Areas for Improvement: Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was quite disappointing. The food felt cheap, with poor quality, limited food available and low-grade ingredients. That said, considering the hotel's very affordable rates, a basic breakfast is somewhat understandable, but a slight upgrade in food quality would go a long way. Pool Maintenance: The swimming pool area was not well maintained and could definitely use more regular cleaning and care to make it enjoyable for guests.

The location is great and very convenient, but the overall condition of the property was a bit disappointing. It looks more run-down in person than it does in the photos posted online. Due to certain circumstances related to the hotel, I had to check out earlier than planned. On the positive side, the hotel offers luggage services and extended checkout, which are definite pluses. The management is approachable and willing to discuss concerns when problems arise; however, the effectiveness of the solutions provided is questionable. For travelers visiting the country, this is something worth considering when deciding where to stay. I believe this property has great potential. With proper maintenance, renovations, and better problem resolution, it could become an excellent place to stay in the future.

We stayed at hotel for 4 nights to celebrate my husband's birthday. Hotel really heard my wish and decorated the room in advance and birthday cake. We really appreciated it. Buffet breakfast is more on European style breakfast which we love it very much.
