5-Star Hotels in Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We have been to many hotels in Abu Dhabi and I must say that Marriott Downtown is byfar our favorite and have been going there everytime we go to Abu Dhabi now. They have great food, attentive and curtious staff. From the housekeeping to the restaurants and to the Lounge! Miss George, Osama, Michelle, Christian, too bad I cannot name everyone here! Can't wait to go back:-)

Cleanliness and condition of the room was impeccable. Modern decor with automated curtains that opened up to a stunning view and a large balcony. Bath tub and shower was perfect. Large variety of high quality food for buffet breakfast. Service from the breakfast restaurant and at the hotel reception was 5 star. Location was exclusive and beach view was superb but quite far out from the city centre. Temperature controlled pool was such a luxury. Private beach area is very small, service at the poolside was hit and miss.

Very good, nice sized hotel. Excellent pool area with heated outside pool. Great to have direct access to the private beach. All the staff were really helpful and friendly but particularly Binot on the concierge desk. Disappointing that the main Jing restaurant does not offer its full range of international food or its oriental buffet during Ramadan. Yas Shuttle bus is really useful but be warned of unscheduled hour long breaks (usually 6pm/7pm ish during Ramadan. Overall a good experience and we would come back.

I stayed for 4 nights with my family i would definitely recommend this hotel i would say it is 10/10 no fault always happy to help room was very clean spacious and comfortable breakfast was very nice loads of variety to offer its guests also the swimming pool and other facilities were very nice and clean overall very happy would definitely come back for any future trips.

Everything was great! We also had a good rest at the hotel on the roof in the pool, where caring excellent staff, especially the cool Ishan Anuradha, helped both in the gym and in the pool, and gave disposable tableware, generally a great person! Хорошо отдохнули и в отеле на крыше в бассейне, там заботливый отличный персонал особенно классный Ishan Anuradha он и в тренажёрном зале помог, и в бассейне, и дал одноразовую посуду, вообще отличный парень!

Great view from bed and from the bath tub. Can see the presidential palace. It’s great to see the sunset in the room. Nice and quick reception. Early check in which is very helpful. Good selection of restaurants and the dishes are not over-priced. Very friendly staff. Free visit to the 300m observation deck.

The general manager of the hotel, Philistine Kharbouch, was always present and you can see his passion for maintaining the highest quality of the place. The staff that attends this hotel in all its departments knows exactly how to serve a guest well. They are always willing to help and provide comfort and convenience to the guest. Theri attitude to serve is your best ally. Congratulations. On the other hand, the location of the Hotel and its cleanliness are two additional positive factors that incline the preference for this Hotel. I will gladly return to this Hotel and highly recommend it. Finally, I would like to highlight the breakfast service, especially Krichelle, Hasna, Alwyn, Sheron, Chane and the entire team, they were very kind. Thank you.

Long time since I have been impressed with an hotel. From the architecture of the building , the rooms design , the details in the rooms - feather mattress soft top , the HK touches , the special smell of the AC and soap bar , the bidet towel , etc etc but above all the well trained staff all over the hotel , from all staff at the concierge , Julia at Oak , the library SA lady , the doormen , the pool attendant , Zahara etc . Chapeau all for a good job done ! My only negative experience was having many kids at the pool running and shouting breaking the peaceful atmosphere but that’s more a parent issue than the hotels . Maybe the hotel should consider being Adults Only :) And missing an executive lounge which would be perfect at the 1st floor where the wading pond is located Thanks All !

Four time staying and we absolutely love this hotel. From the moment you step outside the hotel you get service which is amazing. Breakfast spread is always top notch and rooms are always clean and great sleep. Highly recommend.

W Hotel is one of the nicest hotels in Abu Dhabi and the architecture of it is stunning, the food options and drinks are great as well, the rooms are big as well. The only downside of the stay was that the hotel is next to a race track and the noise is too much 😅

I stayed this resort at 2016, there are many good memories and fun times, we joined activities each as falcon show, dune drive, which no places and local tours can provide the good experience like this. So I book again for my 2nd visit. However hotels was closed because of some reasons. At the beginning we disappointed. Hotels finally provided another resort for us in Sir Yas Island, the experience there are also great! That's give my family a memorable moments. Thanks for kind arrangement Anantara team!

The hotel is particularly good, no matter the key to the hotel or the hotel facilities, it is just too far away from Dubai. I am doing a Dubai tour. Because there are guests living in Xi'er Island, I chose a surrounding hotel to pick up the next day. The hotel is about a hundred rooms, all of which are beautiful sea view rooms. You can swim at the beach, have your own open-air swimming pool, have a gym, have a small garden, and breakfast is good.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a Seaview room which we really appreciated. However, I can't say it's exactly 5 stars yet, as someone who has been to five star hotels across 4 countries, there are certain stuff missing such a complimentary robes and slippers, toothbrushes etc, but of course the hotel is still fairly new and will probably improve over time. Cons during our stay: -There was construction there and the exits to the beach were closed. - There wasn't any buffet dinner the 1st few nights, they kept pushing out the time for dinner as they were hosting a soccer team and the buffet was planned accordingly to their timing, usually past 9.30pm which was too late. - The lunch and dinner menu is still fairly small. - The soccer team (young guys) were quite noisy at early parts of the morning in the outside breakfast area which was just outside our window. - The buffet dinner on Christmas day was absolutely small. - No bathtub in room and could not see which room had a tub listed online as it just mentioned '' shower or tub''. - Gym is extremely small. Pros: -Beautiful sea view. - Located in a Quiet and peaceful environment. - Lulu supermarket located just outside the hotel which makes it convenient. - Rooms had mini kitchen with cutlery and pots etc, washing machine and microwave, fridge etc, which was nice. - House keeping was available on request at any time. - House keeping staff were very friendly. - Security guard was very helpful and friendly. - We could have a small barbecue on the beach at late hours of the night. - Plenty parking. - Sea view room had a balcony. - Hotel provided a mini needle and cotton set which I found unusual and cute, definitely not something I've seen at other hotels. Overall the place has an amazing view, and I'm sure will improve as they develop and get more tourists. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

The overall experience was average and the price-performance ratio was not high. We were trapped by the wind and waves and were forced to stay one extra night. Although we stayed at a discount for the second night, it seriously affected my itinerary. As a result, all plans in Abu Dhabi were disrupted, and there was no time to go to the Abraham House. Only the next day did we find out that a guest had left by boat that day. We paid money to check in when our itinerary was affected, and we immediately felt that we were not being treated fairly. The manager is quite service-minded. He helped me communicate and cancel my booking at the hotel I originally booked. He also made me feel professionally that the room rate for my next stay was much more favorable than others. Finally, I would like to thank Ctrip for helping me deal with my situation. He said that it helped me recover some losses. In the future, I would choose Ctrip for all my travels!

The Anatara Desert Hotel in Abu Dhabi, which was originally booked, was temporarily requisitioned by the royal family and forced me to cancel the order. Fortunately, Ctrip subsidized me, I found Anantara on the island of Sabania, the result is worthwhile, almost the same as the desert hotel, feeling playability or Sabania high!

My stay here was excellent. I traveled alone as a single western woman, had a safe and pleasant experience. The hotel is very clean, highly professional, the services are easy to access (cafes, restaurant, spa, pool, and gym are all top notch). The room was spacious, clean, I booked the classic executive suite with kitchen but no cooking facilities. I brought my own induction cook top and groceries, which was great. The kitchen was really big and able to accommodate big meals and small snacks. The bathroom was great, very spacious with a luxurious bathtub and separate shower stall. The best thing about the place was the customer service. I have 11 packages sent to myself from Amazon, and Yunip the concierge was gracious to hold all the packages for me until I arrived. Extra shoutout to him -- thank you! The reception service was also great, they were able to accommodate my late check out. Everything was perfect, will return again soon. Thankyou!

The hotel is super quite and clean. A bit far away from the centre but there is a mall next to it that has everything. Recommend.

This hotel came with the recommendation of our local HR Department. Being an experienced business traveller I have high standards and can see beyond the initial wow factors. There was external renovation being completed at the time but hotel cannot be criticised for that. Good view of the mountains and pool from 4th floor room. Quite a lot of families at the pool but careful observation and picking quieter times was easy to do. I now know that for guest picking suites or villas there is a separate, quieter pool. Trader Vics is a feature, as is the downstairs bar. Drinks are good value. Food a little on the expensive side. The key feature for me was the service from staff. Excellent. Will always go the extra mile.

It is a nice hotel of the Danat chain, hotels of this chain guarantee they do not disappoint you. But the biggest weak point of this hotel is the room is not noise proof at all. This place is family friendly considering its nice pool area, and the very reason makes this hotel super noisy. It felt like I was sharing a room with a whole family. Still, this hotel is nice in that its staff are very nice and accommodating, its pool area is nice and spacious. It is small but clean, and I liked its balcony too -- you can see Jebel Haffeet snaky road from afar. Its worth the money.
