A relatively old hotel that has most of the amenities that one might expect. The room is relatively clean. The door requires old-school key to enter (which is attached to a golf ball) so you might want to leave it behind at the hotel reception each time you head out if you do not have the pocket for it. Breakfast is the typical continental European stuff, so nothing exciting to write home about. You could always skip breakfast at the hotel and head to the old part of Prato for breakfast at a cafe instead. It is about 10-15 minutes walk. Having said that, the hotel breakfast is decent, so make your decision according to your personal requirement/preference. The main gripe I had was that the powerpoint in my room (not sure about other rooms) was of the smaller holes instead of the larger standard European holes. Those who have been around Italy would know what I'm talking about. Basically there is the old Italian powerpoint which look almost exactly the same as the current standard European powerpoint with the two round holes, except they are smaller than the current standard size. So keep this in mind.

PERSONALE cortese e professionale.

A very tired hotel. The rooms are shabby, smoky, although I indicated a non-smoking room. Breakfast is a C grade. If it weren’t for the croissants, then you can safely give it a two. The cleaning leaves much to be desired, the dust in the room is not wiped off at all. I’ve been living in this hotel for several years now. -for the convenient location to the railway station.

It cannot be called a 4 star if the cleaning is poor to say the least. As soon as my son entered the room he found a hair on the bed, I went to flush the toilet and the lid fell on my feet, the inside of the shower was full of dust that had accumulated for months and finally (shame I didn't take a photo) the roof near the air conditioner vent was the color of soot. Not to mention the obstacle jumping we had to do in the morning to get out of the room. No it is definitely NOT a 4 star.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, typical continental breakfast but with lots of choice and some hot options too which was nice. Rooms facing the road are a little noisy but that's not the fault of the hotel. Nothing some ear plugs didn't fix! Would definitely stay again.
