Inuyama Homestays

This is the second and last time I have stayed at a hotel, as I have not been able to travel this year. Inuyama is about an hour by car or train from my home, and I have been there several times before. There are several hotels with similar grades and rates around Inuyama Station, but I chose this one because the website clearly states that ”parking before check-in and after check-out, and luggage storage is available” (other hotels maybe a hotel). I went by car, but it is about a 5-minute walk from the station and a 15-minute walk to Inuyama Castle. The room is not that big or new, but it was clean and there was no shortage of facilities and equipment. We had a plan with breakfast, but the content was satisfactory. There are many restaurants on Honmachi Street, which extends south from Inuyama Castle, but most of them are for tourists and are not open at night, so we decided to have dinner at an izakaya-like restaurant near the station.

If you walk less than 10 minutes along the Kiso River from Inuyama Yuen Station, you will arrive at the hotel and you will see Inuyama Castle on the mountain behind the building. I ate breakfast at the restaurant, but I don't know if it was because of a platinum member, but it was crowded, but he guided me to the back window side. The hotel locates just next to the train station, it is extremely convenient. The staff is very helpful, they help my brother bring our luggages to the station when we all gone for shopping. The facility is very new, the noise reduction function of the windows are perfect. It is so quiet even our rooms are jut next to the train rails. One point needs to appreciate is the basket for towels, it is so well prepared and detail minded that I just need to pick it up and then can go to the hot spring directly. I particularly enjoy the resting room at the public hot spring area. The environment is clean, tidy and relax. For the breakfast, the type of food is just enough, not too many and not too few. The quality is good in general. Just one suggestion for improvement, please provide a weight machine for luggages. It will be more convenient for the shoping lovers like us to check if our luggages are overweight. Please kindly consider.

A very ordinary business hotel. Depending on your accommodation plan, you may receive an energy drink.・There is a charge for breakfast (900 yen), but the quantity is sufficient for breakfast.・If you stay in a room on the west side, it will be hot especially in the summer because the afternoon sun comes in. However, depending on the time on weekdays, you may be able to see scenes of Self-Defense Force aircraft landing.・There are convenience stores and pubs within a 3-minute walk. -The parking lot is not very large, with only about 10 spaces, so if you check in late, you will need to park at a coin parking lot a little further away.

The Japanese-style room is not very big, but it is very clean, with full bathing facilities, and comfortable! Very cost-effective! We store luggage for free on the day of departure, and take the initiative to take us to JR station for free when we return to pick up our luggage. Thank you so much!

We stayed here the day before going to Meiji Village. Unfortunately, it was drizzling on the day of our stay, but from our room we could see several people standing in boats fishing on the enormous Iruka Pond. The next morning, the sky was clear and the mirror-like view on the lake's surface was amazing. Dinner was brought to us one dish at a time and was delicious. We were grateful for the kind words and thoughtfulness of the staff. The bath was also good. The only drawback was that the toilet in the room was small. Thank you to all the staff.
