21C Museum Hotel Cincinnati

I am writing this review from the hotel lobby at 12:11am. I dropped my bags off at 2pm and was given a luggage tag and told my room would be ready shortly. I was told I would be called when my room was ready. It was confirmed and there was no question that I was here and ready to check in. I went on with my planned activities including my dinner plans and now coming back to the hotel have been told they have no room for me. I have never ever had such an experience. They have offered to relocate me to a hotel outside If Cincinnati. This was a quick vacation trip totally ruined by this hotel experience. Under no circumstances will I ever book this hotel chain again. They massively overbooked and have relocated many guests. I have been told on the side by a sympathetic employee that this is standard procedure. NEVER BOOK 21C!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Fairfield on our way home from Florida. The hotel is being renovated now. The lobby and room that's used for the complementary breakfast are very nice and modern. The breakfast itself was very good - lots of choices and everything was fresh. The room we had was small but very comfortable. The bathroom seems to have been recently renovated and was very nice. The furniture in the room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The bed was VERY comfortable. We would definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

A new hotel with modern design, a pleasant surprise. The rooms are large and the facilities are beautiful and reasonable. The restaurant is also very beautiful and the food is delicious 😋 An unforgettable and comfortable experience! highly recommended!

Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza

In the city centre, parking is charged. It can be seen that the hotel has been positioned high-end in the past, but as time goes by, the facilities are old and no longer the style of the year. The service is OK, there are a lot of people downstairs.

First of all, I wasn't even going to write this review. BUT... I got the email from Comfort Suites/Choice Hotels asking for feedback.... and when I kept trying to leave this review, it would not let me! Maybe an algroithm prevents me from leaving the bad review. So... here is what I tried to leave as my review on their feedback form: ***We have stayed in several hotel this summer across the Midwest and mid Atlantic states. And... this one was the worst. But this was the location we needed. The good: Coffee! 1. Very good coffee available 24 hours in the lobby. 2. The mattress was comfortable. The Bad: Everything Else. :-( A. Workers moving a safe using a luggage cart when we arrived. (I don’t know if we used the same luggage cart, but the cart we used had a flat tire and did not roll. B. Had to sign up for a 40 minute time slot to swim, (covid) but when we arrived, they were only two people there... and the door knob to the pool area is broken and when we left the pool area we saw people from the neighborhood going in the back door to the pool area I guess to swim?? They had suits on and towels. Also, jacuzzi (hot tub) was closed? Holiday Inn Express in Ironton hot tub was open in July.) C. Very dirty room. I bumped the plastic cover on the air-conditioning and it fell right off and the inside was caked with mold. Gross! Dirt/dust on floor. D. The air-conditioning unit fan kept shutting off. We like constant fan noise all night for background white noise. E. No fruit at breakfast. Could have had cereal and fruit and milk. But the only thing was muffins. (Muffins are a fancy word for cake.) Our family got three muffins and went back to get another one and a huge group of kids came to the lobby and took all of the muffins. They were loud kids and sort of rude. other hotels we have been to the Summer had served grab bags of meals to go, or cereal and fruit, and a Holiday Inn express we stayed at even had a hot breakfast made to order from the lady working. So..... Mostly, this place needs Deep cleaned. If we have to go back for business, I’m going to try the Hampton Inn across the street. This was not an acceptable stay. Sorry
