We had a wonderful experience with the Guisu property for an 8-day stay. For a group of 5, this was much more convenient and cost-effective than having to book separate hotel rooms. I booked this room for my family, who was visiting China for the first time. Communicating with the host was very easy, and they responded very fast to any inquiry, sending over items, such as house slippers, within minutes upon request. Our communication was all in Chinese, so it may be helpful to have someone familiar with the language. What my family liked most about Guisu was that they felt like they were immersed in the city, experiencing the real life of a Chinese neighborhood, which a hotel may not be able to provide. The property was next to an elementary school, and while we were woken up each day by the sound of the children, it was nevertheless a pleasant, authentic, experience. The amenities and facilities all worked well, and the kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils. Even if you are not cooking yourself, it is convenient to have all of this on hand. I would certainly recommend Guisu Homestay to other friends visiting Shanghai. The location near West Nanjing Road made it easy to walk everywhere, such as to People's Square or nearby parks. It is also close enough to the metro station, for a quick ride to other popular areas or train stations.

This was a great find. We stayed here with two adults and an 8 and 6 year old. Mostly we were impressed with the service and how quick the owner was to respond to our needs. We enjoyed the area and the 10 min walk to the subway passed a few good eateries though it was a little outside downtown. Warning! Don't try to take a cab during rush hour. Take the subway or walk it! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, near many restaurants and walking distance to iAPM, Huaihai Road, 3 MRT stations - Shanxi Road, Ruijin Road, Jiashan Road MRT stations. Also short distance by Didi rides to Xujiahui, Nanjing Road and Zhongshan Park. Recommend this for couples and families.

i extended my stay at this hotel again, unfortunately the service has become worse and worse. cleaning service is very inconsistent. each day when i leave, i remind them to clean the room and today is the second day that the room hasn’t been cleaned. when the room is cleaned, toiletries such as handwashing soap, shampoo and body wash are not replenished. even more basic things such as toilet paper are seldom replaced. extremely disappointed.

The room is very clean and tidy, and the heating is very comfortable even in winter. It saved my life when it was below zero, and it is also very close to Disney! This is the key point. The shuttle bus is also very convenient. Don’t wait for a long time after taking a taxi after playing Disneyland. Now it is very comfortable to have a shuttle bus. The most important thing is that I left some things and the owner of the B&B found them. And send it back for me! Very nice people!

Here really was a wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for a private apartment with not so far from all the attraction spots. Most of famous attractions are just 2-3 train stations away or walkable. Staffs are really nice. They can speak both English and Chinese fluently. Really recommend this place.

Wow, we have stayed in many accommodations and this is the best one ever! 10 stars! The hosts came running to our taxi to greet us, to bring our bags all along to the homestay. Not only is the homestay strategically located, it was clean, cozy, filled with thoughtful amenities and wonderful for picture taking, the accommodating hosts made all the difference - they gave us recommendations and directions, plus helped us book our rides too. Keep up the amazing work!

As soon as I arrived at the B&B, the exterior design of the entire B&B was very cute and beautiful, and the design of the room was also very good! The landlady and the landlady were very warm, gentle and attentive. They introduced the surrounding areas and the boss helped us carry our luggage. The room is relatively clean. I touched the corners and found no dust. I smelled various fabrics and there was no odor. The towels and bath towels in the room are provided for disposable use. Children like TV screen projection very much. There is also a special pick-up and drop-off when going to Disney, which is more considerate. Overall, I highly recommend this B&B.

A disappointing experience. I booked a room with a bathtub just for the bathtub. However, I checked in at 6pm and the boss informed me that I needed to upgrade the room. The reason was that many people in the bathtub room were dissatisfied with the bugs, so they removed the bugs, but there was no way to cure them, so I gave it to them. I changed it and I understand it. Then I still want to take a look. The boss said that the room card has not been pulled out yet, and he said that the card has not been hung out. In short, I can’t see the room now. I went to the hotel and waited for the phone call. I went into the room, went out to eat, came back, and went out for more than an hour. There was no one at the front desk, and there was only one bath towel in the room. I called the boss twice in total, but he didn’t answer the third call. I originally wanted to check out, but I thought it was troublesome so I just let it go. Forget these emotional discomforts, the musty smell in the room was a bit strong. Later, when I got rhinitis, I couldn't smell it anymore. When I woke up in the morning, I still smelled a musty smell. Then the rhinitis continued to attack. Overall, I was quite disappointed. If it weren't for the bathtub, it would really be inferior to a hotel at this price. Of course, the boss also gave us an upgrade. Because my friend arrived at the hotel early in the morning, we wanted to delay check-out. The boss asked us to wait until two o'clock. Unfortunately, the aunt knocked on the door at 12:30 and still didn't sleep well. All the floors in the community are so close to each other
