Seoul Hostels

Location is good, about 5 to 10 mins walk away from Dongmyo station and tons of buses to everywhere at the nearby bus stops. Along the way there are a lot of shops and in the morning there's a flea market next door. Check them out. Super worth it. Hotel cleanliness can be improved. The room we stayed in doesn't have a water hose/bidet and it's difficult to clean ourselves. Toilet doors are translucent which is bad, no privacy. Also, better think of a way to rearrange the bed because too close to the toilet and it can stink if you passed motion. Would be great if the rooftop is managed. More activity can be done there. Nevertheless, with the priced paid, all is good.

Good location within the shopping and night market, near to subway and easy to catch taxi . Hotel is clean and staff are friendly . It just the room is small . Overall are very good , for first timer visit to Korea can consider stay here .

For breakfast, I saw some guests use their hands to take wet food like ham, and use their hands to take bread also, both actions touched the food inside the tray box. I think staff need to implement some control here for hygiene purposes. Room is clean, staff is helpful. I saw the staff separate the plastic bottles and general waste during housekeeping, which should be for recycling purposes. The shopping street is just downstairs, very convenient.

It's OK If you stay on the Lower Bed Because You have some kind of curtain That made from the bedsheet however If you stay on the Upper Bed that is the worst Because Nothing Cover You and your bed is open and The room was a bit smelly because someone in your room already stay for 15days, actually look like everyone in your room stay long time already.

Near bus stops, subway Dongmyo, restaurants, convenient stores, flea market. The hostel in general is not as clean compared to other hostels in South Korea. The bed was itchy. But it was cheap. That's it.

I met a lot of good people all around the world and also Koreans. This guesthouse is close to the subway station and the bus stop. So it is easy to get around (Seoul is good for transportation). All the staff here are nice. Good and easy breakfast in the morning. Every bed has is locker and enough space for your stuff! Laundry and dryer you can do it for very cheap! Can't explain how beautiful is the view from the rooftop. Thanks guys for making my stay happier!

The hotel location is excellent. It’s close to many local restaurants and the shopping area. I was able to walk to the Seoul tower and to three of the palaces from the hotel. The breakfast was acceptable. I was a little surprised we were supposed to wash our own dishes, but that was OK. Pictures of my corner room are attached.

The size of the room is very warm. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic. Usually, the students are looking at the store. Providing toothpaste, toothbrush and other toiletries. Or reminding everyone that Korean hotels need to be hygienic.

Obviously, I don't expect much from a capsule. But one would expect just a place to sleep and clean towels provided. I am almost sure this place does NOT clean the bed sheets because I found garbage on the side of the bed. Had they switched to new bed sheets, one would easily see it. What's worse was their towel. The face towel was fine but the body towel was quite disgusting but I didn't realize it until after I showered. There were brown and red stains on it as well as a hole. I'm not sure why they think it's okay to give that to their guests even if this place was so cheap. The shower stall was dirty, almost no shampoo even though I showered at 5pm and they finished cleaning at 3pm or something and the stall I went to was not wet meaning no one showered there before I did. The extra towels weren't refilled either. Pretty much, if you expect just a place to sleep (maybe bad sleep) then it is fine considering the price. But bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste and towels too. I know it was a cheap deal, but surely enough, no one would mind paying a few extra bucks if they needed it for better and thorough cleaning. Even pre-covid times, this should be the norm. But during covid period? Why would you not clean the place? The guy seemed nice but no communication when I needed him in the morning of check out because no one was there and no one picked up for over 10 minutes.
