Lovely staff working at the front desk. I went for a few days of solo hiking so the hotel is easy to access from both the highway and trails are within walking distance, as is the entire city. I didn't eat at the hotel as it was easy enough to walk to restaurants and pick something up. My hotel room did not have air conditioning (it was mid July and in the low 30sC everyday) so the nights were quite warm but the reception had a small fan I could borrow so that helped (I don't recall if my booking mentioned AC either way so it's very possible I simply overlooked that but I do believe other rooms have AC).

Ett mysigt hotell med charm! Bra frukost, trevlig personal. Bra restaurang (öppen 5 dagar i veckan) och det finns några restauranger i området som är bra. Lidl på gångavstånd. Ok rum, det finns det man behöver men ingen lyx.
Vi trivs bra här!

Il y a tout ce qui faut dans les alentours. Hôtel avec une déco d’époque, pas de clim malheureusement et les chambres donnant sur parking beaucoup trop bruyantes. Mais personnel très sympa accueillant. Et le cadre autour de la piscine top. Bon séjour pour 2 nuits et dépaysant.

The hotel is located in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by mountains.
Staff and service at the dinner were great, very friendly.
I think this hotel was created for the olympic games at albertville in 1992 and it still stays there.
It should be renovated. For me, it was just a one night stop-over, so it was ok. For a stop-over i would stay there again.

Spent a night here while on a business trip. The hotel is in need of a renovation and breakfast was rather average. Room was a decent size and clean, with an efficient air conditioning unit - much appreciated given the summer can be quite hot in this area. Staff at the reception very welcoming.

I was injured in an accident & had to go to the hospital in Albertville. We had hoped to stay at the Hotel Roma because of its proximity to the hospital & it had a restaurant on premises. I could not get around as I broke my leg & was in a cast. The receptionist was not at all helpful. She would not work with us to get an accommodating room nor would she work with us for dinner. Not even a sandwich. The hotel manager Camille was shocked at this & offered to help us. By then we had found something better. Customer service is key to me! That’s where it all starts. And this receptionist really needed a lesson! Beware!!

Personnel de l'accueil très sympathique. Par contre, la chambre mériterait un coup de rafraîchissement ainsi qu'un bon coup de nettoyage. Derrière la porte de la chambre, il y avait une grosse tache humide, le sol était très poussiéreux. Et s'il vous plaît, trouver une solution pour la chaleur dans cet hôtel. Nous avons du dormir les fenêtres ouvertes. C'était horrible. La literie est par contre très confortable.
