Summertime B&B

The apartment, which is on the second floor (there is a small lift), is a very well appointed, modern and spacious property. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hosts, Maria Rosaria and Marcello, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Location: it was a short walk from the old town area of Alghero. Far enough away to be lovely and quiet overnight but close enough to quickly get to lots of restaurants, gelaterias and bars. There was a supermarket (co-op) less than 5 minutes walk away which had a wide variety of foods and drinks etc. On-street parking close to the apartment was available for free. Bedrooms: Each of the 3 bedrooms was of a good size and had a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. The fittings were all modern and of a good quality. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding provided was high quality. We appreciated the small fridges in the bedrooms. The decoration was all nice and fresh and tasteful. Kitchen/dining area: the kitchen was large and airy, with doors leading out to a balcony (very handy for drying clothes). There was a large dining table where we could eat together, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, induction hob, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. Our lovely hosts left us some nice drinks and snacks to make us feel welcome. Other rooms: there was a small office with a desk and chair which leads into a toilet area where there was also a washing machine and dryer. This was really convenient for us as we stayed for two weeks.
