I have mixed feelings about my experience in this hotel, the reason is that it has an unusual concept with a design-oriented approach, which attracted a designer like me. As I checked in late and tired, the friendly staff offering me an ice cold beer was a nice start. The fact that the room was a windowless box made me a little uneasy at first, although I am not claustrophobic, but I was relieved by the good lighting and the rain shower. The hotel is really a must-experience and appeals more to young guests with its more affordable price compared to others. The only negative point was that it wasn't clean enough, the sheet metal on the bed and dust on the floor prevented the perfect experience.

Best hotel in Coimbra.
This is a best hotel in city center that provided us all the needs during tow days stayed in Coimbra. Staff are so friendly.

the concept of the hotel is pretty cool. They provided the essentials, No TV and no fridge. Bed is comfortable and the room is small but the bathroom is a good size.
We only stayed for 1 night as we’re just passing by coimbra anyway. I would imagine that it may get uncomfortable staying in this hotel for more than 1 night because of the size of the rooms unless you are travelling solo.

The staff were all very helpful. My main complaint was that I picked this place because it had parking. I booked recently. I found out 2 days before that there is a major construction project happening on the street, and there is no close parking - not even a place to pull up near the hotel to drop off your belongings. I had to haul luggage from about 15 minutes away through construction and torn up walkways and gravel. The hotel is interesting and otherwise well located. But if being able to park nearby is important to you, know that this construction will not be done any time soon. Good breakfast for a small amount of money. Room looks like a sauna - very cozy and quiet. Clean and well maintained. Walking distance to university and river.

The location is very central and stuff super helpful. Rooms small but have everything. Very good value. The only problem is that due to construction on the street there was no way to even unload the luggage , we had to park several blocks away and walk with our bags.

An experience to live one or two nights because there are no windows (claustrophobics should refrain) but the concept is great! The decoration of the hotel is very accomplished. The restaurant and the cocktails are very good and the kindness of the staff is top notch. Well placed to explore old Coimbra. Be careful, there are works on the avenue so it is difficult to park if you have a vehicle
