The hotel and the family that run it are wonderful. So welcoming, kind and helpful. It is in a perfect location right in the center of town, yet very quiet. You are 5 minutes walk to the port where there are many options for boats/ferries to all over. The hotel is immaculate and the breakfast is delicious. So beautiful to sit outside on the terrace, listening to the church bells while having your morning coffee. We can’t wait to go back.

Hoe verrassend vanuit een klein zijstraatje zo hup een trap op en je bent in Residenza Luce. Je kan niet tot hier met de auto komen, dus je wordt opgewacht op het plein, op twee minuutjes lopen.de zoon van Vincenzo, de eigenaar, sjouwde met onze koffers en ook nog eens alle trappen op. Van hulp wilde hij niet weten. Prima kamer, brand en brandschoon. Vincenzo en zijn twee zoons zijn zeer behulpzaam. Niks is ze te veel. Als we met de auto weg wilden, werd ie uit de parkeergarage gehaald en klaargezet op het plein. ‘s avonds om 22.00 uur kwamen we terug en brachten ze de auto weer weg. Ze adviseren over restaurants en reserveerden deze voor ons. Kortom en meer dan “top” familie hotel. En vergeet nonna niet. Ze maakte zelfs een glutenvrije cake.

Our family’s stay at Residenza Luce in Amalfi in early July was wonderful. Beginning with a warm check-in, our six night stay was very nice and pleasant. Vincenzo and family run a customer-focused boutique hotel including being very responsive on inquiries we made when making the reservations. A central location, nice room and amenities, great breakfast spread (with many vegetarian options) and proximity to ferry dock and bus station made our stay even more comfortable. Vincenzo also provided great suggestions and tips on sightseeing. At our request, he even arranged for private transfer from Rome airport. While Amalfi is a beautiful, our vacation got elevated and became more memorable by three generations of the family that run Residenza Luce. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this boutique hotel. -The Patel Family

We were so impressed with our stay at Residenze Luce in July 2024. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. It is in a perfect location in Amalfi and we had a balcony where were were able to watch all of the activity in town each night when we got home. Besides the amazing breakfast and wonderful rooms, Vincenzo and his family went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us reconfigure our travel due to a train strike in Italy. They reached out to rental companies and arranged for our early transportation to Salerno for an early train. They made amazing restaurant recommendations (even walking us to 2 of them). We truly couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay at Residenza Luce. It is a true gem of a hotel.

Forget all the fancy hotels, this place is much better! The location and conditions of our rooms not only exceeded my expectations but we got even more. And the cherry on top was the kindness of the staff, the family. Lidia and Vincenzo made us feel at home. Unbelievable experience. Breakfast perfect and not just the breathtaking view on the terrace but the selection and rich taste of everything. And if you need any info, Vincenzo's knowledge and recommendations are better than Google search. If we come back to Amalfi it will be because of them!

Excellent location in Amalfi. Our room included a terrace overlooking the town, was very quiet for sleeping, very spacious, and had very comfortable beds. The staff did not hesitate to attend to us and clearly cared very much for their visitors, they also provide an excellent breakfast I looked forward to every morning. My family enjoyed our stay here.
