Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli

Ol Tuki is a beautiful lodge to stay. The scenery from your room overlooks the park and you will see Zebra grazing, elephants, gazelle. The rooms are very large and lovely, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds, and great hot shower. The restaurant and dining area is more than you need, with such a huge selection of delicious food. The staff in the whole hotel are so friendly and helpful. There are lots of choices for places to sit and relax and wander.

We went there in July 2024 and we had unit #13. This place is in a great location. Check-in was quick and the staff is very friendly. There is a beautiful swimming pool on the grounds. It is large and well maintained but the water is a bit cold. It is really nice to relax by the pool while admiring the many animals that pass right in front. You can see zebras, wildebeest, elephants, several birds, etc. It is really a beautiful place to admire the wildlife. Our room was a bit far from the main building but it was still very pleasant to go there because all along the way you could see monkeys and baboons. The room itself was very good. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good. The wifi also worked very well. The only slightly special feature is the large window in the shower that does not have a curtain. There is a small fenced section behind the room that prevents you from looking directly into the bathroom, but this small enclosure is not locked so someone could enter and see into the bathroom. The restaurant is great. There is a large selection and the food is excellent. We even had a BBQ dinner that we really enjoyed. The bar is good, especially if you go to the second floor which offers a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather is clear. There is also a gift shop on site that offers very beautiful items but unfortunately the prices are a little too excessive. In short, it is probably one of the most beautiful lodges we have had during our safaris and we would recommend it without hesitation.

Great customer services, excellent staff, very clean amenities, excellent food, excellent views. Wifi also available though not strong in the rooms. Enough amenities I. The room but could improve by adding the number of small towels to shower. Special thanks to our waiter shadrack for amazing services.

We stayed here for two nights, as for all the lodges in Tanzania the staff were excellent, our room had a direct view of Mt Kilimanjaro. The bar was good and the food was good. We could watch the Elephants, Zebra and wilder-beast stroll across the plains. I arrived with a stomach ache and the staff contacted their onsite doctor who attended and provided antibiotics and Immodium, which was a great help. You need to ensure that you lock your room at all times as the baboons walk the length of the lodge pushing on doors and if they find it unlocked they will enter and try and steal whatever they can.

This place is spectacular. The service is excellent with the food fantastic. The wow factor though is the views and the grounds. Sitting eating within sight of so many animals was breathtaking. Rooms very good too. A pool is available also. Best safari lodge we have stayed at.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Amboseli, with scores of elephants, buffalo, zebra, gazelle (and other furry friends) passing the hotel boundary all day and night. The rooms are supremely comfortable whilst the attentive, friendly and professional hotel team members are outstanding.

Lovely stay at Ol Tukai Lodge - beautiful setting, set within Amboseli National Park so you can get straight out to explore the park. As soon as we stepped out of our lodge, we could see elephants, gazelles and wildebeest wondering behind the fence - stunning setting! The staff were friendly, polite and helpful at all times. The food quality, and variety, was the best was had in Kenya.

We stayed for 2 nights. Really lovely facilities - room was really comfortable and we had fabulous views of Kilimanjaro. Watch out for the monkeys - although the staff are on hand to keep them away! We enjoyed the park and got to see a pride of lions as well as lots of elephants. Managed to squeeze in an a couple of hours by the pool before an early evening safari. Highly recommend the lodge
