We loved the location of Casa del Parque on one hand and hated it on the other. It is so close to the city center, but it is also next door to El Barrio (Which is actually a fun place to have a drink and hang out) but it is SOOO loud. The music is pumping until 1 am. My son put his air pods in and I used my noise cancelling headphones, so we were able to sleep. We did know there would be loud music, so we were not surprised, but it was not pleasant. We would not choose to stay here again. The hotel itself is clean, beautiful, great view of the volcan.

Stay away from room 8 at all cost! The room is unreasonably small and thats the best feature. Granted there is no air conditioning but no big deal in the land of eternal spring, right? Wrong my fellow travelers! In the event you'd open your windows for a breeze, you'll promptly be greeted by the soothing sounds of street traffic as you are right over the sidewalk. Take that peaceful moment to enjoy, because at night the multi themed nightclub next door really gets going, or maybe its the bar across the street from your bed...? Any attempt at modesty is will be met by a wall( i wish a wall really) of humility as i had to sit on the toilet if you know my meaning. I had to ask my partner to kindly turn over in bed and put her headphones on and play music whilst i used the service. I didnt, strangely enough, appreciate the toilets lication so close to her nightstand... Asking for another room is another story, do youselves a favor and find another hotel unless you're into this kind of thing...

Very cute hotel just barely off of the main plaza. Pros: lovely views, close to everything, friendly and helpful staff, nice communal palaces to relax, fairly warm pool. Cons: breakfast is slightly discounted coupon to a restaurant a few streets away. Delicious, but not included in the price of the hotel. And the hotel is located two doors down from a bar/club with VERY loud music on the weekends until about 1 am (medium loud on weekdays). Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Location is great - 1/2 block from the Central Park. We typically stay at larger, higher rated hotels in Antigua, but this was a quick overnight on our way through so we gave this hotel a try. We probably won’t stay again only because of the bathroom set up. Maybe it was just our room, and it was fully functional, but the shower, toilet and sink were in separate “closets” and just felt odd for 3 people. And no counter space or shelves to set toiletries. Nice pool area and coffee service, but no food service or breakfast. Overall a satisfactory stay.

Our family loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service was easy to set up to and from the airport. I have read reviews about the beds being too hard- we actually prefer a firmer mattress and found them to be perfect! The hotel was SO clean!! It is in an extremely convenient location to Central Park and restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel felt super safe. The gate is kept closed most of the time with a button to buzz. The front desk is always staffed. We were dropped off late after attending a wedding and staff immediately opened the gate for us. The entire grounds are decorated so nice. The pool is a nice addition! I feel I do need to mention that yes, the bar next door unfortunately adds noise at no fault of the hotel but for our family, we were tired from travels and explorations, so we had no trouble falling asleep! Ask for a second story room if possible. The view from the balcony outside room 10 was breathtaking!! Perfect view of the volcano! The little ice cream shoppe next to the hotel was really good, too! I fell in love with Antigua City and hope to visit again! I would definitely choose this hotel again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
