Das Hotel liegt ruhig, mitten im Wald. Diejenigen, die Ruhe suchen, werden sich an der Lage erfreuen. Das Hotel hat schon viel zu viele Jahre auf dem Buckel. Mein Zimmer war sehr alt und muffig. Den muffigen Gestank hatte ich nachher in allen Klamotten, es war widerlich. Dazu leicht klamm im Zimmer, das vermutlich vorher ganze Zeit nicht belegt war. Die Matratze war durchgelegen und ausgeleiert. Die Steckdose für die Stehlampe, die natürlich nicht funktionierte, hing auf der Wand. Das Bad mit Wanne - und damit zu hohen Einstieg - entspricht in keinster Weise einem aktuellen Standard. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber auch nichts, was besonders gefeiert werden kann. Abendessen im Restaurant auch ok, aber extra dafür würde man das Haus nicht aufsuchen. Personal war reichlich vorhanden, machte teilweise einen ungelernten Eindruck, war aber zumindest bemüht. Bezeichnend ist, dass selbst beim Check-out noch nicht einmal die Frage gestellt wird, ob alles in Ordnung war, schon irgendwie lustig, wenn das Zimmer und eine Tagungspauschale nicht unverschämt teuer gewesen wären.

Oberhalb von Arnsberg/Neheim liegt das Dorint am Rande des waldigen Naturschutzgebietes Luerwald mit zahlreichen Spazier- und Wanderwegen. Parkplätze teilweise im Wald (€3). Der erste Eindruck: Was für ein Kasten! Rezeption und Check-In unkompliziert und freundlich. Zimmer im 5. Stock mit Balkon und kleiner Minibar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles funktionierte. Gleiches gilt für den Spa-Bereich. Hallenbad und 3 Saunen, die nur abwechselnd geöffnet sind. Ruheräume echt hässlich. Etwas zu wenig für ein „Resort“. Spa und der anliegende Fitnessraum können auch von Nichthotelgästen genutzt werden. Frühstück ok, in Büffetform mit Eierstation, die aber geschlossen war. Insgesamt ist das Dorint meiner Meinung nach gut für Geschäftsreisende, aber nicht für wellnesssuchende Urlauber geeignet.

Das Hotel schreibt sich 4 Sterne an die Tür und muss sich daran messen lassen. Aus meiner Perspektive einer zu viel. Das Haus liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage mitten im Wald. Parkplatz gibt es reichlich. Ich habe nichts bezahlt, meine aber, Schilder gesehen zu haben, die das anders sehen. Mein Zimmer war ziemlich groß, aber durchaus in die Jahre gekommen, selbiges gilt für das Bad. Sauberkeit okay. Im Zimmer gab es einen kleinen Kühlschrank, aber keinen Wasserkocher, Mückengitter oder Sonstige Extras. Bei 4 Sternen hätte ich da mehr erwartet. Das Frühstück war dagegen sehr gut. WLAN ist gratis und unverschlüsselt, funktioniert ziemlich gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber unterbesetzt. So entstand beim Check-In eine ziemliche Schlange. Die Mitarbeiterin tat ihr Bestes, war aber ganz alleine, das kann man durchaus besser regeln. Das Haus preis sich als Sport-Ressort. Es gibt wohl auch einen Fitnessraum, den ich gerne ausprobiert hätte, der aber erst 7:30 Uhr öffnet, viel zu spät also für Geschäftsreisende.

Betrug von vorne bis hinten es geht jetzt zum Anwalt. haben über Booking gebucht. Fragen an wann wir Anreise können (2 DZ) da wird uns mitgeteilt das keinen Buchung vorhanden ist. Eine stunde später nochmal versucht das selbe Antwort unter zeugen am Telefon Haber meine Name und Fam. Name buchstabiert (welchen die dann selbst nach nicht gefunden haben das haben wir per mail schriftlich) aber wohl nachher per Kredit karte ein gezogen mehrmals versucht als Kollege (Habe selbst ein 4 * Hotel in Winterberg und es versucht Gütlich zu klären bleiben stur auch Booking). Vor und Fam. angeblich vertauscht worden bei der Buchung . Das ist nicht mein Problem. So Fazit Schlicht Betrug und nie wieder Dorint!. Das ganze wird jetzt der Richter klären, Aber wir haben Zeugen von beiden anrufen und den email: das erst keine Buchung vorlag!

Op het eerste gezicht een prachtig hotel, op afstand. Kom je dichterbij dan zie je dat het echt gedateerd is. Met de kritieken en suggesties zoals die in reviews van meer dan 5 jaar geleden zijn geweest is niets gedaan. De ruime kamers zijn zeer gedateerd! Bedden hangen door, verf laat los van kozijnen en balkons zijn bijna gevaarlijk te noemen.. 2022 nog steeds blaffende honden in hotel te horen, kansloos. Schaf die honden nou toch word het rustiger en hygiënischer van. Nog traditionele kamersleutels waardoor veel energie verloren gaat. Gelukkig was het buiten 18 graden toen wij er waren. De kamers zijn niet geconditioneerd waardoor deze in de zomer niet koel zijn te houden. Op de gangen is het snikheet. Ontbijt is voldoende. Personeel doet z’n best ondanks het tekort aan medewerkers. Positief is de fraaie fitness ruimte en prima zwembad. De sauna’s waren wel door technische problemen buiten gebruik.. Ligging is prachtig van het hotel en naastgelegen restaurant bij Rodelhaus maakt veel goed. Een krappe voldoende.
