Grand Hyatt la Manga Club Golf and Spa

Great to return to the improved Grand Hyatt La Manga resort. Great staff across all depts. they solved a problem I had on first night really well.

Excellent hotel but the really special point of difference is the customer service which is excellent . In particular Juan Ignacio Fernandez on Reception and Diego who are both excellent . It’s been a few years since I have stayed at this hotel and the last time I came I was very underwhelmed. However following the take over and full refurbishment I have to say that the hotel has regained its position of the best hotel in murcia. Everything was faultless and it really feels like a premium hotel with excellent service. I would highly recommend this tranquil and luxurious hotel

Stayed for 10 days. Excellent golf resort. We attended the academy and found the director Craig Donnelly to be top class. Would have no hesitation in recommending him and we are likely to be back. We tried all the restaurants and enjoyed them. The only issue we found was that the bar was understaffed,particularly noticeable at the weekends. Two bar staff is too little, as they are also servicing all cocktail orders from the restaurants. When we were waiting 20 minutes to place an order on our second Friday …. We raised the issue with the hospitality manager, who was dismissive.

The steak restaurant serves great food, service and setting. Beautiful steak , lovely fizz. Staff look after you. Lovely sunset. Asia the restaurant is also beautiful, recommend the peanut chicken starter . Again fabulous service. Would recommend.

Hotel and hotel surroundings are really great. However the bathrooms need an upgrade as they are really becoming shabby. Also which is a shame only small portion of the hotel restaurants are open in the beginning of the week which is not acceptable for a hotel of this quality.

La Trattoria in the hotel is distinctly average. If you want Italian go to Dante’s in the town. Won’t be back to La Trattoria in the hotel because of service (cold and unengaging), lighting (dark, tables either side sat in the dark for 15 min+). Not impressed.
