Fufu Atami

Very good. I stayed in two similar hot spring hotels. This one has better food and bigger rooms.

Not as good as expected, and the hotel is old

初めてのふふ宿泊でした！ 部屋に小さなTV付きの温泉があり、 朝食夕食ともにも美味しかったです。 花火大会のときに宿泊したのですが、 花火鑑賞を目的として行くなら、次は違うホテルを選ぶかな、と思います。花火と木が被ってしまう状況だったり、距離的にもベストホテルではないと思います。 温泉目的で行くならば、いいホテルでした！

This is my third visit to Fufu Atami. I visited Ki no Ma no Tsuki again in March after November. Last time, I stayed in Yuzuki, so this time I booked Akatsuki. The room looked very spacious and was very comfortable. The construction noise in the main building was not too bothersome, and the sound of the river was soothing. There were no problems with the facilities. I arrived a little early for check-in, but I was able to get to my room right away. Unfortunately, it was raining, but it was still charming, and I was able to relax by hearing the birds singing. For dinner, the head chef requested me to enjoy the usual sushi kaiseki. I don't like sashimi, so they changed it. The breakfast was just the right amount and was enough. They called me in advance to check out the room on my way back, and they came at a good time and I left the inn at exactly 12 o'clock. On the way back, they asked me to carry my luggage and saw me off, so I was satisfied with my stay from check-in to check-out. This time, I give it 5 stars. My friend said he wanted to come back, so I made a reservation for September, which would be his birthday, but I was told that I need to call the reservation center after April to guarantee the best rate. All the staff were very friendly and we had a pleasant stay. I think it's a nice inn that's worth the price. My only request is that the smoking area is too dark and scary. Although it can't be helped as the whole building has a moonlit image, I wish they had one more light, as it's too dark at your feet. This is my favorite place in Atami.

This is my second visit to Fufu Atami, and this time I was drawn to the sushi kaiseki and chose Kinomatsuki. There was a little noise due to construction work in the main building, but that can't be helped. A room in Yuzuki. It's unfortunate that the bathroom dryer was broken. It wasn't a cold season, so it wasn't a problem, but I hope they do a better job of maintaining it. Dinner was better than expected. Because they use raw ingredients, it was a little different from what was listed on the website, but that was good. We had a satisfying time with Chef Toba's light-hearted talk and delicious food. The breakfast was also good and plentiful. My companion seemed very satisfied with the food, so we made a reservation for March. This is the fifth visit for the Fufu group, so if I had to say something, I would like the drinks in the refrigerator to be changed a little. We arrived a little early, but no one came out, which made me feel uneasy. Check-out is at 12 o'clock, but we have to do the procedure in the room, so I felt like we were kicked out early and it was unsettling. I think it would be fine to visit five minutes before. It's a shame that the last impression was somehow bad. After I paid, no one was there and they didn't even help me with my luggage. I guess it can't be helped if that's how they do things, but I didn't have a very good impression of it. I'm sure there are people who like it, but it's a bit tricky. I learned something this time, so next time I'll get used to it. It's also a bit interesting that you can't adjust the temperature of the open-air bath from inside the room. Also, lunch was included as a member plan perk, but it was nice that they changed it to a first drink. I would prefer a complimentary drink or hotel credit if possible, rather than a gift. If it costs the same, I think customers would be happier if they had a choice. So, I would like to give it 5 stars, but I gave it 4. I look forward to returning in March.

We stayed in two rooms for one night for my parents' anniversary. When we made the reservation, we requested that they be considerate of stairs and other issues because my parents are elderly, but we were given the room at the very end. The mat on the deck sofa on the terrace had been peeled off, leaving the cracked boards exposed. My mother's impression of the Sisley beauty treatment she received as a gift was, "They were very strict about offering options. I told them it was a gift from my child, so I didn't mind, but they were very persistent." The teppanyaki was amazing. At Hitoshio in Sekaie, the staff are young and casual, but at Fufu, the head chef shows off his skills. I was impressed that they gave me their business cards and greeted me. The champagne from the anniversary plan that was rejected at Sekaie can be used for a toast at Fufu. The wine was also delicious. However, the staff at both places are great. I will use it again.

One review ☆ Content and response This time I decided on "Fufu Atami". The facility environment is old, but not so much that it bothers me. The lighting in the guest rooms is a little dim, so it may be difficult to tell whether they are old or clean. I prefer brighter rooms, so I think it would be good if they could adjust the amount of light to be a little brighter. The human environment is "young!" The first guide was a new graduate staff member, and the other floor staff were also young, in their early 20s at mealtimes. There were several times during my stay when I was made to make mistakes in my response, but I think it is necessary to gain experience in the field to train staff, and I could see that they were trying hard, so I let it go this time (perhaps they assign veteran staff to repeat customers). As for the food, it was well seasoned. The temperature was still around 30℃, so it was delicious. However, the overall flow balance... Since the taste was solid, I would have liked a "palate cleanser" before the "grilled food" ⇒ "strong appetizer", or a "table food". Ultimately, it's all a matter of preference, but there are plenty of other accommodations at this price, so it's important to have a particular feature or recommendation... I'm staying at Atami Onsen for work in November, so I did some preliminary research, but next time I'll look for a different accommodation.

My wife and I stayed here amidst the greenery. We stayed in a twin room in the "Kino-no-Ma-Tsuki" room. The layout was typical of luxury hotels. We had a sushi kaiseki dinner. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed talking with the chef, so it was nice to have a lively atmosphere.
