Hotels near Holy Metropolitan Church of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary, Athens

The short version: this is a modern hotel, well located and offers a great value for money. The long version: Getting there: from the airport we took the metro to Monasteraki (9€) then the hotel is literally across the street. Check-in: we got there early and the friendly front desk staff offered us water and kept our luggage while we went for a walk. When we came back the room was ready. The room: this room was spacious and modern. The shower was clean and well equipped. It has a small tv but we didn't use it at all. The room was cleaned and the towels replaced every day. The hotel is located in a busy area but the room was quiet. One thing worth mentioning is that there are graffitis everywhere in Athens and the hotel entrance is not an exception. So don't get discouraged by the hotel outside look. The stay: The hotel is just a minute walk from Monastraki metro station which gives access to two metro lines. You can pretty much go anywhere from there. The Monasteraki square itself is always busy day and night. The restaurants are abundant nearby and the food is delicious. We start our morning with a breakfast at the sister location 360 hotel: the breakfast is included and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the variety of the options. They start serving breakfast at 7am. There are many archeology sites nearby including the Acropolis which is a 30 minutes walk from the hotel. I would recommend going there early (8am) to avoid lineups and the big crowd. The staff were friendly and helpful every time we interacted wirh them. Check-out: fast and smooth. Nothing special to mention.

The staff was very attentive and pleasant, one of the receptionists speaks Spanish very well. One morning we left early for a flight and they packed us a to-go box. It has good views from the roof top.

Negative points:Breakfast buffet has less variety of food. It needs to include fruit squeezer and fried eggs. Black people stay nearby. Positive points: location is very good with 2 metro stations, especially omonia where 2 metro lines interact. They are very helpful for tourist to visit interesting places like acropolis. Staff service is excellent. Indian restaurants nearby offer delicious but cheaper food.

This is an exceptionally lovely place to stay in the centre of Athens. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka District and all the fabulous restaurants. Very nice rooms and amenities with very friendly staff. Excellent service. Make sure you go up to the roof top bar for food and drinks with a fabulous night time view of the Acropolis and make sure you say hi to Marios… the best and friendliest of bar hosts!

The hotel is well-equipped with good sound insulation. The hotel itself is not bad. The driver who picked up said that our hotel is located in the worst district in Greece. There are many thieves and refugees, and we were asked not to go out at night and pay attention to safety. So we didn't go out after we checked in and checked out early the next morning. Hotel service staff was kind.

Really good hotel, close too the centre of athens. Around 20 mins walk to the centre so not so bad. The hotel itself is budget but we loved it, cost room, aircon, TV, bathroom with amazing shower. I would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect base for city exploring. The staff were nice and friendly and the cleaners were nice.

LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. Everything was perfect in this well located hotel. We travelled with a dog and they were very accommodating. The room was very comfortable, clean and with full amenities. We will definitely return soon!

It is a very clean and good facility. It was very nice to be able to stay in such a good facility for such a low price. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city by subway. However, if you can stay in such a clean and good facility, it is not a problem at all. The manager keeps in touch and checks if there is anything you need. I had to go to the airport early in the morning, but they prepared a pick-up vehicle for me, so I came comfortably.

Very nice little hotel, close to the ferry gates and the metro station, extremely friendly staff. The room was very confortable, nespresso machine and minibar. The elevator is slow, so we took the stairs most of the time. Would definitely stay again.
