Hotels in Koukaki, Athens

I have to say, booking this hotel was a mistake. It's my own fault for not choosing the location carefully. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, about 700 meters from the metro station. I dragged my luggage and it probably took me 20 minutes to walk there. I should have booked something near Syntagma Square, as that's where the airport bus stops. It also cost me 10 Euros for a taxi from the main attractions in the old town to get here. Since it was already booked and couldn't be changed, I had no choice but to stay here. Then, when I went to sleep, I'm not sure if it was because I was anxious about leaving the next day or if the pillow was a bit too high, but I just couldn't get a good night's sleep.

We stayed at Heritage Hill Hotel Athens for 3 nights and had a really pleasant experience. The receptionist was very helpful and recommended many nice places for us to visit and enjoy during our time in Athens. A special mention also goes to Agni, who took care of us during breakfast. She was incredibly helpful, provided excellent service, and had such a warm and lovely attitude that made our mornings even better. The hotel location is also very convenient, as it is very close to the Acropolis, just one train station away. The room we stayed in was quite spacious, which made our stay very comfortable. We also loved the shower — the water pressure was great, and the water temperature was perfect. The hot water was just right. On top of that, their olive oil shampoo was amazing as well. If we come back to Athens again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very nice apartment and Great view big terrace, but unfortunately the wind of 20kmh is enough to wake you up all night because of the awning... Windows glass are simple and old.

The hotel is located just a 3-minute walk from the metro station, making it very convenient. It is also easy to take the train to the airport from there. We had an evening flight and arrived at the hotel after midnight, but the self check-in process provided by the hotel was clear and convenient. We were pleasantly welcomed with tasty candies in the room, which was clean and modernly decorated. It also provided all the necessary items we needed. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

Loved the location and service, though the duvet was a towel and we had to sleep with the AC on since our clothes needed to dry, so it was a bit chilly at night. The curtains were also a bit too thin to block out sunlight, and the bathroom lacked ventilation so it could get quite damp after showering. But overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff were really helpful and nice! We were able to explore Athens mostly on foot~

Honestly I was a little worried about booking a hotel in Athens having not visited since 1999 but the Acropolis View Hotel kept popping up on my searches and the reviews were really good so I booked a twin acropolis view room for my husband and I to stay for 1 night at the end of a cruise. We were blown away by the service at reception and the location to pretty much everything we wanted to see in a day within walking distance. The views were amazing and the rooftop deck was perfect for a drink at the end of the day with Acropolis in background and for breakfast the next morning before leaving for airport. Will definitely stay here again and am happy to recommend to friends and family.

I took a room with a two-stage bed! There was a futon at the bottom of the 2-stage bed and it was difficult to understand! I was very comfortable!

The penthouse experience was simply stunning. The design is exceptional, very well thought out and coherent, with the same attention to detail found throughout the entire hotel. The natural materials and high-quality finishes create a very pleasant and refined atmosphere, and everything smells amazing. The highlight is definitely the view – seeing the Acropolis directly from your bed is something truly special. The private terrace completes the experience perfectly and offers a wonderful space to relax. As for a couple of more neutral aspects: the location, which although not far, sometimes makes you choose a taxi to quickly reach the more lively areas, and the mattress, which could have been a bit firmer for perfect comfort. Other than that, everything is at a very high standard. Absolutely worth the stay.
