"The hotel is a great value for money one! I was travelling alone at Athens and I wanted a hotel in a convenient location. Marina Hotel it was an excellent choice, just 5 minutes walk to the underground station. At the same time in just 5 minute walking distance the visitor can be at the Omonoia Square and from there to walk to Plaka, monastiraki and all the wonderful touristic areas, around Parthenon. Besides the location, the hotel was very clean, with nice Christmas decorations! Room was clean and tidy. The staff was very polite and on the top of the above, the breakfast was very good! Rooms decoration and furniture were of some age but the cheap price can justify it. If I could ask something more it would be for every day room cleaning. I stayed three nights and I only had cleaning one day."

"Aile olarak gittik ve yaş ortalaması yüksek bir grup olmasına rağmen herkes çok memnun kaldı. Odaları çok temiz. Her gün havlular değişti oda temizlendi. Kahvaltısı yurtdışı standartlarinin çok üzerindeydi. Meyvesinden kuru yemişine kadar her şeyi düşünmüşler. Bir daha Atina'ya gitsem yine bu otelde kalırım. Ayrıca personellerin hepsi güler yüzlü ve samimiyetle yaklaştı. En son gün otelden çok erken ayrılmamız gerekiyordu. Kahvaltınin ücreti önceden ödendiği için 11 kişiye ayrı ayrı kahvaltı paketi hazırlayıp verdiler. Havaalanında yedik ve yumurtaya kadar koymuşlar. Mükemmeldi çok teşekkür ediyorum 🙏🏻"

"Dave Red in Athens is definitely a hotel with character! If you want to stay somewhere not so ordinary, then this is your choice. The hotel's public spaces and rooms are extremely clean and very tastefully designed with a nod to the building's historical past. The colour palette is in contrasting dark/red tones which gives it unique atmosphere. The main highlight of my room was the super comfy bed and the balcony with a street view. In terms of the size, the room wasn't the biggest but more than enough for a single person. I would like to especially emphasise the staff of the hotel who were extremely helpful, spoke fluent English and gave valuable recommendations. It felt like they really care about their guests' comfort and want them to have best experience in Athens. All the amenities were top notch: breakfast, gym (small but functional), iron and ironing board on request, and a little rooftop space with a communal hot tub😍"

"A very clean budget hotel near the city center, in the multicultural Kypseli neighborhood of Athens. To catch the metro, go to Victoria station. Alternatively, there are bus lines connecting this area with the rest of Athens. The staff is kind and welcoming."

"The service was great and helpful, the room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. However, the water pipes on the first floor were very noisy, and they even disturbed at night. No bottles water was provided. The location is very close to the metro station, which is very convenient."

"The place is in a very convenient location. Facilities are a little old. Buffet is very good. I had a trouble with the card to enter to room and the receptionist imply I didn't know how to use it I had to go twice because of that it happen 3 times during my stay of 3 nights. The cards are obsolete if they said that those inactivate when electric devises such cellphones or earphones are near. But breakfast is very good."

"They are excellent in every aspect: location, cleanliness of the rooms, spacious balcony, and everyone from the reception to the housekeeping staff are very friendly and kind people 👌"

"The Candia hotel was a very short and easy walk with a lot of luggage from the train station. I was able to check in an hour earlier than they state in the information and the receptionists were very helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the underground station in Thessaloniki from there it was a short train ride ( very exciting if you get a front seat) to all the museums and centre. The room at Candia was very large with a big bathroom and was very comfy, clean and relaxing. There are shutters in the windows that was good for the mornings. Nd the sun did not wake me up! Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of hot and cold food. I especially liked the fruit and yoghurts with an array of extra bits for healthy toppings. The swimming pool was lively and I had fun in the sun. There were plenty of staff to help there and make my stay fabulous. The views from the top of the hotel were great and I wished I’d taken some images! Thessaloniki has a lot to offer travellers who enjoy culture, which is why I chose to stay there."

"Good location, members of staff are excellent - Constanita ( The Great), Said and Nicky. Will stay again. I would suggest having proper hooks for the shower and tea and coffee for the kitchen"

"The room was clean, and most of the staff were quite friendly. The room was indeed a bit small, and breakfast wasn't very diverse. However, for a stay near the airport, it's quite suitable, and the room feels very new."
