My wife and I stayed here the day before Thanksgiving and through the weekend. We had stayed here for a week July of 2022 also. What a difference a year in a half makes. We loved our stay July 2022. Everything was awesome. But this time around we were very disappointed. First the hot tub was out of order and had been for two weeks by the time arrived. Truthfully that was the main reason we booked here because of the great hot tub and the scenic view that it faces. It's part of the amenities package on their webpage. In knowing that it had not been repaired immediately shows poor management regarding facility maintenance. I felt this to be disrespectful to their customers considering this hotels prices are on the high end for this area. Issues with poor maintenance were also found in our room. The carpets were frayed in areas. The chairs for the table had scratches and tears in both of them as well as stains on the couch. The elevator has a tile floor that was cracked in numerous spots and missing grout throughout. It of course made crackling sounds when stepping in and stepping off. I doubt I will ever stay here again. This place evidently on the decline. As much as they charge one would think they could afford to maintain that property so much better. And the fact that the aren't just shows a lack of accountability and appreciation for their customers. Cheap and lazy attitude from the management sums up my recent opinion of this hotel.

Overall, there are 2 big shopping malls Costco and target next to it. They sell very real estate. There is a fast food across the road but you need to cross a crossroad. The room facilities are quite new. The front desk service is also very warm. There is an ice machine on each floor. Coffee is free 24 hours a day. Not far from the airport, 20+ minutes by taxi.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Austin. My names is Ronaldo Batista. Me and my wife loves to travel. We travel twice monthly, we went to Holiday In North Express in Austin by indications from another hotel that gave us an excellent service in South Caroline. Once in Austin we reserve two days and we decide stay one day more. They charged $100 dollars for each reservations what is normal in all Hoteis we have stayed,.but we are deeply disappointed, Is already more than two weeks ,even call them asking about the deposit they always tell will be such day but they never return it .Was only me and my wife and we travel each 2 months. Never happened things like that with us before ,we are seniors but Hotes always treated with respect. The room was left clean and organized. Holiday Express North is a good Hotel ,but I'm afraid we won't use their facilities anymore. Ronaldo Batista.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Toilet wouldn't flush in 1st room. Room moved to discovered dirty sheets. Tired, figured just change the sheets. Changing rooms would've been better. 3 trips downstairs to get the correct size sheets. Night manager finally found a king sz fitted mattress cover. But no fitted sheet & one flat sheet. Remote extra dirty when wiped down. As if it had not been wiped off in quite some time. Called head office and complained. They were nice, only reason I'm giving them a 2 rating! While they thoroughly cleaned the room the next day and gave me a bunch of conciliatory points it does little to make me feel better about this location. Breakfast was substandard. Next morning asked for head manager, she had the front desk to say she was not in. Head manager was unaware I could see her sittingin her office. Left number, she never call. Next week, manager from hotel did call but not manager I left message for. He apologized profusely. One of the staff persons who knew of my complaint shared during my stay that head manager at site was lax on upkeep. Hopefully if you are reading this, there is a new head manager so that your stay may be more pleasant.

Not a normal Holiday Inn Express and Suites experience. Usually good but this location is definitely stressed under the covid 19 restrictions. No one to check us in; had to wait at the front desk for 5 minutes. When the manager arrived, he was friendly but clearly trying overwhelmed. As would be expected, the breakfast menu was restricted to pre-wrapped items like muffins. A few bananas but no oranges, which would have been good with Vitamin C for the virus running around. No coffee at 8:00 am, had to go to the front desk to ask for coffee as no one available in the breakfast area. Definitely short-staffed, my guess...Covid. FYI, this location not easy to find, off the highway and tucked in behind restaurants; no large sign to see location.
