Special praise: The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful. I was on a 2-day tour, so I had two separate stays and stored my luggage at the hotel. However, the local tour was delayed, affecting my check-in and luggage retrieval time. "As mentioned before, the location really depends on where you primarily plan to go. If you're mainly exploring the city center, I wouldn't recommend it. JulesTReally welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan.
The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned.
The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking.
The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away.
Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.

My stay at Peppers was fantastic. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a great location. Housekeeping was outstanding and kept everything spotless. My expectations were definitely met with the room.
Only two small negatives: the restaurant downstairs is extremely overpriced, and when I called 40 minutes before check-in to see if I could get my parking pass early, I was told no — I’d need to buy a normal ticket and then the pass at check-in, which felt inconvenient.
Overall, I was really happy and would definitely stay here

Guest UserThe apartment was clean and functional. It has everything you would need for an extended stay., including washing machine and dryer. We actually live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide but we were going to a show that night and decided we would not drive home. It had parking for $30 per night which we thought was a bargain. The receptionist was lovely when we checked in. The only complaint from both my husband and myself was that the pillows were not to our liking. Using both pillows proved too high, one was too low, and they were much too firm for us. Other than that, I can't complain. ☺️☺️

The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower.
the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor.
Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does.
The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote.
Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work.
Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits.
It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

I didn't realise it was stair access only. This wasn't made obvious when I booked or I would have avoided it. Because I have 2 extremely bad knees and cannot do stairs this made it very hard for me. By the time I walked down to there, walked up the outside steps it was too late when I saw the inside steps to go back because my knees were done.
Heater not working so by the time I realised this on the first night I physically wasn't able to walk back again. But when I reported this on Tuesday night there was instant action and the issue was resolved. Heater on, but it was VERY loud when running.
Not much space to sit and relax. If there were 4 guests there is literally not enough room in the couch/fridge/tv area to accommodate. And one of the luxurious things about staying in a hotel room is sitting in bed and watching TV which is impossible here.
It has been years since I've stayed in a hotel or motel room that does not supply shampoo/conditioner so this was a surprise.
Fridge door jammed, had to push it hard to close.

Guest UserThe room has central air conditioning, but at this time of year, it's not turned on, so the room felt a bit stuffy. The noise from the fan outside the window was very loud, making it too noisy to open the window for ventilation. Breakfast was very mediocre; don't waste $18 on it. You'd be better off walking about 200m to the right of Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor to a beef noodle shop.
The shower facilities were pretty good, with strong water pressure and easy temperature adjustment.
The laundry room at Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor is practically non-existent, with old coin-operated washing machines.

The price is quite high for what is offered. The dinner, which is included, is reasonably good, but considering the price per night, I think this is the minimum that could be expected.
However, the breakfast could definitely be improved. It mainly consists of bread, butter, jam, coffee and tea, along with some cereal and milk. Adding fruit, eggs or more variety would make the breakfast much more appealing, especially considering the relatively high price of the room.
As for the room, the shower is unfortunately not very clean. On the positive side, the bed is comfortable, and a shower towel is provided.
However, the blankets are far too small. It is basically just a small throw that is not large enough to properly cover someone who is 1.80 m tall. My feet and part of my shins were left uncovered, with the blanket barely reaching below my knees. A larger and more suitable blanket would definitely be needed.
Overall, there are several areas that could be improved, particularly the breakfast, shower cleanliness and bedding, to make the overall experience more in line with the price being charged.

at the center of North Terrace, the location of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.
