Since I stayed there for a long time this time, I really witnessed the bedding being changed for each guest. The fisherman's house is close to the commercial center. On an island that is not overly commercially developed, the folk customs on the island are simple, rent a swimming lap for children, and don't ask for time, just 10 yuan. Some tourist facilities on the island are not perfect, such as dining and travel, which is not very convenient. Fortunately, the boss helped us solve it. The homestay is built next to the mountain, and there is definitely a gap between the environment, facilities and hotels, but the focus is on location, service and economy.

He was incredibly reliable and warm-hearted. Since there are no ride-hailing apps on the island, taxis need to be booked via phone calls. Mr. Liu helped us arrange transportation and suggested places to visit, and every single recommendation was fantastic. He saved us both hassle and money. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. The food was great, and we had a wonderful time. If we ever come back to Guanglu Island, we'll definitely stay here again.

I traveled during the off-season in September, after the summer holidays, so the prices were cheaper. The guesthouses offered options including three meals a day or just accommodation and finding your own food. Since most of the guests were locals and didn't have much seafood, I chose Yijing Fishing Lodge, which didn't include meals. I booked a four-person room on Ctrip. Both rooms had air conditioning and TVs, a kitchen, and a mahjong table, and it was very spacious. When I checked in, I found the air conditioning was already on, which was very thoughtful. There was also a private courtyard (I loved this courtyard!! It was so cozy). The room had two small buckets and beachcombing tools 🧰. Breakfast was included: millet porridge, eggs, and some side dishes. Although it was simple, the taste was quite good. Ctrip had the hotel's contact number, and I added the owner on WeChat. He picked us up from the port, sent us locations and descriptions of some attractions on the island, checked our return ferry tickets, and took us back to the port after check-out. I loved the environment of this place; I was so happy even lying on the bed!

The guesthouse I booked online offered a convenient free shuttle service to and from Beixiaoquan Port. The house was newly renovated, the facilities were new, and the bedding wasn't damp. The air conditioning was powerful, and the water pressure in the bathroom was high, making showering very easy. There was a simple clothes rack inside for drying clothes, although the air at the beach was humid and clothes didn't dry easily. The landlady was very welcoming and helpful. There were small buckets and shovels for beachcombing on the second-floor balcony (the shovels were plastic and not as good as the iron shovels used by locals). Restaurants and supermarkets were nearby, making shopping very convenient. Suitable for a slow-paced, relaxing trip. Activities: The beach was average; the waves were a bit big, not suitable for children to swim. Beachcombing at low tide was a highlight, with many small crabs under the rocks. Dining: There were several restaurants nearby, including some delicious and reasonably priced Chinese food. A seafood restaurant I found on the navigation app was also good; it was a bit pricey at 400 NTD for two people, but the sea cucumber, sea urchin, and sea cucumber rice with garlic vermicelli and grilled oysters were all quite tasty.

Service: The hotel service was excellent. After disembarking, a hotel shuttle picked us up from the station and took us back to the hotel, which was incredibly convenient and quick, saving us a lot of trouble… We brought our elderly relatives and children to experience the unique scenery of the island during the National Day holiday… The receptionist and hotel manager provided excellent service, making us feel at home… Island Environment: The scenery was breathtaking.
