There are a lot of green plants in the hotel, and there are tea tables and tea leaves everywhere. There are two rooms in the first phase of the rock house and the second phase of the tree house. We booked the highest room in the second phase. We overestimated ourselves and were exhausted after several trips. But the scenery outside the room is really beautiful. There is an electric blanket on the bed. The breakfast nine-square soy milk is quite good, and the dishes ordered in the restaurant the night before are also delicious and fresh.
There are two points that I am not satisfied with the infrastructure. One is that the mirror in the highest tree house room is too bad, comparable to the ancient bronze mirror that can't see anything. The second is that the shower leaks too seriously. Overall, I am very satisfied and recommend it to my friends.

The room decoration is very new. The room on the first floor has floor heating. It is very warm in winter. The bedding is very comfortable. The duvet is soft and warm. The room is equipped with a nut projector. You can cast a movie on the screen.
Hotel location is within walking distance from Huaiyuan Building and the ancient town. You can drive to the surrounding restaurants. There are many restaurants. It is very quiet at night.

In the afternoon, I arrived at Nanjing Station. I contacted the hotel in advance to charter a car. The location of the hotel is good. In the center of Yunshuiyao, I went to the big waterwheel after leaving the alley. I walked along the stone 🪨 Road and walked to Hegui Building. The century-old elm tree is beautiful and the stream is very clear. Make tea under the elm tree and chat, and your thoughts are empty. The next morning, it was very convenient to walk to the other side of Huaiyuan Building. The service is good, especially the recommended master Jian is very good, simply refund the train ticket and charter the car to see the Tulou, Xiata Village is surrounded by the stove to taste tea, and send us to Zhangzhou in a circle. There is plenty of time, the price is reasonable, and we have a good time.

Sorry to only write a review today... I came to this B&B when I was traveling with my kids. I first saw it on the Ctrip platform and the response was very good. So with the mentality of giving it a try, I booked a room a month in advance. After arriving, Just as I imagined, the environment is elegant, with small bridges and flowing water, cicadas chirping and birds chirping. It is in a scenic spot, which is very convenient. Hygienic and clean, no different from the pictures, and the toiletries are also very useful. This is the style of a B&B that I like very much. It can be seen from the brick-by-brick planning and furnishings that the proprietress is a very loving person. The proprietress is very good at cooking and is very patient. Seeing that my children and I wanted to climb the earthen building at night, she was worried about accompanying us. It made me feel like I had returned to my own home. It was very warm. A very beautiful hotel with the structure in wood of an old tulou and a fishpond in the center of the courtyard. It was very peaceful.
You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof.
You are awaken by the sounds of the birds in the morning, it is really a unique experience.
The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor.
They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.

This B&B hotel is really great. The rooms are more comfortable than expected. There are deluxe package, family version and standard rooms, which can meet all kinds of needs. The interior of the house is exactly the same as the photo. You can also see the view of the creek from the courtyard. The landlord's service is very warm. VVythicaWe stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags.
The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required.
Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100.
The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old.
When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage.
The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy.
The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening.
The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day.
There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu.
The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse.
The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

DDarylAs it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

KKeshuichongxixiThe homestay is very artistic. You can feel that the owner is very attentive to the business. The room is large, the facilities are thoughtful, the bedding is soft, and the living is very comfortable.
The entire first floor is a leisure and entertainment area. There is also a swimming pool. Take photos, drink tea and coffee, and there are books and chess. The location is excellent. In the room, you can see the earth building through the window.

XXiaoxiaodou～🏨The B&B is a large farmhouse. It has three stores in Yunshuiyao. It is relatively strong. The Yunshuichan we stayed in is a two-story building. However, because there are not many people living there, the store upgraded the first floor of Xijentang with a courtyard. The room is large, clean and well-equipped. There is a parasol in the yard. You can sit in the yard to drink tea and play cards, but barbecues are not allowed.
🙋The waiter added WeChat in advance, and the service was warm and thoughtful. He informed us of the route. When he arrived at the entrance of the folk custom, he took the initiative to greet us, guide us in parking and help carry our luggage.
💰The price is slightly more expensive than most B&Bs in Yunshuiyao, but the environment, hardware facilities and courtyards are also of a higher grade, which is a high-quality experience. Secondly, we upgraded the room type during the off-season~ so it’s still good~
🎵Soundproofing is average, a common problem in most hotels.
🏡The yard is very large, with a small lake containing 🐟 and 🐢, and a fish pond with koi carps and bonsai arrangements. It is very touching and comfortable.
✨The night view is beautiful. It is recommended that friends who stay here can go for a walk downstairs at night~

🗺️The entire Yunshuiyao is relatively remote... We drove there. After entering the village, the road was narrow and not easy to drive. Yunshuichan can be reached as soon as you enter the village, so you don't have to walk many narrow roads, but there is also a short walk to Dashui Chezhu Scenic Area, which takes about 8 minutes. The location is pretty good ~

GGuest UserI was traveling alone and a friend recommended this Firefly Inn. It is right on the roadside in Taxia Village Scenic Area. There is a beautiful view outside the window. I booked a large room for 2 nights. It was clean and tidy. The boss, whose surname is Zhang, is not very talkative but very sincere. He has arranged the best route to the Tulou and introduced the history and origin of the Tulou. He knows that the customer has a hard time traveling and will go to the nearest place to meet you at the next stop. Don’t miss the boss lady’s local chicken soup and braised bamboo shoots with pickled vegetables for dinner. They are cheap and high-quality but especially tender and delicious😋. Recommendation to all young travel companions: You can choose to charter a car when booking the inn. The boss will be the driver and tour guide throughout the journey to bring you laughter along the way. Thank you again, Boss Zhang, for giving me a pleasant two-day holiday.

It was a two hour ride from Xiamen and you started realising it was really special when you enter Taxia village.
The resort is an integral part of the village and the local villagers were sunning their harvests next to it.
From the moment you walked into the resort, you could feel that you will be well taken care of.
So much love and dedication was done in building the place, it felt totally seamless with the surrounding traditional houses and yet, the level of luxury is no different from any 5 star hotel.
Each nook and cranny were beautiful and I could spend a whole day just looking them
We stayed in the double room unit which was located across the stream from the reception with views to die for and so much privacy.
Food was hearty and more than enough

It is old (100 years old) and is suitable for those who want to experience staying in an earth building (there is a separate bathroom in this earth building). 蔡蔡桂嬋The location of the hotel is fantastic and our room looked directly over the tulou cluster. If you don't mind climbing up steps, you can walk to the high level observation platform in about 15 minutes for a stunning view over the valley.
The rooms and facilities are basic but clean and there is plenty of hot water. As elsewhere in China the mattresses are very hard but okay for a couple of nights.
The couple who run the business are very friendly and helpful and, if you don't want to eat out, they offer good and tasty home cooking.

Even if we cant communicate well because they cant understand English, they give their best to help us .The guest house is inside the village of the Tianluokeng Tulou Clusters and at the back of this house is the viewing deck . The owner helped us booked a taxi to pick us up Nanjing station and show us around the different Tulous . The driver is very nice and took nice photos of us too! The food is very good , we liked the chaofan and the taro/ sweet potato balls. Its not your typical hotel stay, but it has everything you need and the over all experience is what I like best
