It’s super big. In Tokyo, a place where you can’t even open a suitcase in a room, it’s really a surprise to book such a big apartment at this price.
The location is also very good. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to Honjo Azuma Zen. There is a direct subway to Narita Airport. It is also walking distance to Sensoji Temple, about 10 minutes.

My stay at Oakwood was excellent. The room is spacious - including the bathroom and with kitchen and washing machine facilities. The room was very clean, including all the kitchenware and bathroom. My stay was extremely comfortable. The location is very close to the Metro station, and a few min walk to the azabu juban area with lots of shops, supermarket and restaurants. I also have to commend that the staff and concierge at the hotel are extremely helpful and responsive, they helped with my various requests promptly. I stayed in 2 different rooms, one of the rooms had the view of Tokyo tower. I will definitely be back!

the staff are really friendly and helpful! we needed help because we were going to the airport via train but we couldn't find a way down to it that didn't involve a ton of stairs. the staff pointed out the exact name of the exit we could use and showed us a map to let us know which one it was umbrellas are also offered for tourists to use. when we checked out and were about to lug out luggage to the train, it was raining quite hard. a staff offered to let us take an umbrella with us even if it meant that the umbrella won't return to them. we rejected it, but it was a nice and thoughtful answer the interior is very clean. we understand that the staff clean it once every 3 days. fresh towels and sheets are always replaced. shower's pressure is strong and warm. comes with a microwave, sink, bowls, utensils, cups, water boiler, fridge, all of which we utilised during our stay lvl 1 has a lot of comic books which give the place a lot of character and smtg to do in your downtime while in tokyo good view of the tower and accessible to many places. i have nothing bad to say about this place. it was a very pleasant stay

It is actually an ordinary apartment with some necessary facilities. If you just talk about living, Omotesando is downstairs, which is really convenient.
To find this place, you must first find the Starbucks next door, and then there is always a small shop with girls queuing on the left. Enter the building through the automatic door and walk to the elevator at the back.
The room is relatively clean, and there is a guy in charge of reception. He is ********* and speaks very gently and softly.
The room has towels, two bedrooms, and a kitchen. It is suitable for family travel. The main reason is that it is too convenient downstairs and has everything.

I didn’t have a toothbrush on the first day of staying for two days. Some Ctrip’s customer service wrote that it was very good and actively solved it. I was reimbursed for the toothbrush, but I had to go out to buy it in the middle of the night. There is no hot water and communication with the hotel for a long time, the hotel customer service response is slow and it takes an hour to solve it and will not go

I’m so very pleased I picked this hotel to stay at! The rooms are very comfortable, and I stayed in a “Comfort Twin” room which is definitely bigger than the average in the Kabukicho area, plenty of room to open up my luggage. Having a washing machine/dryer combo in the room was such a bonus, and they give you the detergent for it as a free service. No sitting around a laundromat waiting, just put your washing in and go out for the day! Chromecast to the TV, a microwave in the room, all the amenities you could want. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are excellent, and the location is perfect. I will definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserService at Section L Hamamatsucho was adequate, friendly but not overly attentive. While the decor is on the simple side, the functionality makes up for it. The rooms are apartments rather than hotel rooms, which means they come with kitchenettes and even washers and dryers – a big plus for longer stays or those who like to prepare their own meals.
Location-wise, Section L shines. It's a short walk from Daimon Station, putting you on the train network for easy access to all of Tokyo. Plus, the iconic Tokyo Tower is practically next door! This makes it a great choice for sightseeing adventures.
Pros:
Excellent Location: Close to Daimon Station and Tokyo Tower, perfect for exploring Tokyo.
Apartments, not Rooms: Kitchenettes and laundry facilities provide flexibility, especially for extended stays.
Practical Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with cable, and basic toiletries are all included.
Cons:
Simple Decor: Don't expect luxury finishes, but the space is clean and functional.
Limited Service: Staff is friendly but service is basic, with no on-site restaurant or spa amenities.
Overall, Section L Hamamatsucho is a good option for budget-minded travelers who prioritize location and functionality over extensive hotel services. If you're looking for a comfortable base to explore Tokyo and appreciate having laundry facilities and a kitchenette, this could be a great fit.
GGuest UserIt is rare to see such a spacious room in Japan. It is very quiet at night and I slept very comfortably. It is a rare good sleep. The transportation is also convenient and the price is right. It is very good. I will come again next time.

TterentiusI am really pleased with the hotel.
Location: a few minutes' walk from the Asakusa Toei line or Ginza metro line stations, though do note that there is no lift at the exits closest to the hotel. Many eateries within a stone's throw away, including ramen shops that open till late as well as a Matsuya that opens early for an affordable breakfast. About a 8 minute walk to a large, 24 hour Don Quijote. And of course, the namesake Kaminarimon and the Sensoji temple are within view. There is also a supermarket right at the ground floor of the hotel providing even more convenience.
Cleanliness: daily housekeeping and room and bathroom kept spotlessly clean.
Amenities: there is an excellent terrace for hotel guests only, with commanding views of the Skytree, the Sensoji temple, and the Asakusa area in general. No in-house onsen, but this is expected for this price range. Toiletries are provided.
Service: very warm and nothing was too much trouble for the team.
I did not take breakfast from the hotel so I cannot comment on that.
I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserIt is under new ownership and management. Name was changed but it is the previous Oak Hostel Fuji with the same beds and rooms. They renovated the kitchen lounge area. Looks nicer but the bed types are not comfortable to get in or out even if you had the lower bed. So, honestly it is overpriced as long as they have these painful beds. 5000 JPY will get you a private room at a hotel even around Tokyo. Or you can pay 1,000 JPY more to find a nice hotel around Asakusa or in Yokohama.

JJasonHotel is located about 10 minutes walk from Shinagawa Station, when heading back to hotel, is a good form of exercise, as property is located uphill, and with the summer heat hovering at 33’C, you tend to get wet with those constant perspiration, hotel is a bit in-flexible with check in & check out time, we were told only can check in after 3pm, for checking in slight earlier at 1pm, we were told to pay an extra JPY4000.00 per room, while checking out is at 11am, if you want to stay till say noon, you will be charged additional JPY2000.00 for an extra hour use.
Hotel does not have limousine bus services to airport, so if you are heading to Haneda with luggages, the cost is approximately JPY7000.00 including toll charge.

GgoicDORMY INN GLOBAL CABIN ASAKUSA Dormy Inn Asakusa is a hotel located along the Sumida River where you can stay at a reasonable price with a great view. From the rooftop public bath on the 10th floor and the footbath, you can enjoy a memorable view of Tokyo such as the Tokyo Sky Tree on the opposite bank. GGuest UserI chose this hotel for a business trip, and I feel a little relieved! Choosing a comfortable hotel laid the foundation for my smooth trip! The ladies and brothers at the front desk are very nice. They feel like they are from all over the world. They provide services in English. My English is average, but it does not prevent me from communicating smoothly with them. They respond to everything and are very professional! The room is also good, very clean and well designed. It is very large among the hotels I have stayed in Japan, and it seems to have won a design award. The location is also okay. It feels like a quiet residential area in a bustling city. It is very quiet at night. It is very chill to get up early and walk around! It is worth praising the laundry room next to the hotel. It takes 45 minutes to wash and dry, which is very convenient for business trips. I will consider booking again next time I bring my family here~

OohitorismagoI laughed next to the love hotel, but it was a decent guest house, and it was better to say a capsule hotel. There was a bathroom, but it was too dirty to enter because I was scared. Use only shower All amenities such as showers are available, including large towels. It's amazing for this price! Amenity is handed over in a dedicated bag, a system that returns everything at check-out. Use a dedicated disposable slipper. I think the location is good.

GGuest UserIn the evening, after a long flight, in the drizzling rain, we found it difficult to find the hotel at first. Fortunately, it only takes 7 minutes to walk to Shinjuku Station, and it is not far from the Tokyo Government Building. As long as you find it the first time, you won't have to worry about finding it again next time. The ramen coffee shop around the corner and the local convenience store offered a variety of simple and cheap food, which was especially helpful for our jet lag recovery. We don't eat hotel food. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the free Lavazza coffee from the machine in the lobby was great. Yes, the rooms are small, but that's common in Tokyo. We just sleep with it. The staff are friendly, I would book again for this price.
