Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort

I love this hotel very much, despite the difficulties it is currently experiencing. It is very green, in Balinese style, a little old, but you don't pay attention to it. It is wonderfully located in relation to the sea and the restaurants on the shore. Very nice terraces and balconies, birds and frogs sing. I saw its best times and hope that it will finally be restored. At the same time, I want to note the sluggishness of the beach cleaning, when we waited for the whole time for the fish thrown out to rot on the shore to be cleaned up, the grey bath towels, which are unpleasant to dry off with, and the strange attitude of the staff towards Russian tourists. Despite the availability of unoccupied rooms that suited my needs (I have joint problems and can't walk up and down stairs, and I asked for one bed in the room), I was initially placed in one of the rooms furthest from the sea, smelling of rotten meat, with a non-working air conditioner and lots of mosquitoes, with the promise of being moved the next day. When I contacted the lady at the reception at the appointed time, she said that the hotel was overbooked and there were only rooms on the 2nd floor left, and they were bad. I asked to find a way to move me to a better room as a regular customer. In response, I was offered a room next to the currently unused area, which, as I understood, was intended for service personnel, since when I was taken there, there were workers lying on the bed. Of course, this made me indignant and I promised to bring this information to the attention of the hotel management. With such an attitude, Russian tourists will stop coming to you, who are not the first time being placed in the worst rooms. In the end, I was moved to a room that had already been given to a tourist from another country who had not yet arrived. A strange attitude, after all. Otherwise, I am happy with the hotel, the staff, with the exception of some, is responsive and attentive, there were enough sun loungers. I would like the hotel to take on its previous appearance and level, since I plan to return here again.

Aging but nice hotel. Good location.

Great location right on the beach, beautiful garden, good concept of the complex. Unfortunately: the room and balcony doors have large cracks, so the air conditioning doesn't cool properly. The room furnishings are nicely designed. Only a stool, chairs or armchairs are missing. The stair banisters and balcony railings urgently need to be renovated. The pool water is much too warm. (About 30 degrees). The dark brown tiles mean you can't see whether the pool is clean or not. The hand and bath towels are grey and some have holes. Pool towels have stains. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.
