This is an all-villa hotel, each with a sea view, located between the mountains and the sea. This place is suitable for couples who stay at home. The food is delicious and the scenery is beautiful. This is the legendary wild luxury

Santai Hotel is located in the southern end of Amed. We stayed in an Ocean View Bungalow 2. It was slightly set back from the freeform pool with plenty of sun beds to relax. The air-conditioned bungalows are lovely. High set with a mezzanine which is where our daughter slept in a canopied double bed. Our bed was also with a canopy. The bathroom and shower is located outdoors giving it a very tropical feel. Each morning the staff would deliver a flask of boiling water for tea and coffee to the front balcony and I sat watching the fishermen push their boats out as the sun rose behind them. Incredibly peaceful. We had early starts being picked up by Adventure Divers each morning at 7:50am. Breakfast is not usually until 7:30am but we were accommodated by ordering the night before. This way we had time to enjoy a delicious Lumberjack hot meal with fruit and coffee. There is a nice Chinese restaurant across the road and ice cream next door. Plenty of warungs and resturants nearby or a short taxi to Jemeluk beach which has more resturants and bars. If you want a view there are some cheap resturants at Sunset Point area. The staff were incredible Komang at reception was very resourceful in arranging our every request. I don't have all the names but the staff were all super friendly and always keen to have a chat. This place has fantastic snorkeling right off the beach. It's easy without strong currents. We had our own equipment but they also hire it. Our daughter and I had an Emerald treatment. It was included in our package staying for 6 nights. I'm not sure exactly what it was meant to do placing 10 emerald stones on face, chest and belly button. We did both manage to have a snooze listening to the waves lapping up beside the outdoor spa bed . Would definitely recommend this property. Quiet, relaxing and lovely staff.

🌴 An Honest Take on Mejore Beach Hotel Amed 🌴 My partner and I, both in our fifties, recently spent some time at the Mejore Beach Hotel Amed. While the hotel's photos showcased its beauty, our experience had a few surprises in store. The beach lounger area was a bit smaller and busier than we anticipated, making it a bit challenging to find a comfortable spot. The vibrant atmosphere was enhanced by the presence of millennial guests enjoying their time in G-string swimwear or budgie smugglers but it did feel a bit crowded for those seeking a quieter retreat. We were looking forward to room service as advertised; however, we learned that food could only be enjoyed in the restaurant. This was a departure from what we had in mind for cozy in-room dining. Regrettably, the in-room safe was out of order, which left us without a secure place to store our valuables. Dining at the hotel's restaurant provided a mixed experience. While the food was average overall, the addition of melon fruit served alongside omelettes was a fail The shower only had 2 settings Fire Hose, and a trickly rain sprinkler, both underwhelming One thing to consider if you're planning a stay on a Saturday night is the neighbouring establishment's music. The music's volume was loud in fact felt like it was on the lawn, and might not be suitable for those seeking a peaceful evening. All in all, our time at Mejore Beach Hotel Amed had its ups and downs. It's important to weigh the lively atmosphere and the inconvenience of the advertised room service against the potential drawbacks for a more tranquil getaway. We come to Amed every 2 weeks and try different places, we will not be trying here again.

Firstly, the good: the room was spacious with an amazing sea view from the window and views of the village, jungle covered hills and Mount Agung from the wrap-around balcony. The sea is mere steps away and has gorgeous snorkeling just a few meters from the shore. Staff were attentive and helpful. Great cafes and warungs immediately around the hotel. We were pretty much in heaven. However - and this can easily be fixed - the shower drain in the bathroom lacks a gas trap, meaning sewage smells emanate from the drain the whole time. This meant we had to keep the bathroom, which is also poorly ventilated, closed at all times. The one time we went out forgetting to close the bathroom door, the whole room stank hideously. The staff were helpful, providing air freshener and incense to cover the smell, but a visit from a good plumber would fix this entirely. Aside from this glaring issue, I would highly recommend.

Hotel is quite satisfactory It is a hotel chain. It has it in all places in Bali Island. This family is a long time The room is very close to the sea The pool water is also OK There is a deep water area more than three meters Breakfast is very rich The restaurant by the sea is more general. Not recommended. There are ships that can go to sea. But it is recommended to go early This coast is generally less windy and waves than Rowena It will be big at noon or afternoon.

We have just stayed in Alam Candi for a week and have had the most relaxing time. We made a last minute booking and could not get in to our regular hotel but have to say this may now become our regular! The venue is more traditional style villas, private and peaceful. The hotel is 200m off the (very busy ) Main Street on the beach front and perfectly placed to escape the hustle and bustle at the other end of the drive way. The staff are a delight and very eager to ensure you have everything you need without being intrusive. We were very happy with the menu, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We also wandered out and had lovely meals at Rama Shinta and Aquaria. The Oceanside area was perfect for doing nothing, we watched the tide go in and out, the local fisher people with their daily activities and the choice of swimming in the pool or the ocean or just another To keep ourselves busy, we utilised the in house day spa which was just lovely and participated in a Balinese cooking class. The class was fun and informative and provided us with our dinner that night. Overall Alam Candi provides great value for money and we will be back. The service was five stars and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast, dining is also good, fresh and delicious. Love the hotel's infinity pool and watch the sunset here every day. The only thing that felt inadequate was that our room was near the road, and the sound insulation was not very good. I heard the roar of motorcycles at 11 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the Indonesians were lazy and quiet in the morning.

I have stayed here 8 years ago and that was the most amazing place I have stayed in my life. This time things changed, but it’s still a beautiful place. Very tranquil location, the garden is well maintained and looked after. Feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, so expect all kinds of animals all around.. the beds are very comfy and the rooms are clean. Some refurbishment would do wonders though.. It doesn’t seem like they did any work on the rooms in the last 8 years but the restaurant got renovated. So the price of the food got more expensive. We didn’t eat anything here this time as you can find cheaper and really tasty food around the town ( highly recommended Warung Budi Ayu- not just because of the food but the hospitality and kind talks ). Water garden is amazing if you want to experience something special.

The hotel's Candidasa feels like a less developed town, and many shops are closed. The hotel has a swimming pool restaurant spa and gym, and it is a good choice to play in the hotel. The restaurant and swimming pool are right by the sea but there is no beach. The hotel's environment is comparable to 4 or 5 star level hardware. The service staff is very patient, but the problem is that their work is not stress-free, but the efficiency is low, but the attitude and the ability to solve the problem are all good, slow, slow-paced life. The restaurant is good.

This is a lovely resort located on the water's edge. We stayed here for 4 nights. There are a variety of rooms available and we were very satisfied with the room we selected. We had a spacious porch with a nice dining table and two recliners nearby. We ate all of our meals on the premises and the restaurant staff were happy to deliver the food to our porch so we could enjoy our meals while watching the crashing surf of the Bali Sea. I will gladly stay here again.
