Fantastic gardens and a hotel that is a little old. The employees are almost all friendly. The rooms could use an update and there was a bit of a strong smell in my bathroom. In retrospect, I now think the room price of €105 including breakfast is a bit overpriced. There are certainly better options for this money.

Wonderful & tranquil feeling to be in the jungle. Well kept & clean. No lizards in the room. Big plus point. There's some small room to improve though in terms of maintenance. Hopefully things get better for them post pandemic. 2 nights is sufficient for the experience. A quick mental health recalibration.

Beautiful resort in a remote place. Get ready for high end pricing. Food is nice, but for the price average. There was a special dinner during the time of our visit, starring a Michelin chef from Zwitserland. That dinner was extremely disappointing. Breakfast is high end. Spa services are extremely overpriced, but good quality (but in nice resorts in Ubud they are comparable and half price). One big remark: the pool temperature (public pool and private pool) is too low. And staff is not able to fix it. For such a property quite a faux pas. Forget your floating breakfast; you will not be able to stay in the water till the end. Shuttle service limited and stops after 3 pm (so you won’t go anywhere else😉). Taxi is easy alternative by the way. 30 minutes till center.

Hotel is amazing and beautiful. The location is fantastic. Located 20mins from Ubud but taxis are cheap and they offer a free shuttle twice a day to and from Ubud. The food at the restaurant is outstanding, a mix of Balinese (highly recommend) and 'Western'. We couldn't imagine anywhere better to stay in or near Ubud. The service and people that work here are generous, kind, warm and lovely. Amazing experience. Suksma, Ayung Resort!

Advantages: The tropical rain forest happens to be on a hillside. The basic room is close to the valley, river and waterfall, so the room will be very humid. Of course, the room becomes more beautiful and expensive as the mountain goes higher! The room is really beautiful inside. The details are also good. The welcome drink chocolates and other chocolates are grown on local hillsides. It’s beautiful! Very beautiful! When I arrived at the hotel for the basic room booked by Ctrip, I found that it was at the bottom of a mountain and I had to walk a lot. The room was very humid and there was no sunlight. We upgraded to a room for around US$200 (after the upgrade, we had sunshine and a mountainside location). The breakfast was relatively ordinary, in the mountains and valleys, with wild herbs, eggs, and thick bread. Not impressed at all, the dinner was pretty good, the dishes were beautifully arranged, and the taste restored the taste of nature.
Disadvantages: 1. I almost died in this hotel! The short sleeves on the table were worn the next morning and a scorpion appeared! It’s a live scorpion🦂! He immediately smashed it to death with a bottle, but luckily he didn't get stabbed! Regarding the response from the Scorpion Hotel, thank me for killing the scorpion, otherwise they would have to find this scorpion again... blabla... it won't be a problem. At least it didn't get stuck, and I can't say anything. Is it due to the good environment and lots of vegetation? ! 2. Catching ants in bed at night🐜. It was also quite a fun experience. 3. The pooping gecko 🦎 fell from the curtain and scared me. The toilet is not fixed well and will shake. On the contrary, mosquitoes and other things are not a problem. When I went to bed at night, I heard the sound of small animals running around on the roof, maybe mice or squirrels. They were running around... It was very funny.
Conclusion: One night is enough to experience it! If you advocate environmental protection, there will definitely be more bugs. The air conditioning is very good and the air conditioning is very sufficient. I slept well and the bedding is also good. Play and get close to nature. The scenery is beautiful, that's all... It's okay to experience it once. It's like who is in the pavilion in the park... Hehe... The rooster crows continuously at 4/5 o'clock in the morning... Wow, so healthy!

Exceptional hotel. We really felt relaxed. The yoga, qi gong morning classes are amazing! From start to finish, this hotel was amazing, we spent 6 days here in Ubud and did lots of activities. Every single member of staff is a credit to this hotel. So helpful and nothing was to much trouble, communication was brilliant at all times, especially waiter ADI. Made our stay that extra special. Always went out his way to make our day. Telling us of great places to go and visit. The rooms are fabulous and always clean. Restaurant was great. Food exceptional. Loved the Easter night special. About 15 mins away from ubud town we called it ( market etc ) but free shuttle service was brilliant. We have been all over the world., and this is up there with the best of them. Highly recommend

I recently returned to Pramana for a second visit and it was just as impressive as the first. Tucked away in a jungle with a river view, it's a quiet, picturesque retreat, yet only a 15-20 minute drive from the bustling center of Ubud.
The staff here are the real stars – always friendly, helpful, and making sure your stay is comfortable. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the resort, from the well-kept rooms to the communal areas.
Morning yoga sessions in the serene surroundings are a highlight, providing a peaceful start to the day. The spa is excellent too, offering a range of relaxing treatments in a tranquil setting.
The food and drinks at the hotel were also good, every meal I had was very delicious.
Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Ubud center, making it easy to explore the area.
Ideal for couples, this place offers a romantic and secluded atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Overall, Pramana Watu Kurung offers a wonderful blend of tranquility, comfort, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Bali.

Go on a gastronomic adventure with a diverse selection of Indonesian, Mediterranean, and Japanese cuisines and well-being-conscious meals. With dedicated butlers and intuitive service, our resort in Ubud is the perfect place to both escape and discover. To truly experience the magic, one must simply be willing.

I have stayed in hundreds of luxury hotels around the world, and this hotel is considered to be among the best in terms of overall quality. The location, facilities, and services are all worthy of the word ”luxury” and I will definitely come back in the future.
The hotel is located at a corner of the Ayung River Valley. The exterior is integrated with the original forest landscape, but the interior is modern enough and has the characteristics of a rainforest hotel. There are only 60 rooms in the entire hotel, and various service staff can be seen everywhere busy or waiting for your call. Every waiter is extremely considerate and considerate, and many of the service details are impressive. Miss Justin's Chinese-speaking butler service is very convenient. Just send her a message and everything will be arranged immediately.
The Ayung River rafting project provided by the hotel is highly recommended. Although the price is much more expensive than outside, after experiencing it, I feel that you get what you pay for. The whole experience arrangement is very comfortable, and there will be surprises when you come back.
Two points are worth noting:
1. After all, it is a rainforest. There will be more mosquitoes when you ”enjoy the coolness” outside at night, but there are almost no mosquitoes inside the room.
2. The swimming pool of the Villa is very large, but the water is a bit cold this season. The temperature of the hotel's main swimming pool is more suitable.
Inspired by a traditional village Amandari is framed by jungle and rice terraces in Balis cultural heartland. Alang-alang-thatched houses some with pools - all with private tropical gardens - cosset guests under bamboo ceilings their suites elegantly decorated with teak and coconut-wood. The grounds are both sacred and essential to local families; children attend dance classes here and religious processions pass through regularly leading down the steps that spill below Amandari to a 7th-century stone tiger - a motif repeated throughout the property. Follow the road out of the village to hike or bike the emerald-green landscape or head further afield for artisan villages - hidden temples and the palaces and boutiques of Ubud.
Overlooking a tranquil lily pond the Spas offerings range from massages and manicures to traditional Balinese treatments.
Both Indonesian and Western dishes are specialities at the open-air Restaurant or dine intimately in the rainforest with a private chef.
Set amid aromatic frangipani trees and the enveloping warmth of a Balinese village Amandari is perfectly suited to special occasions of all kinds.

Visited Amandari in March 2024 with my husband and had the most splendid stay. The hotel and the rooms are absolutely stunning and I love the small touches throughout the room and property. The food was great and each meal was better than the last. I absolutely loved the signature Aman cocktails they had to offer. Love the shuttle service from the hotel to the Ubud market, makes it really convenient to step out. The location of the property is really stunning with the view of the valley and convenience to Ubud market, other sightseeing spots. We took the tours to Bali bird and reptile park, some temples and waterfalls, etc. through Aman and were extremely happy with the guides. Mega who was our guide was so sweet and informative and really went out of the way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Also definitely recommend the spa, one of the best massages I have had. Siwi was my therapist and was amazing! Michel (GM) is so delightful to meet and always a pleasure to talk to! All the staff were so sweet and helpful and would go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met, including at the reception when it came to organising our tours or the restaurants to cater to our food requirements. Will most definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis hotel is on a secluded part of the south coast of Bali, a short distance from Kuta. Our pool suite was vast, with the bathroom being open to the pool. Service is immaculate and the food is of a very high standard. The quality of the drinks, not so much, although when they opened their new Beach Club this should be rectified, according to staff. There are great deals to be had here. They have 24 hour security and airport pick up service. Staying for a few days could get your free breakfasts (that are very good) and other gifts. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserOur inaugural stay in Sanur, Bali, exceeded expectations. Situated by the beach with cafes in close proximity, the hotel's location was superb.
Initially booked for a pool access room, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Ocean View Pool Suite. The room, impeccably clean and beautifully adorned, featured a private pool with captivating views of both the pool area and the beach.
The staff's friendliness and helpfulness, coupled with twice-daily housekeeping checks, ensured our needs were consistently met. Our time here was thoroughly enjoyable, and a return visit is certainly on the horizon
DDanielleIt was amazing! The location is perfect, very close to airport, the service and breakfast is amazing.
Very friendly staff.
The room is a dream, the private pools are calm and cosy.
LleblebLoved our stay at Hava Ubud. The location was perfect , just 10-15mins away from Ubud central.and the amenities were all clean. Staffs were super friendly and constantly make you feel welcome and safe. They were also helpful in attending our request throughout our stay. Its a shame that we couldnt stay longer.
Only downside was the false advertising from TRIP.COM as the website shows a different picture than the actual rooms. For the deluxe room with bathtub, you actually have to top-up extra (~$1.5million rupiah) for it. Trip.com should specify the room amenities properly to prevent any mixups for other future guests.
Thankfully the service was top notched that made it ok to pay extra for the room we wanted.
My recommendation is to not book from trip.com but from a more reliable provider instead.👍

Whether you're lounging by the pool, indulging in a spa treatment, or exploring the beautiful island, Hilton Bali Resort delivers an unforgettable experience.
SSaowaluck PrommetDuring my stay at the hotel from July 14th to July 18th, I encountered several issues that I wish to bring to your attention:
Upon my arrival on July 14th, I had booked a room with a King bed, but upon arrival, I discovered that my room had a twin bed configuration instead. After requesting a change and mentioning that I am a ”Diamond Member,” the room was switched to a King bed within 10 minutes. However, there were no welcome amenities set up in the room.
On July 15th, I called reception (dialling ”0”) to inquire about breakfast and requested to invite my friend as part of my membership benefits. The receptionist took some time to check and later informed me that if my friend joined me, there would be an additional charge due to hotel policy regarding a third person. I was surprised that the receptionist was not aware that I was staying alone.
Throughout my stay, turndown amenities were never set up, which was disappointing as a ”Diamond” member. It seemed that the hotel overlooked this aspect of service.
On the day of my departure July 18th, which also happened to be my birthday, no one acknowledged this special occasion. During breakfast with my friend, I observed another guest receiving birthday wishes and a cake from the restaurant staff. When my friend informed the staff that it was also my birthday, it took another 10 minutes for a birthday cake to be brought to my table with a birthday song.
Overall, while the hotel's public areas were well-maintained and had a pleasant ambience, the service experience fell short of expectations. I believe there is room for improvement, particularly in ensuring that the service matches the level expected by loyal members like myself. Staff were generally kind and polite, but attention to detail and proactive guest recognition could be enhanced.
Thank you for your attention to these matters. I trust that my feedback will contribute to improving future guest experiences at your establishment.
GGuest UserVery disappointed stay! Stayed in October 2022 loved it loved everything. This stay we were not told about the breakfast not being buffet style well at least being dramatically downsized and put out the front at Papas Beach Cafe. The selections were bland and mostly asian style nothing like it was in October and that was why we rebooked! The pool deck is a accident waiting to happen very very dangerous. My daughter room key was re programmed at least 20 time is 6 days very very frustrating with 3 little boys in tow to have to go from 1 end of the property to the other to report it. On the good side the staff are amazing so friendly welcoming and 10/10 to the chef at Papa's cafe for inviting the 3 boys into the kitchen to make and prepare and serve the best Pizza's I have ever eaten. The Alam KulKul is in a great position and the staff are worth staying for but quite a bit needs to be done to make it great
GGuest UserAmazing hotel 1 the best in Kuta when it comes to the location, standards and keeping the resort clean and in perfect condition. Rare in Bali! the rooms are extremely comfortable, with full amenities and extremely well maintained. Beautiful Balinese style with high end products, similar standards with any international Hotels. Amazing pool size middle of a beautiful landscape, just hard to believe you are at the heart of Kuta. Breakfast is one of the best around Kuta too. So much choice to accommodate large nationalities, from Balinese, Indian, asia, continental, international etc… The staff is just amazing, extremely friendly and efficient. Nothing is perfect in life and things can happened! just address it to the front office and in the next 5 minutes someone will fix your issues, including technical issues you could have in your room. Ayu at the front office is a gem! what an asset to the Ramayana. She is so efficient and professional. Same with Endra at the Gabbah restaurant - what an amazing waiter! kindness and so professional with perfect English skills…. just another amazing asset to the Ramayana. The Resort manager is new and what a difference since he joined the Ramayana - he is everywhere, extremely friendly and really manage the property extremely well. My only negative comment will be the pool water temperature - too cold , the water should be heated same as any 5 starts hotel . Many guests were saying the same things…. pool water temperature should be warmer. Nevertheless it is my favorite hotel in Kuta 15 minutes away from the Airport in front of Kuta Beach….
GGuest UserWe have just completed a magical 10 days at Wyndham Jivva Beach. We are long term Wyndham members (owners) and have stayed at many of their hotels and resorts. Jivva Beach rates at the top of the list for us. It's just far North East of Denpasar to be out of the rat race but still within easy reach of Sanur and other tourist attractions. Apart from its idyllic setting, the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special mention to the head chef Gusti who has a wealth of experience at 5 star international hotels. His leadership ensured a high level of cuisine at every meal. And Wijaya, the food and beverage manager led a team of wait staff which would be hard to beat anywhere. There are no shops close by, but we booked half day tours using local drivers at very reasonable prices (IDR 600,000 for 5 hours), so we were able to visit many local attractions. We also took the ferry to the island of Penida across the Badung Strait ~ well worth the time to do this. We were surprised that the beach (which is very close), is made of black sand ~ not a problem for us, but maybe for some. In essence, we love Wyndham Jivva and intend to visit again in 2024.
GGuest UserWe stayed in this guesthouse for a week. We were looking for a quiet place to sleep, far from the chaos of Ubud, the bet is held. It's really isolated, in the middle of the rice fields. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. They are always there for you and if you have a question or request, they will go out of their way to answer it right away. The room is large and very clean. We asked for an upstairs room and got it. The bed is firm but comfortable. The rooms all have a terrace where you can eat, have breakfast or simply relax. The included breakfast is very simple (choice between omelet and pancakes, fruit juice, and fruit), but sufficient. You can pay extra for extras. There is no restaurant or bar in this guest house, so you will either have to go to the hotel not far away or order your food on Grab/Gojek. We opted for this second option, and it went very well, a huge choice, delivery in less than an hour if you order from a restaurant in Ubud. The staff can also take an order and your money and go 2/3 shopping for you for drinks displayed on the minibar. Every day they gave us a bottle of water each for free. The pool is nice and clean. The air conditioning is very efficient, sometimes even too much! It has to be settled. Sometimes we just ended up cutting it off. You won't be hot. Now, the negative points, because a good opinion must also mention the points to improve: Daylight which passes very easily, the curtains are not very glued to the window so from 5 am we began to have light. It's true that we Europeans are used to sleeping in the dark. In the room there was also a pipe noise, quite sharp, when people were using the water, whether it was us or neighbours. I don't know what it is, maybe a pump, pipes... I don't know if the problem is common to all rooms. Since I'm sensitive enough to noise to sleep, I opted for earplugs, problem solved. Count 3 to 5 euros one way to get around town by ordering a ride on Grab/Gojek. We had the reservation at a very good price because booked early and before the lifting of health restrictions, so we will say that we are very satisfied with our choice. I hope they will improve the two points mentioned above because those were the two things that bothered me.
