When check in, room still not available and have to wait. Manpower for cleaner seem not enough.
For buffet breakfast during weekend, the food seem not enough. Maybe too many guests during weekend.

The hotel is kinda old. The swimming pool tiles already drop off and there is a big crack between the kids pool and the adult pool. The swimming pool is very dirty as well. There is urine smell inside the toilet when we check in. I think it is due to the water drainage issue in the shower area. The bed is comfortable but I am suffering bed bugs bite on my leg now after I check out from the hotel yesterday. I am still suffering from the itchiness now. The sea side is full of rubbish. The basement car park is full of standing water pond everywhere.

My vacation started with booking a room easily via trip.com the night before traveling day. Check in and check out from hotel without any hassle. Booked superior twin room facing the sea as per recommendation by many travellers for 2 nights. Love looking at the sea from our room, however there were rainy days during our stay here. Beds are nice and comfy. Bathroom is spacious. Breakfast was ok with varieties of choices. Hotel provide room service and there is a shop open in the evening where you can have dinner and a convenience shop. Had a nice stay worth the room price. Thank you trip.com and amerald hotel.

the location of the hotel is good, beside the beach, hotel breakfast is good, variety of choices. however, the clealiness of hotel need to be improved.

Hotel is a little dated and in need of a fresh coat of paint. Rooms had a weird smell, not sure if its due to humidity or from the toilet itself. Breakfast was mediocre at best, nothing to shout about.
On the bright side, the hotel was located right at the beach, where it was easy to get to. That being said, there's not much facilities at the beach. Staying for one night is fine, but anything more would've been not recommended.

Overall, staff are friendly and communicative to our requests for the change in rooms, and other miscellaneous items. Guests services staff, Sharifah was commendable in ensuring the problems that we had was rectified promptly. Breakfast options are average at best, can be improved. The restaurant Sea & Food was surprisingly very good, dishes were very delicious.
