The breakfast is great. There are many choices of Chinese, Western and Thai food. This alone is a great value. The room is not big but clean and tidy. The service is very good and responsive. It is near Chinatown and close to the subway. The transportation is convenient to check out the famous food in Chinatown. The only drawback is that rooms facing the street may be noisier. There are motorcycles passing downstairs at night. Motorcycles can legally damage the streets in Thailand. If you mind, please tell the front desk in advance when you check in. In summary, highly recommended!

The hygiene is good, but there are many geckos. Although they did not bite people on the Internet, they looked very disgusting. Changing the room with the boss resulted in more!

From check-in, to check-out, this was an awful experience. At the check-in, they appeared to have no record of our booking and we had to show them the website we had booked with. The reception area looked authentic Chinese style and we had high expectations that things would continue with the same theme. This hotel is clearly a refurbished hotel and done with a Chinese twist (being in Chinatown it's not difficult to see why!), however it has been done on a very low budget and standard. The first (and in my opinion) the worst) fault is the room entrance door. It is a narrow double door and secured on the outside of the room (only) by a hasp and (very cheap) padlock. The hasp is secured by only 2 screws, so simply unscrew the 2 screws on the outside of the door - and you are inside, in seconds. Hardly a secure solution when all the guests possessions are in the room. Even without undoing the lock (or removing the hasp, the door pushes open (when locked) sufficiently to use a long rod or pole and 'hook' up the guests possessions inside the room. On the inside of the room door - there are 2 very poor quality bolts at the top of the door - which is the only means of securing the room when it is occupied and/or the guest is sleeping. The room is pretty small at 18sq.m but we knew that when we booked so cannot complain, and it overlooks a busy Chinatown side street which unfortunately has a steel fabrication shop a few doors away and we could hear steel being cut with electric saws from dawn to dusk. Then at dusk a couple of street food stalls opened up opposite the hotel, so there was the noise from that for half the night too, but we shouldn't complain as this is Chinatown. In the bathroom the floor seemed to be constantly wet and it wasn't long until we found out why. there is a wooden sink cabinet in the bathroom next to the shower (bad design there), but when the waste water was emptied down the sink drain, the waste water didn't go down the drain pipe where its connected to the wall, but instead emptied itself all over the bathroom floor. We complained about this to reception and a staff member came to look but said there was nothing she could do as neither a technician or a manager was available. We told her we were not happy about standing in waste water, and so she gave us a towel to put on the floor and stand on that instead! From the condition of the cabinet, this had been leaking for weeks or even months and was not a new problem. In addition, the shower spray hose holder was broken and the hand held shower was simply propped up against the wall. We read online that there was a bar/restaurant on the roof terrace and from the online pictures, looked lovely with all the red lanterns lit up at night - however when we went up there to the 5th floor it was in complete darkness, so we assumed was closed. We were going to ask at reception, however there was nobody on duty behind the reception desk, just a sign which read ”reception will return

Below the hostel there is a cafe where the desserts are delicious. Both the cafes and the hostel are beautifully decorated. Use color tones and lights that give you a warm feeling. Although the space inside the hostel is limited, it is perfectly allocated, which makes you feel open, airy and uncomfortable. Aad the room therefore makes the room clean all the time. The hostel owners and cafe providers are very polite and kind. The hostel is located near both Hua Lamphong mrt and Sam Yan mrt, which makes it easy to travel. There are also buses running through as well. The area around the hostel is a community with many shops and restaurants. Convenient for both traveling About food and relaxation It is a very good accommodation at the price. If there is a chance to come back and stay here again.

Quite how this hotel has any +ve ratings I do not know. Accidentally booked the wrong dates, but was unable to change them a month before, despite phoning and messaging, so had to book an extra night and swallow the cost; that could be considered my fault. Right, here we go: When we arrived there were a couple of bleeding great rats in the trash out the front. Reception area was full of kid’s toys and random furniture. Lift lobby had a pile of old TVs and multiple old fridges laying around. Room number hanging off door. Room full of old furniture, TV. Cling film over light switches. Garden gate lock to door. The whole room reminded me of The Shining. We left after using the WiFi to book another hotel. No manager available and the lady on reception seemed nonplussed to see us go. Will be contacting Hotels.com to suggest it is not a suitable establishment to stay. See photos. PS I’ve stayed in plenty of rough hotels, but never walked out before.

Beautiful place! If I could visit Bangkok again, I’d still stay here! The owner is very nice and helpful. Their staff and crew are always alert if you need them. The only downside is that the sheets stinks, the pillowcase stinks, and the bathroom is unkempt.

Very big and beautiful place in a very good location which is central to everything like markets and airports. All the staff are friendly. Rooms needed a dusting or something before we went in… we found a few dead cockroaches. The chairs and lounge need replacing they have little to no cushioning anymore and feel like they will break soon. Other than that it was clean and tidy. The swimming pools were all clean and beautiful! Would go again.

Hotel is in the prime location but as per the photos in the app while booking it was not like same. This is first time when a hotel charge for luggage handling when you checkout and go for 3 to 4 hours outside before taking the flight. Beds are making sound while you take a side also.

The location of this hotel is incredible. The street outside never sleeps, however, the busyness of the outside does not affect you in your room. The soundproofing for the hotel is really good. Overall, the stay was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. A note though, it was very troublesome that they would close very early, the pool bar closes at 7:30 PM, all of the communal spaces are inaccessible after 8 PM, we were unable to use toilets in the communal spaces on the first, second and eighth floor because they were locked and that didn’t make any sense. Also, it seems that after 8 or 9 PM, all the staff are redirected to the adjoining nightclub that the hotel has, which is quite frustrating if you need help inside the hotel.

Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat hotel and great staff. We were well looked after by concierge Pai and his guys, and the cleaning, pool and front desk staff were all competent, friendly and helpful. My wife lost her phone and they found it for her; it rained and they had umbrellas for us and helped book taxies and Grab cars. The hotel is very new and the room was super modern and very well decorated, with a big new TV and great amenities. The bed was superb and the pillows were to die for. We were there for a week and this was one of the best hotel stays we have had in recent times and I highly recommend it. This is a very well-run hotel so I commend management as well. It does the Marriott group proud. Also, location is great just minutes from Asok BTS and MRT. Lots of food options on this Soi 20, as well as Soi's 22 and 18
FFaiz SupaatOne of the best hotels in Bangkok. Service was very good, staff were polite and helpful. The room is very clean and in great condition. Love that there’s a lot of amenities including a very huge gym. Location is also very good as it’s just next to BTS and MBK Center. I also loved the breakfast. There is quite a variety to choose from. The only downside is the wifi in the room is not very stable and can be quite laggy. Overall, I will definitely come here again!
SSerenity B.First and foremost it should be stipulated up front you need a CASH deposit (1000 baht).
Very clean and modern hotel room. Overall good value for the price considering it has a microwave and a full fridge/freezer. No utensils, though. 2 bottles of water and coffee packets provided
The bathroom is a bit small but just right for one person with enough space to manuever from the toilet, shower, and sink. Soap provided
Surprisingly there is no safe in the unit. The bed is a typical Thai hard bed. There is an attempt to make it softer by using a mattress topper but it is still stiff. Shower is decent.
7 Eleven is a 3 minute walk away.
Very inaccurate that there is an ”airport shuttle”.
What they offer is to drop you off at a Sky Train Station.
You still need to walk to Departure area.
The sign in the lobby says the airport shuttle is 800BAHT one way which is absolutely ridiculous!
Although the airport is 3km away, it took 18 minutes and cost 148 baht on GRAB to be dropped off right in the departure lane.
Recommend downloading the GRAB app and don't bother with the hotel shuttle service
I found the front desk staff and security to be hospitable and had no concerns with the service.
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!
GGuest UserAbsolutely recommended hotel, lobby feels like a 5* hotel and actually costs more expensive than many other 4*. Room is quite small but shower is fantastic, as well as bed comfort, also easy to manage the lighting in the room, plenty of buttons everywhere. Location is a bit far from BTS, located on side street between Asok and Phrom Phong, so both stations are equal walking distance. Breakfast was quite good, but not superb, with enough options. We stayed just 1 night so didn’t use a pool. Overall great hotel, I would stay here again.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for two nights while we were in Bangkok. The building is very nice and clean, our room was very well laid out. Roof top pool was nice as was the buffet breakfast. Good location with lots of places within walking distance or easy access to taxis and Tuk Tuks. Best part was the staff, friendly and professional service. Special thanks to front desk staff member Sawassakorn. He helped us out with taxis around the city, a local restaurant and arranged for a car to drive us to the airport.
AAndrewTanthe hotel is at good location, walking distance to mrt and siam mall. However, the hotel need to improve their soundproof, I can hear the people walking passby the room, talking outside of the room and etc.
SSleepingbaby SawEnjoyed my stay in Hotel Furama Silom from 30th April 24 to 4th May 24. The room size and the bathroom are spacious, they also provide big bottles of Shower lotion and Shampoo with nice fragrance. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi decent and Air-con was good and cold.
Very good location and the transportation to Central World is very convenient. Close to 7-eleven just 2 doors down from the hotel. Overall, great value for money.
GGuest User5 of 5 I love the location close to BTS and MRT, great place and convenient. Good for single and families, close to all the action and terminal 21 mall. It is brand the I Check through out Thailand. Rooms are good size and clean. Staff are polite and helpful, there are 24 hour front desk.
GGuest UserWhile the photos look great and the rooms were clean and fresh the approach is very daunting you walk down a narrow graffiti alley for almost 1 minute past garbage bins ,discarded trolleys, construction and just when you are sure you are in the wrong place you see the glass doors with the words ADAMAZ hotel engraved upon their tinted surfaces. We arrived during the day but had it been a late night arrival I would never have walked to the end. If first impressions matter to you then this is not the place for you. Once inside rooms were comfortable and staff were helpful -
