The log cabins have a wonderful ambiance, with a clean and beautiful courtyard. The surrounding area is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The rooms are impeccably clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the water and underfloor heating works very well. Even though it gets cold in Hemu at night, the rooms are very warm. There's a reliable 24-hour hot water supply, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet. The amenities are top-notch for a guesthouse in Hemu. The owner even prepared breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup for us – a truly thoughtful touch.

Beyond a five-star experience! The room was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities were excellent. Bvlgari toiletries were provided, and they thoughtfully prepared earplugs, disposable bath towels, regular towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleanser, makeup remover pads, and even hydrating face masks! With both underfloor heating and radiators, the room was perfectly warm. Welcome snacks were provided in the room, and in the evening, they even delivered fruit wine, additional snacks, and warm milk! Outside, there was a charming small courtyard with two swings – one overlooking the valley, the other facing the expansive grassland. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Watching herds of horses slowly make their way home across the grassland at sunset was a truly delightful experience! What impressed me most was that the hotel contacted us in advance, provided a comprehensive travel guide, and enthusiastically helped with directions, answered all our questions about local attractions, and offered excellent suggestions. They even helped arrange a car for us to see the morning mist. Although the fog was too thick to see the river, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. It's an absolute secluded paradise, truly living up to its 'hidden gem' reputation!

The guesthouse boasts an old-fashioned, understated, and cozy atmosphere. The common areas are perfect for relaxing with tea and conversation, far superior to those cheaply made trendy spots. It's conveniently located near the Hemu River and the Yuanjiang Bridge, ideal for families and photoshoots. On our second day, which happened to be Laba Festival, they thoughtfully provided Laba porridge for breakfast. The most delightful surprise was the overall experience. The owner was incredibly talkative, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the two cats, Xiaobai and Huaban, were exceptionally well-behaved – the best guests in the common areas. We even bumped into their dog, Dahuang, at the Hemu Bridge. Despite never having met him before, he recognized us by scent alone and led us back to the guesthouse. I'd never encountered such an intelligent dog before. They say pets resemble their owners, and the owner is clearly a gentle and warm-hearted person.

Perfect stay for a visit to Kanasi National Park. Beautiful B&B at the end of the tourist village, across a stop of the free public bus bringing tourist to the parks entrance. The owner directly welcomed us, our luggage was put in front of our room while we did the check in. No problem for me as a foreigner. Room was spacious, tidy and well equipped. No A/C, but temperatures at night drop low enough for a comfortable sleep (late June). Breakfast was basic Chinese, coffee available. We had to shorten our stay due to a personal matter. Despite no free cancelation policy, the owner agreed to shorten our stay by 1 night and refund us the money. Everything handled over the Trip App in English.

A perfect stay! Upon arrival, the owner warmly helped with my luggage and thoughtfully provided information on nearby attractions (sunset platform, local lama temple, photogenic birch forest). Nice…👍 While I don't have many words to describe the comfort and cultural experience of Wushangyin, I'll share my honest feelings! The decision to travel during off-peak season and the missed autumn scenery made me quite apprehensive! However, the magnificent mountain road leading into the scenic area, the adorable little foxes 🦊, the host's hospitality, and the warmth and comfort of the wooden cabin made it all the more pleasant in the chilly autumn mountains! The room was spotless, and the housekeeper was incredibly attentive, quickly resolving any issues. Highly recommended! As the saying goes: ”The wind and moon bring peace to the heart, and the world is at ease.” Although I missed the fairytale-like autumn scenery, I witnessed a truly beautiful winter wonderland (snow at dusk and a stunning starry sky at dawn). My annual holiday was worth it! I'm already looking forward to my next holiday!

The hotel's location is very convenient, and we received a free room upgrade. There's a food court a few hundred meters behind the hotel, and a bus stop right at the intersection. As we were about to drive out, the concierge kindly reminded us that we could leave our car at the hotel, as the visitor center had no parking available for the next two days. When we arrived at the visitor center and saw '0 parking spaces' everywhere, we were so glad we listened to the advice. The concierge also knew we missed breakfast and packed some pastries for us to take away. Thumbs up for the hotel's warm service!

The room was spotless, and the location in the old village is perfect. It's right by the Hemu Bridge, just off the Qiaotou station. You can see the Hemu River from the window and hear the sound of the flowing water, which was incredibly convenient for catching the morning mist at Haden (the second picture was taken right outside the room). They also have a restaurant, and I highly recommend their fried rice noodles, stir-fried noodles with shredded pork, baked buns, and spicy roasted naan – all delicious! The prices were quite reasonable for a scenic area. Finally, a huge thank you to the hotel manager and the Hemu Scenic Area staff! After leaving the scenic area and heading onto the Ahe Highway, I realized my bag was missing, and my ID was inside. I urgently contacted the hotel manager, who helped me find it. Then, the scenic area staff connected me with someone who brought it to the visitor center, allowing me to catch my flight! I'm truly, truly grateful!

Amazing hostel! Located conveniently. Yes on the pricier side but that is just the norm in Hemu village. For that price you get a great coffeeshop thats part of the hostel with some of the best staff I’ve met on my travels that gives a real sense of community and home. Always friendly and extremely helpful. The owner is also involved and shows genuine care for the operation, guests and staff. As close to a perfect hostel experience as you can get! Highly recommend this to all looking for a place to sleep in Hemu village or when visiting the ski resort.

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and we received a free room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive. It was very convenient for getting around and sightseeing, with a dedicated car pick-up and drop-off. We didn't even have to wait in line at the front desk; check-in was directly in our room. They patiently introduced us to local attractions and activities. The overall experience for dining, accommodation, and touring was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I truly recommend it to everyone!

We drove to Altay for this trip, and after doing a lot of research, we decided on this hotel. After staying there, I feel like we made the right choice. We arrived at the hotel in the evening after a full day of driving. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive and quickly helped us check in. The room was even better than the pictures; it was meticulously cleaned, with not a single stain on the floor or in the bathroom, and the bedding felt dry and comfortable. The biggest surprise was the environment. The temperature in the mountains was perfect for summer, and when we opened the window, all we saw were lush mountains and forests. It was so quiet at night, with no bothersome noise, so after a long day of travel, we slept incredibly soundly.
