Guest UserThe guesthouse boasts an old-fashioned, understated, and cozy atmosphere. The common areas are perfect for relaxing with tea and conversation, far superior to those cheaply made trendy spots. It's conveniently located near the Hemu River and the Yuanjiang Bridge, ideal for families and photoshoots. On our second day, which happened to be Laba Festival, they thoughtfully provided Laba porridge for breakfast. The most delightful surprise was the overall experience. The owner was incredibly talkative, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the two cats, Xiaobai and Huaban, were exceptionally well-behaved – the best guests in the common areas. We even bumped into their dog, Dahuang, at the Hemu Bridge. Despite never having met him before, he recognized us by scent alone and led us back to the guesthouse. I'd never encountered such an intelligent dog before. They say pets resemble their owners, and the owner is clearly a gentle and warm-hearted person.

Guest UserGeographical location: Right at the entrance of Kanas Scenic Area, Jiadengyu, very convenient for travel
Surroundings: The hotel's exterior looks like a small Switzerland, super beautiful, see pictures
Room facilities: Beautiful, clean and well designed. The electric heater is very warm and it is not cold at all at night.
Restaurant: The chef at dinner cooked delicious dishes, and we went back to the hotel for dinner every night. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm on the first day. The chef worked overtime and waited for us to arrive before cooking. It was so considerate.
Breakfast: The breakfast included in the room rate could be richer. The coffee and snacks we ordered were very good. Thank you to the chef for working overtime early in the morning on the first day to make delicious brown sugar rice cakes for us. Unfortunately, there were too many customers the next day and we couldn't order snacks, but we could still order coffee. The latte tasted very fragrant and the milk was very pure.
Service: Enthusiastic and thoughtful, proactive in helping with luggage delivery, very satisfied

Guest UserEnvironment:
You absolutely have to book a stay in the old village, as it's much more convenient. The new village is also a B&B right next to each other, but it's not as convenient. I originally wanted to book a stay in Yijing, but because I booked too late and there weren't enough rooms, I gave up. After comparing Yijing and Wushangyin, I ultimately chose Wushangyin. My stay confirmed my decision!
Location:
The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of the food court, though there isn't much good food there. You can take bus No. 2 or No. 3, which is two stops to Qiaotou Station, which is a ten-minute walk. Qiaotou Station is the central business district of Hemu Village, and KFC is right there.
Facilities:
Ansheng Villa and Wushangyin are located in separate courtyards, about 100 meters apart. The owner said Ansheng Villa only has four rooms. Surrounded by neatly arranged B&Bs, the view isn't very wide, but after a day of snow, the first clear day offered a beautiful view from the window. The interior is well-appointed, and the doors and windows are of excellent quality. There's also a slight foul smell from the sewers, which seems to be a common problem in Kanas and Hemu. We booked two rooms, a single-family room and a suite, located next door. The single-family room was larger and had a bathtub, but I doubt the electric water heater would have been able to handle the water usage. The suite was smaller, but had the advantage of a spacious shared living room. There was also a washing machine in the common area. During the snowy weather, which made it difficult to go out, I did a load of laundry. Although there wasn't a dryer, Xinjiang is even drier than Beijing, and even my fleece clothes dried in the underfloor heating.
Dining:
Breakfast was at Yinshi Fuguang Restaurant. It was quite crowded during the National Day holiday, so the food was average. The buffet was closed the next day, so we had tomato and egg noodles and beef noodles. They were better than the buffet and warm and comfortable. Yinshi Restaurant's main course was also good, with reasonably priced home-style dishes.

Diaozhuoshiguang-huanlexingBy chance, I booked a stay at You Shan Ya Ju, and my experience far exceeded expectations. It's located in the core area of Jiadengyu, making it very convenient to catch shuttle buses to Kanas and Hemu, saving you the fatigue of back-and-forth travel. The room was clean and spacious with complete amenities, and it was quiet at night, perfect for resting after a day of exploring. Overall, it offers great value for money and is an excellent base for a trip to Kanas. Highly recommended for those traveling by car.

XiaoxingyunailvxingBurqin is the first stop to Altay. There will be no direct flights from Shanghai to Altay in September, so we have to transfer in Lanzhou. The flight takes off at 6:55 and arrives in Altay at 15:00. You can rent a car and drive to Burqin for an hour and a half. After checking in, we went to the Internet Celebrity Bridge and then went to the food court opposite the hotel for dinner. The location of the hotel is also good. Together with Lavande, Lavande also comes here to have breakfast. Breakfast is quite complete, no freshly cooked noodles. The Yixiangyuan cold water fish dish I had for dinner in Burqin was the most delicious mutton kebab I had eaten in Altay for four days. It reminded me of the unforgettable mutton kebab I had on the Yizhao Highway three years ago. The price was 6 yuan/skewer. Also affordable. Zheka drove to Hemu and set off at 11 o'clock. After stopping and stopping, we arrived at 16:00, almost 5 hours.

Boli1I want to highlight the location of this hotel first. It's right near Hemu Bridge, just a short walk away. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious enough to spread out your luggage. The hot water is quick, and the bedding is comfortable. What's even better is that it's very close to the bustling area – the night market doesn't quiet down until 11:30 PM – but this place is completely unaffected by the noise. Definitely my top choice for accommodation in Hemu.

Lucas optenAmazing hostel! Located conveniently. Yes on the pricier side but that is just the norm in Hemu village. For that price you get a great coffeeshop thats part of the hostel with some of the best staff I’ve met on my travels that gives a real sense of community and home. Always friendly and extremely helpful. The owner is also involved and shows genuine care for the operation, guests and staff. As close to a perfect hostel experience as you can get! Highly recommend this to all looking for a place to sleep in Hemu village or when visiting the ski resort.

Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and we received a free room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive. It was very convenient for getting around and sightseeing, with a dedicated car pick-up and drop-off. We didn't even have to wait in line at the front desk; check-in was directly in our room. They patiently introduced us to local attractions and activities. The overall experience for dining, accommodation, and touring was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I truly recommend it to everyone!
