The hygiene was generally poor, especially the bathroom which wasn't cleaned properly. The toilet seat was too narrow and cheap, definitely 2-star standard, and not worth the price. There were too many tiny bugs in the room, even on the bed. I found a total of 5 of them, locally known as ”xiaoyao” (small biting gnats), which bite and cause itchy welts that take 4-5 days to disappear. The front desk told me when I checked in that these bugs don't bite, but I got 3 bites after checking in – very misleading. I later learned that these bugs are somewhat related to the local climate, but there shouldn't be so many in a hotel room, right?

Elsa at the front desk was incredibly helpful. I'd added her on WeChat back in the winter, and when I was planning this trip, I casually asked her about the current situation. To my surprise, she meticulously and thoughtfully provided all the relevant details, including nearby attractions and itineraries I hadn't even considered. This really sealed the deal for me, and I decided to head straight to Holiday Inn. If it weren't for her thoughtful introductions, I, being someone who's both lazy and prone to fatigue, likely wouldn't have made the five- or six-hour drive. I also want to commend Xiao Liu from the restaurant. Seeing him greet me instantly brought back memories of how he quietly looked after me in the restaurant last winter. My sincere thanks again to both of them for their care! The attached photos show the view from my room and the complimentary cable car scenery that came with the stay.

The underfloor heating was wonderfully warm. You could open the window or the door and immediately see the snow-capped mountains. The service was enthusiastic and proactive, the facilities were brand new, and everything was clean and hygienic. The bathroom amenities smelled lovely, and the courtyard was beautifully designed.

Nice place higher up than the main tourist zone so it's quiet and there's great views of the mountains. You can walk the shortcut down and take the bus back up which is super convenient. The lovely staff greeted us at the bus stop and had good tips and recommendations. The rooms were clean and spacious with great views from the upstairs bedroom. Breakfast was tasty and diverse too. And the resident dogs are friendly and might follow you into town. Would stay again.

The cabin is lovely and well-equipped, with spacious, clean, and tidy rooms. Its location is very close to the scenic area station, about a 5-minute walk to catch the shuttle bus, allowing you to enjoy the area until past 11 PM. Luggage pick-up and drop-off service is provided, which is very thoughtful. We had dinner and breakfast here, and the food was delicious. You can also take a one-stop bus ride to the food street for more options. Staying in the cabin is peaceful and quiet at night, yet you can experience the lively village atmosphere during the day, which truly lifts your spirits!

Staying at Hemu Yijing was an amazing experience! The guesthouse is in a superb location, right by Qiaotou Station, making it super convenient for dining and shopping, yet it's still quiet and peaceful. The room facilities are complete and exactly as pictured on the platform – it even had a Dyson hairdryer, a projector, and a Bluetooth speaker. The toiletries were plentiful, and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 nights. I booked this accomodation because trip.com indicated this is a non smoking room. When we got into the room we can noticed straight away strong cigarette smell. I saw an Ash tray in the room that was just used. To reduce the cigarette smell I opened the door and windows and put the Ash tray into a plastic bag and tightly sealed it. Prior to check in we had a problem caused by the luggage transfer staff at Kanas Lake and the lady boss was kind enough to fetch one of us again to the luggage release point at Jiadengyu car park station. Fresh fruits were supplied daily to our room. We are happy with that. The location of the accommodation was not near to the shuttle bus stop as compared to many hotels in the vicinity. The bathroom has no wall hook and towel rails for hanging clothes and towels. This makes bathing not easy especially in the cold autumn weather. Disposable paper bath towels was provided and it was uncomfortable to use besides being inefficient to remove water and moisture from the body. One of the lamps on the ceiling was not working. The curtain has a part that was dislocated and not fixed. Glass with no handle was provided and when it's filled with hot water it's difficult and dangerous to hold as you can drop the glass easily if you are not very careful. The elderly lady at the accommodation was very helpful and told us to use the common area chairs to put our bag as no luggage rack was provided in the room. The shower head in the bathroom was made of metal of inferior design and one of us burned our hand when bathing.

The whole family was very satisfied! The grounds are spacious, so both adults and children can move around freely. The room facilities are well-maintained, and all kinds of daily necessities are fully stocked. The breakfast selection is rich, catering to both northern and southern tastes. The staff are genuinely friendly and even offer thoughtful travel tips. Choosing this place for a family trip made things very easy and stress-free.

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and we received a free room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive. It was very convenient for getting around and sightseeing, with a dedicated car pick-up and drop-off. We didn't even have to wait in line at the front desk; check-in was directly in our room. They patiently introduced us to local attractions and activities. The overall experience for dining, accommodation, and touring was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I truly recommend it to everyone!

The room was huge, located in Xincun. There were bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, but they had a strong odor; they really should add some air fresheners. Breakfast offered about a dozen items. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Hemu Villa, and the driver was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle drops you off about 300 meters away. The front desk staff, however, were very cold and lacked any service awareness. They wouldn't respond to my WeChat messages about anything other than checking in. It was quite frustrating, to be honest. To get to the old village, you need to take the scenic area shuttle for three stops. The old village is much livelier and has more dining options.
