Perfect
AAstrxdThe environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!
GGuest UserStumbled upon a hidden gem in Pu'er – the Muyun Garden Hotel! After staying here, I just want to recommend it to everyone!
This hotel is like a secret garden nestled within the city. The orchid and bougainvillea are in full bloom, and an evening stroll here is incredibly therapeutic. The rooms are designed in a modern Wabi-sabi style, with natural wood textures and soft lighting. You can enjoy the garden view right from your bed, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a perfect night's sleep.
The smart home features are incredibly convenient. You can control the lights and air conditioning with a smart assistant, and there's also a washer-dryer combo and an air purifier. The bathroom boasts Hansgrohe fixtures and Jo Malone toiletries, adding a touch of luxury.
The service truly warmed my heart: the front desk proactively offered tea and helped with my luggage, and they were responsive 24/7. In the lobby, there's free freshly ground coffee, unlimited snacks, and ice cream. The breakfast, featuring local rice noodles and black-bone chicken soup noodles, is incredibly authentic.
The location is also fantastic – just a 10-minute drive from the high-speed train station, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. For those driving, there are EV charging stations available. If you're visiting Pu'er, staying here is comfortable and hassle-free. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserExceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave !
Def great value for money !
AAdaHuang_This hotel is a comprehensive wellness resort with excellent facilities, including hot spring pools, an infinity pool, and a health clinic. The entire hotel has over 260 rooms, spread across several buildings, offering both standard rooms and villas.
The front desk upgraded me to a mountain view room upon check-in, and when I provided feedback at check-out, they also gave me a tea gift.
I found interesting folk handicrafts at the gift shop.
Service could be improved. The promised welcome fruit was never delivered, and there was no proactive introduction to the hotel's facilities or the various experience packages. When I inquired, most of them were unavailable for booking.
The afternoon tea pastries were not impressive.
The restaurant had very few non-spicy options, and the selection was too limited.
The second-floor platform needs better management. Also, guests in the lobby on the first floor were still being noisy late at night.
Overall, it's much better than the established quiet luxury hotels nearby, but there's still room for improvement.
GGuest UserThe treehouses at Ctrip Holiday Farm boast breathtaking, elevated views, offering a sweeping panorama of the terraced fields and farmland below. The scenery is truly idyllic. Inside, the treehouses feature new, modern facilities and are impeccably clean. The entire staff is incredibly warm and hospitable, always going above and beyond to assist guests. A special commendation goes to staff member Zhao Zhen, who personally guided us to the adjacent Laodabao village. His passionate and professional explanation of the Lahu ethnic minority's history was delivered with such eloquence that it left a profound and memorable impression on us.
GGuest UserThe most pleasant and satisfying accommodation experience of this Spring Festival trip, whether it is the design and decoration of the room, the hospitality of the tea room cafe, or the delicious food, the boss's intentions are reflected in every detail, and the communication like a friend makes people feel warm and warm. The pet-friendly makes me worry-free, and I will definitely come back next time I go to Pu'er!
AAnonymous UserThe first established hotel as you enter the mountains, with plenty of parking spaces right across the street, which is very convenient. It's a bit far from the attractions, so you'll need a car. They offer butler-style service; they'll contact you the day before to provide the address, travel tips, and other information. The hotel has a good variety of activities planned, including roasted milk tea, stir-fried melon seeds, and bonfires in the evening. The hotel's dinner was just okay, with plenty of room for improvement. Breakfast on the rooftop had a great ambiance and taste. The rooms aren't luxurious but are perfectly adequate. The air conditioning was a bit old and didn't heat very well. I didn't have time to experience the travel photography session. It was really expensive during Chinese New Year, haha.
GGuest UserThe hotel's service is too thoughtful and welcoming, which is very touching. Not only did I pick up the luggage and deliver it to the room, but also immediately sent a cup of aromatic chrysanthemum tea... The washed clothes also helped to get it outside to dry, it was really thoughtful!
Enough mineral water pipes, bananas to pick up.
The breakfast is rich in variety and the taste needs to be improved.
There are front and rear parking lots, convenient for self-driving!
It can be seen that the hotel strives to make up for the old shortcomings of the facilities through perfecting the service. Although some forces are not caught, the effort is worthy of recognition.
HHalou, dongshengAs a business traveler who frequently goes on trips, this guesthouse offered me a whole new work and relaxation experience. The fast and stable Wi-Fi allowed me to handle urgent business matters at any time, while the peaceful environment and beautiful scenery greatly inspired my creativity. During breaks between meetings, standing on the terrace and gazing at the mountains in the distance made my thoughts incredibly clear. This place is far more relaxing and inspiring than a typical business hotel. It's particularly suitable for teams needing a creative breakthrough or for high-end business hospitality.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, convenient for travel, the rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, there is a hiking greenway and park just outside the door, and Pu'er Mountain is opposite. The sunrise over the sea of clouds at Pu'er Mountain is amazing and I like it very much. I will come again next time
