Five-star recommendation for Quanzhou Lushih Homestay, the most delightful stay of my Quanzhou trip! The location is absolutely perfect, tucked away in a small alley off West Street. It's a two or three-minute walk directly to the East and West Pagodas of Kaiyuan Temple, and stepping out, you're surrounded by authentic local snacks. It's a rare find—peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle; closing the courtyard gate completely shields you from the street noise. Converted from a standalone Southern Fujian courtyard, the design is gentle yet refined. Lush greenery fills the small courtyard with an amazing atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem for photos, offering a 270-degree direct view of the twin pagodas. You can watch the sunset in the evening and capture stunning shots of the ancient city lights at night. The room was impeccably clean, the latex mattress was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. Smart toilet, hot water, and toiletries were all well-equipped, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's rest. The butler service was meticulous and heartwarming. Upon check-in, we received a hand-drawn guide to the ancient city's hidden gems, along with recommendations for local secret eateries, and any requests were met with super-fast responses. The common areas are elegantly decorated, with a tea corner, a small intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, and you can even experience writing wax-sealed letters to your future self—thoughtful details are everywhere. It's a godsend for self-driving tourists, as it comes with an underground parking lot, directly solving the parking problem in the old city. Breakfast features local old-brand mianxian hu (vermicelli paste) with vinegar-marinated pork, and traditional pastries are complimentary for afternoon tea. The value for money is exceptional, suitable for couples, girlfriends, and families alike. I will definitely stay at Lushih again on my next visit to Quanzhou!

Quanzhou is really a very suitable city for roaming. You can choose a homestay in the core area of ​​the ancient city, and you can go to popular attractions by walking into any alley. Whether it is the bustling West Street, the quiet Chengtian Temple, the Guandi Temple with constant incense, or the brightly lit Zhongshan Road, you can feel constant surprises in these little things. It is a city that you will want to come back to visit again. This homestay in Huaxiang has the charm of a winding path. Turning into Bajianxiang, it feels like you have really integrated into the daily life of Quanzhou. The quiet and comfortable space and the thoughtful and meticulous service make this trip to Quanzhou more beautiful. It's bustling as soon as you go out. I spend my time leisurely experiencing this city. It's unforgettable and I look forward to seeing you again.

I stayed at both the Seven Senses Bell Tower and Seven Senses Reef this trip, and if you have the time, both are absolutely worth experiencing. The Bell Tower is nestled in the bustling city center, a hidden gem amidst the urban sprawl, while the Reef stands majestically on a corner of the coastline, exuding a sense of profound solitude. Both properties benefited from Xie Ke's design involvement, guaranteeing quality and a strong sense of design. They're definitely worth a special trip and are perfect for photos. Both also have great surrounding attractions: the Bell Tower is right at the intersection of Dongxi Street, and from the Reef, you can head straight out to the beach. The service at both hotels was outstanding, elevating their overall quality. It's no wonder they've appeared on various Ctrip rankings.

This hostel was our first choice because of the positive reviews particularly about the hosts' friendly and helpful attitude and services. They answered all our questions about tourist attraction spots which are not always readily accessible online by foreigners. Very thoughtful of them to provide a hand-drawn map. The location is a plus point for those who want to stay within walking distance to Kai Yuan Shi. It sits in Xijie at the intersection between the more commercialised, touristy shops and day/night markets and shops that the locals frequented. Need to climb some stairs, the highest floor of the room is at the 4th. The luggage will be taken care of though. Worth it as this is the signature red- bricked building of the local Minnan culture.

Our overall stay was fantastic! The location was easy to find, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Xiao Zheng at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The hotel facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was excellent. It offered incredible value for money, making it very convenient for exploring. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

If you're coming to Quanzhou and want to deeply experience the ancient city's vibe, you can't go wrong with this place.

Hilton Quanzhou absolutely deserves 5 star!! The hotel’s interior design is beautiful with a premium, high-end feel. The room was spotlessly clean with no odor at all. The facilities are very complete — everything you need is provided, making the stay very convenient. The staff are super friendly too. Both the front desk and housekeeping team were especially warm and attentive. The location is also great. Amazing hotel, over looking the shijing river. looking towards the Temple on the hill side. The location is ideal for me to visit business in Shijing. The food service, assistance of the staff on reception & the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. I am also very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff.
