Facilities: The room is a small, independent tent, one room with a bathroom, and a cabinet-style air conditioner. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area and is fully equipped with toiletries and a hairdryer. Cleanliness: The room is very clean, although the carpet next to the bed is notoriously difficult to clean and was inevitably a little dirty, but the rest of the room was almost spotless. There was no unpleasant smell in the room. Environment: It was too hot in the summer, so we had to run the air conditioner all day. The room's ventilation wasn't very good, and it was a bit chilly at night with the air conditioner on, and a bit hot with the windows open. Fortunately, the blankets were thick. The only downside is that there are no convenience stores nearby; you need to drive 15 minutes to the town's shopping mall to buy things. We brought our dog there. There are only large tea plantations nearby, not any particularly wide lawns or anything like that. Overall, a day's walk is enough to see everything. There are a lot of mosquitoes at night. As for dining options, besides the guesthouse's own restaurant, there aren't many other choices nearby. I also went to a restaurant called ”Songlin Mountain Village Restaurant,” which had large portions, good value, and a wide variety of dishes, but the road was difficult to navigate. Service: The guesthouse staff were very attentive, turning on the room's air conditioning before we even arrived. The guesthouse's own coffee shop and restaurant were also fully equipped, offering green tea-themed drinks and dishes. I'm not particularly interested in tea, so I won't comment on that. Overall, it was a very good experience, extremely pet-friendly, suitable for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and also perfect for bringing furry friends to enjoy some fresh air.

The original booked ordinary room type, the hotel intimately upgraded to a big bed suite with a separate living room for free, the room is equipped with a bathtub, and the living experience is directly full! On the day of check-in, the hotel was full and received a large number of tour groups. The store specially arranged a very quiet room for us, which was completely unaffected by the noise and was particularly intimate. At 9 o'clock in the evening, I went to the second floor to eat a bowl of noodles late at night. The children in the same group wanted to eat. The staff also specially helped to cook the small wontons. The details were full of special warmth. Check-out is also intimate to allow delay until 2 pm, no need to rush the road, there is plenty of parking space at the entrance of the hotel, self-driving travel is super convenient, the overall service is meticulous and warm, and I will choose here next time I stay!

Even at low tide, you can capture a heart-shaped sea view without even going downstairs. After booking, I called the front desk to ask if they could reserve a middle room, and they kindly noted it down. Sure enough, I got a middle room – so sweet! 🫰 The room was surprisingly large; it felt luxurious to stay alone! The hotel is very close to the beach, just a hundred or two meters through the lobby on the first floor. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the staff at the front desk and restaurant were very nice. It was Christmas Eve when I checked in, and the front desk staff even gave me a ”peace apple” (a traditional Chinese gift for good luck). The cocktails were delivered to my room by a robot, and they tasted good. I forgot to try the coffee, but I'll try it next time. I would call this hotel the king of value for money during the off-season, and I'll definitely stay here again next time.

My stay at the Courtyard Rizhao exceeded my expectations. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby and guest room facilities are all very new, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view, and the room was clean and quiet. I'd especially like to commend Arthur at the front desk. He was polite and professional, making the check-in and check-out process smooth. He patiently answered my questions about membership and local attractions. His service was perfectly balanced, truly reflecting the Marriott brand's service standards. Overall, the stay was very pleasant, suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located within the Bailuwan Resort in Wulian County, a bit far from the city center. The resort boasts a beautiful environment and complete facilities (though there are no supermarkets or convenience stores, so getting a Coke might be difficult). It offers abundant recreational resources, and hotel guests receive discounts on various activities. The Water Art Museum is particularly recommended – it's stunning. Overall, it's suitable for family trips, or a must-visit for chocolate lovers (you'll see when you get there)!

This was the best and most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my time in Rizhao. The facilities are new, clean, and the rooms are spacious. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties provided excellent service! Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but there were both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was good. However, a serious issue occurred during breakfast. The staff member placing the chopsticks accidentally dropped one onto the table I was using. Instead of immediately removing this contaminated chopstick, they put it back with the others. Food safety is paramount, and this created a potential food safety hazard for the next guests using that table. I immediately contacted the duty staff and reported the incident to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk, wearing a dark blue suit, had an excellent attitude, responded promptly, and went to handle it right away. However, the duty staff's first reaction was to make excuses for the incident, telling me that all tables are disinfected. I immediately retorted, ”Was this table disinfected after I used it?” Subsequently, I asked her to remove all the chopsticks. I hope the hotel makes improvements based on this incident and enhances training. The hotel performed very well in all other aspects.
