Leiden Hotels with Free Parking.

Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast, cosy rooms, terras for the kids outside, parking facilities at 100 meters from the hotel, the city centre at the doorstep of the hotel, Leiden is a nice city to spend a week, go shopping or visit many of the countless museums.

The room was clean and spacious. But I had several problems. I showed up and could not get a room at the desk, even though there was somebody there. I had to do it online. That was cumbersome, partly because the desk couldn't find me at first even after I checked in online. The nexst frustrating thing for this infrequent traveler's perspective were needing to use my room card for the elevator to operate, but saw nothing in the elevator to prompt me. Similarly, it took me ~5 minutes to find the master switch, which was ＞2 meters into the room and not visible from the doorway. Once I got through these problem and figured how to use all the light switches, everything was fine. I don't recall any of these items being mentioned by the desk person. I suggest that the desk inform guests of these potential hiccups.

I was in town overnight i booked at last min. Everything you need is very close by. It's also only 1 min walk from train station which is easy to get to from schipol airport by train. 10 mins Beautiful location and surrounds. The room was warm. Clean. And comfortable. As a Scots traveller some milk would be practical as we like milk In our tea yet this is never provided by our European neighbours. Overall no complaints and I will definitely be back for future trips 5 star.
