Posted on May 12, 2025|Xin Meng Deluxe Family Room (Starry Night Lighting + Child's Bathrobe + 65-inch TV With Projection)
Jiafeibushimaoď˝miaoLocationđThe hotel is right at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area. It belongs to Huazhu Club with the Huajianting next door. The two share a courtyard. The children's playground of Manxinfu is also in the Huajianting next door. There is another Huazhu Club in the scenic area with a better price.
Service: Smooth check-in, quick response, and children's toiletries and slippers are provided
Facilities: The meal provided by the package is rich in variety. Coffee and bread coupons were given although they were not used. The family package in the package has a separate group purchase of 298, which tastes good. Breakfast is until 10 o'clock on weekends, with many choices and few Western styles.
Let me talk about the points that I don't agree with:
The fruit platter written in the 298 family package in the package was originally prepared to be packed, but the waiter asked if there were only 4 slices of watermelon. Haha, this platter...
If you book a calendar room directly, you can upgrade the room, check out late, give souvenirs, and send bird watching coupons. There are none of them redeemed with group purchases. Bird watching coupons need to be bought by yourself for 50 per personđ

Guest UserThe room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

XiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.

I originally booked a Classic Room package. The front desk staff suggested upgrading to a Balcony Room, which is 30 square meters larger, for an additional 500 RMB. I took their advice, and after comparing, I think it was worth it because not only did I get more space, but also a large balcony and double breakfast. The room was high-ceilinged and cool, the air conditioning was comfortable, and the mattress was very pleasant. There were many books in the room to browse. The bathroom had a double vanity, but I was a little disappointed that not every sink had both hand soap and lotion. The left sink had hand soap, and the right one had lotion. So, if you wanted to wash your hands, you went to the left sink, and then to the right sink for lotion after washing. The two sinks were quite far apart with a large bathtub in the middle. I hope the hotel can be a bit more generous and provide both items at each sink, which would be much more convenient. From the moment I entered the hotel, the service felt like I was entering my own home. There were complimentary snacks, and the tea served was also good. All the staff greeted me with proactive smiles. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything was high quality, though there's room for improvement with the Western pastries. This trip, I specifically went for the noodles at Su Mian Fang. The service and taste were absolutely incredible, though the price was a bit on the high side. I wanted to eat them again. I'm not sure if it's because I rarely eat Su noodles and am therefore less knowledgeable, or if they truly are considered a delicacy among Suzhou noodles. Additionally, the hotel's environment is very Suzhou-like, and it's located by the lake in front of the Gate of the Orient.

This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! What captivated me most was the courtyard â several lush, leafy trees provided extensive shade, making it incredibly therapeutic to sit beneath them, enjoying the breeze and a short rest. It truly integrates nature into the space, allowing you to breathe alongside it. The courtyard is immaculately clean and elegantly maintained, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. A staff member mentioned it was converted from an old school. The staff provided thoughtful and attentive service, welcoming me warmly and patiently answering all my questions. The entire experience was comfortable and unobtrusive. The desserts in the cafe were delicately textured and perfectly sweet without being cloying, and the drinks were fresh and delicious. Enjoying a dessert under the big trees, with a gentle black cat for company, truly elevated the ambiance. Itâs perfect for both relaxation and photography. Highly recommend!

ShushushushushushushuSpecifically came to try out this hotel, and the experience was absolutely perfect. The hotel's design is innovative and unique, with a strong Jiangnan regional style flowing through every area, creating an incredible aesthetic atmosphere. The lobby on the 46th floor offers a superb high-altitude view; the panoramic scenery is breathtaking and perfect for sightseeing and taking photos. A big thank you to Sylvia for her attentive service throughout; she was professional, efficient, and genuinely kind, always responding promptly to all our requests. The environment, views, and service are all top-notch, making this an excellent choice for a stay.

Guest UserChoosing to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel for my Suzhou vacation was an absolutely fantastic experience, truly embodying the relaxed sophistication of a luxury getaway. It's no wonder it's considered a top-tier luxury hotel on Jinji Lake. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail were all incredibly impressive, making it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Suzhou.
The hotel boasts a unique location on its own private island in Jinji Lake, offering a secluded and tranquil retreat far from the city's hustle and bustle. From the moment you enter, the scenery unfolds beautifully, with stunning lake views and lush greenery at every turn, each step revealing an elegant Suzhou-style charm. During the day, you can gaze at the expansive blue waters of Jinji Lake and the city skyline. In the evening, the sunset casts a warm glow over the lake, and after dark, the lights sparkle, providing a direct view of the 'Eye of Suzhou' Ferris wheel at night. It's peaceful and therapeutic, and every photo you take is filled with atmospheric beauty, perfectly capturing that sense of a vacation escape.
The overall design seamlessly blends the serene, ink-wash landscape aesthetic of Jiangnan gardens with modern, subtle luxury. There's no over-the-top decor; instead, every detail exudes understated elegance. The public areas are open and refined, adorned with garden elements and Chinese design accents, creating a quiet and serene atmosphere. Strolling through feels like being in a traditional Jiangnan courtyard, instantly bringing a sense of calm and relaxation.
What truly moved me was the Four Seasons' impeccable service, which genuinely paid attention to every detail, making me feel completely at home. From the moment I arrived at the underground parking, staff proactively helped with luggage and guided me through the check-in process, which was efficient and quick, with no long waits. I was also pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful room upgrade upon check-in. The staff even brought a generous welcome fruit platter, exquisite desserts, and special tea, accompanied by a handwritten greeting card â a truly heartfelt gesture. Throughout my stay, the staff were polite, gentle, and promptly responsive to any request, always there when needed but never intrusive, striking the perfect balance.
The guest room's living quality far exceeded my expectations. The overall design used low-saturation, soft color tones, creating a warm yet sophisticated ambiance. The room had excellent natural light and stunning views, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the lake, providing an exceptional viewing experience. The entire room was meticulously clean, with spotless corners and crevices. The bed was soft, fluffy, and breathable, paired with high-quality bedding, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep. The bathroom was spacious with a separate wet and dry area, and the design featuring a Chinese screen alongside a scenic bathtub was particularly unique and atmospheric. Coupled with high-end FrĂŠdĂŠric Malle bath products, taking a relaxing bath was incredibly therapeutic. The room's soundproofing was excellent, blocking out all external noise, making it quiet and private, allowing for immersive personal time.
The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety and fresh ingredients, with both Western and Chinese dishes, as well as local Jiangnan specialties, all exquisitely prepared and authentic. The hotel also offers diverse recreational experiences such as a flower workshop, pottery workshop, and lake-side cycling, along with thoughtful family-friendly amenities, catering to both adult relaxation and children's enjoyment.
This stay was a perfect 10! The Suzhou Four Seasons seamlessly blends Suzhou's elegant charm with luxurious service, showcasing high quality through every detail. It offers incredible value for money and has become my benchmark for luxury hotels in Suzhou. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Suzhou!

Posted on Nov 30, 2025|Themed Room (Double Bed)
dyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

Posted on Jul 14, 2025|2-bed Room With Lake View
Cyfer3185Stayed at this homestay for 3 nights in July which is peak season for summer domestic travel in China. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities youâd expect of a 4 star hotel - comfortable beds, lounging area, balcony, TV, good toiletries, hair dryer. Other positives were very friendly service staff, hearty breakfast from the cafe with is on the same premise. Thereâs also local restaurants nearby to dine at which are not bad, just 5-10 mins walk down the road. I also enjoyed waking up to run across the bridge which has a great sunrise view. A lot of tourists visit the cafe for the sunset views. The hotel staff can do room service and bring food ordered from the cafe to your room if requested.
Note though that location wise it is not as close to other cafes and stuff. Youâll need to travel a fair bit if you want to venture and do other things. I wanted a peaceful retreat with a good view but nearer to mainland (compared to the main 輿幹ĺ˛ďź so this worked for me.
I stayed in 3 different rooms (Rm 1,4,5) for my 3 nights as I had asked for a room with a view but was initially assigned one that was completely blocked by trees. In trying to accommodate my request I ended up having different rooms (to no fault of the staff and property) each night. There are 8 ânormal roomsâ and one suite room that is round and more suited for honeymoon/romantic occasions. Rooms 3,4,5,6 are the ones with the better view. Room 1 (my first room) has a completely blocked view which is a waste staying by the lake. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best view. Note also that rm 1 and 4 have a skylight that cannot be blocked so by 5 am your room is gonna be bright although they do give you eye shades to help.
There is also no laundry facilities on site.
Only additional feedback to the property would be that they could consider a discount for guests to dine at the cafe, that could encourage guests to have more meals there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape for the buzz and want a tranquil place to rest!

Posted on Jun 20, 2026|Executive Deluxe Twin Room - High-Floor Bustling City Night View
maggie-wuThe price didn't even go up for the Dragon Boat Festival. I booked an executive room, which gave me access to the executive lounge, perfect for traveling with seniors and kids. From the 26th floor, you can catch a glimpse of Suzhou Center and Jinji Lake. The beds in the room were really soft and comfortable. I was very satisfied with the service at both the front desk and the restaurant. The B2 level is the parking lot, and B1 leads directly to Xinghai Square Station on Metro Line 1. The front desk is on the 4th floor. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I only have one photo of the executive lounge on the 25th floor.
