"The hotel's location is very convenient, right next to Chinatown with tons of great food options. It's incredibly quiet; there wasn't a sound at night, which made sleeping easy. The front desk staff were also very friendly. It's worth mentioning that they provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities, which is truly admirable. This was the most satisfying accommodation on my entire Europe trip."

酸酸菜魚Great hotel option for a Barcelona city stay. We really liked this hotel at the edge of Barcelona city. This hotel is still within zone 1 of Barcelona so you can use a 1 zone public transport to get to and from almost anywhere in Barcelona.
The location is pretty good but it is a bit close to the La Mina neighborhood which is a poorer neighborhood of Barcelona. There have been improvements in the neighborhood but it is still recommended to stick to the areas that are near the hotel or the south and west of the hotel (towards the sea) if you plan to stay out late at night.
We found the area very convenient for us as we arrived early morning and the Forum metro station is nice and the area immediately near the hotel has reasonable level of security and local police presence.
The hotel reception and team was very cordial and serviceable. The room we got was very good, had a nice balcony and it overlooks the nearby student accommodation so it was silent at night. Breakfast was very tasty and had enough of a food variety + delicious breads and iberico ham.
GGuest UserIt's a pretty good hotel, especially if you're traveling by car. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and the city center is only about a 10-minute drive away.
The rooms are quite spacious and look clean.
Breakfast was quite hearty, with options like hash browns and pancakes, and everything tasted good.
It's worth noting that all the elevators in this hotel are panoramic elevators, so those with a fear of heights should be aware.
JJulia LittlewhiteFirst time travel to Barcelona, the hotel looks great!!! The location is very convenient, we can go to famous spots within 30 mins, the services are quite good, the space theme is quite special and unique, only weak point is the air-condition seems not working very efficiently and the windows are not being able to open if we would like some fresh air. Others are all great:)
GGuest UserVery good location, lots of restaurants near by and within comfortable walking distance to attractions including Gaudi’s well known church, the Basílica de la Sagrada Família.
Room is good size, with separated shower and toilet. Room attendant is very nice. We stayed 4 nights and may reserve it again if we’re going to Barcelona in the future.
The only downside is the elevator is a bit smaller.
SSyed Ali Abb@s RizviI had a really great stay at TOC Hostel and enjoyed it a lot. The hostel is extremely clean, neat, and well maintained. The architecture and interior design are very attractive and modern, which makes the place feel lively and comfortable.
The location is excellent — it’s only about a 3 to 4 minute walk from the metro station, which makes traveling around the city very easy. The bunk beds were very comfortable and well designed, allowing for a good night’s sleep. I had a very enjoyable and relaxing experience overall.
The self-catering kitchen was good and useful, although it is a bit small. Lockers are available, but guests need to bring their own padlock, which is important to know in advance.
Overall, TOC Hostel is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, well-designed, and conveniently located place to stay. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again.
MM8657****While the price booked via Ctrip was quite affordable at the time, I still wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel had an indescribable, unpleasant fragrance, and the air conditioning unit also emitted a strange smell, which was simply unbearable. My husband wanted to leave on the very first day of our stay, but having already paid, we decided to tough it out. There are some restaurants, supermarkets, and eateries nearby. Taxis are sometimes easy to find, but at other times they're scarce. To fellow Chinese travelers, if you have other options, I'd strongly advise against staying here!

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.
CCHIHAYA YAMANEIf you stay here, we recommend a room with a veranda! The staff were friendly, and the contents of the 24-hour all-you-can-drink buffet were also good 々. The fruit was sweet. The vicinity of the hotel is also full of tourist attractions, but it was easy to get around the tourist attractions because it was right next to the subway station. However, it seems that the tourist tax has risen, and a payment of 16000 yen was made locally separate from the accommodation fee for 3 family members for 3 nights.
GGuest UserI had a beautiful stay. I had been staying and loving the SLS Hotel in Miami and therefore wanted to try this new one in Barcelona. It looks very luxurious and the room I had was very spacious and just beautiful and well thought over all. The only thing that wasn’t super ideal for someone who loves walking a lot is the location. It was great, next to the beach and also really great amenities however getting to the city one would always have to take an Uber since it’s quite far away from it. At some point I started riding the bicycle and that was great as well but it just needs to be considered. Also you should not sleep with the doors to the balcony opened. They do warn about it at the hotel and for a reason. There are truly a lot of mosquitoes and just after one night leaving the door opened I was completely covered with mosquito bites. Also if possible ask for rooms farther away from the pool as that is where most of the mosquitoes will be. I got moved to a new room so the service is amazing.
GGuest UserGood location as easily connected to bus and tram, train. Right opposite is Gran Via 2 shopping mall.
The checkout time is 10am, earlier than the industry practice and it’s costed 20€ to extend the checkout time to 1pm. Luggage stored with front desk is charged at 5€.
Hotel claimed they are merely 1 star, thus only provide basis and earlier checkout time. 🙂
The room is just sleeping bed, no table, no chairs, no kettle, no glass, nothing mini fridge. Drinking water can get from lobby but hot water is charged 5 cent for a small cup. Hair dryer can get from front desk but can’t keep it as return required upon using.
Overall it is ok hotel if u just need sleep and shower.
